Well i also believe that we should overlook the past but there are some misconceptions which shd be cleared. Acc to me Mughals were not bad b/c Mughal era is most glorious era of indian history. They do invaded india but then they stayed in india and made many developments. As far as invasions are concerned, i think that was a tradition at that time. Everybody wanted to broaden their empire, even our fav PRC did the same and captured many near by states but as he's our fav so we overlook it. Its the Britishers who were against india and took the wealth from india. They used to consider india as a golden bird and not the mughals b/c they were not intended to go anywhere or to take india's money to somewhere else. They used india's wealth on india. Its is b/c of mughals that india is able to proclaim itself as a ctry possessing a wonder i.e Taj Mahal. There were many muslim rulers who fought and died for India. We know abt Tipu sultan, he fought so bravely against the Britishers and never let them put foot on his land. It was after his death that Britishers had full control over India. Its the Britishers who created hostilities b/w hindus and muslims. They truly believed and successfully practiced the DIVIDE & RULE policy. And residents of sub-continent were foolish enough to fall under their prey.....And this is what they are still doing, they are using indian, pakistani and bengali labour on cheap rates and flourishing their ctry. And we feel very ashamed working in our ctry but are ready to clean toilets in their ctry. If this goes on then God knows when r we going to develop.....
