Of what I caught Ruhi Adi were shown in their room dressed up in typical South Indian attires. Adi had worn a veshti and a shirt while Ruhi was in some kinda saree, she was excited to be celebrating Pongal and Adi storms at her as to how could she be such an idiot, so blind not to realize that there is no reason for them to celebrate or dress up the way they are. Ishita is an outsider, she doesnt belong in the family; their family is the two of them and their parents, that their mother is only Shagun and Ishita is a nobody.

Ruhi doesnt say anything to him but she visibly gets heartbroken at being yelled at by Adi.
