New Manan Scenes for all Mananians--Scene12-PART 9 Updated....

The phone rang in Nandhini's household , chachi lifted it up and answered. "Hello.. kaun hain..."

"May I speak to Ms. Nandhini Murthy..." The person at the other end answered ,"Acha ek minute... Nandhu there liye phone hai..."... Nandhini came to the phone slowly owing to the injuries she suffered lately.."Ji Chachi... " she took the phone and answered " hello.. its Nandhini speaking.. who is it.."

"Tell your boyfriend to back off or he is going to be dead soon... like the others..." the voice at the other end answered... "What...!! What do you mean...!! What do you want him to back off from...?? Who are you... ?" Nandhini blurted in shock...

"Oh !! Really ? you do not know...? Fine... Ask your Boyfriend to stop searching for your kidnappers, all the ones you saw are dead, if he digs further, he will be dead too... this is your first and last warning..."

With that the person at the other end hung up..."Hello !! Wait !!! One minute..." Nandhini blurted out but it was in vain, the call had ended.

Panic rose in her Heart... someone had just threatened her Manik... threatened to kill him... and all because of her... because he wouldn't give up on searching for the people who wanted to hurt her...

"No Manik... No... You cant do this to me... You cant endanger your life for me once again... I wont let you do this... I wont let you risk your life for me... never..." she promised to herself...

She dialed Manik's number from her Phone... "Nandhini... bolo... missing me ?...Don't...because I was starting just now... I will be with you in 20 minutes... ok..?"

"Ok.. I am waiting for you.." she replied suppressing her anxiety and panic... she didn't want him to drive with tension in his mind.. She would wait for him to come home before talking to him about this.

As promised Manik came back to her in twenty minutes flat... he sat beside her bed on a chair and took her hand in his and started playing with it... "Missed me...?" he asked... smiling at her...

She nodded affirmatively... his smile grew wider "me too..." he said and kissed her hand tenderly.

Her eyes welled up in tears...even the thought of him in danger was killing her from inside... He had become her life and soul in the past few days... His smile made her pain go away... His presence around her brought warmth in her heart... and his care for her... acted like a medicine and healed her wounds.

She could not survive without seeing him for one day and here he was risking his life to find them.

She didn't care who kidnapped her... She didn't care if she was kidnapped again... She didn't care if she lived or died... the only thing that mattered now was his safety... nothing more.. nothing less...

"Manik..." she whispered softly... He immediately noticed the change in her voice and looked up... "What..." he stopped seeing her expression and tears welling up in her eyes..."What's wrong... Are you in pain...? " he asked her alarmed...

"No... I am alright... I want something from you... will you promise to give me... no matter what it is..."

She looked into those alarmed eyes full of concern for her, she knew he wouldn't refuse her, it was a girl's instinct.. when she knew she found the one person of her life.. who would never deny her anything... who would move Heaven and Earth for her... if so she wishes...

"Nandhini what do you want..." he replied, he knew something was wrong , and he couldn't see the pain and fair in her eyes that he saw now...

"Promise me you will stop searching for the people who kidnapped me... you will forget what happened and move on... Promise me..."Nandhini asked him...

Manik stared at her silently for a few seconds , then "OK... I Promise..."

He understood now what happened, she was in fear and was asking him to stop investigating the kidnappers, she was threatened, she would not fear for her life, no she would not, she was unusually fearless in that way, but she would fear someone she loved being in danger, someone of her family or friends or him...Him !!! They threatened her with harming HIM !!!

Manik's anger rose like a Volcano inside him... but he had promised to her... and he will abide by it...

He took her in his arms and hugged her... the only way he knew to control his anger... her touch... her presence... it overpowered every feeling in him... It calmed him down... it gave him peace... his miracle...!!!

Scene 12 part 6:Cming up...

Nandhini hugged him back tightly... his presence in her arms.. the feel of his skin against hers... put her at ease... the panic and fear clutching at her heart eased and she felt relief washing down her heart.

Manik cradled her face in his palms and looked softly into her eyes... holding her face with one hand , with the other he wiped her tears. "Don't worry ok... everything will be fine... I promise... sleep now... you look weak..." She nodded at that.

He made her lie down on the bed and covered her with her Blanket, dimmed the light... turned to look once more before coming out of the room... She reached out for his hand... her hand stretched towards his... He sighed... then Sat down beside her, while she took his hand in both of hers firmly and brought it close to her... she closed her eyes and slowly fell into sleep.

He watched her serene face in sleep... how peaceful it looked like an Ocean of Calm. "I want you to be peaceful like this asleep or awake... Humeshaa..." he spoke softly to himself...

He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket... he unlocked it with his other hand , it was Soha calling him...

"Damn... this Girl never gives up does she... in how many more ways I need to make it clear... that I am not interested in her..." He Rejected the call and switched off his Phone. She had kept bothering him first during the fab5 practice sessions in the day and then with the calls and messages in the night, even turning up at his home in the night at times... he was thankful that he no longer went home to sleep at night... at least at night he could escape the torture of the stalker... He was eagerly waiting for tomorrow when Mr. Khurana would here their compositions and finally sign the Deal... and finally he would no longer need to bear his daughter's stalking.

He would have chucked the album long ago if not for his Friends needing the album. The wretched album took his time away from spending it with his Nandhini and that he hated the most. But all that would change tomorrow, he would no longer need to split his time with practice sessions... he can spend all his time with his Nandhu... and that thought cheered him up... "lets go on a date ..." he softly whispered to the asleep Nandhini... He chuckled imagining how she would react to that.. if she were awake... He couldn't wait for tomorrow to come any sooner...

The Next Morning...

Chachi knocked on Nandhini's door... "Nandhu uto... thumhe aaj college jaana hai na... utke thayyar hojao... Manik aatha hoga thumhe lena..."

On not getting any response, she pushed the door to see that Nandhini was still in Bed.

"Nandhu.. uto beta.." she shook Nandhu's hand to wake her... she immediately felt the High temperature of Nandhu's skin...

"Ithna Tez bukhaar, raath thak tho theek thi... Meri bachchi kya huva tumhe..." she was alarmed and rushed to inform her husband.

Nandhu's chacha rushed to her room , he checked her temperature with Thermometer... it was Hundred and Three... "Humain nandhu ko abhi Hospital le jaana padega... ithni high fever hona dangerous hain... main abhi jaake taxi le aatha hoon..."

They took her to the Hospital and admitted her there on the Doctor's advise.

After checking her.. the Doctor informed them that Nandhini was having blood clot in lungs, and she would have to be operated immediately...

Chacha and Chachi were devastated...

"How is that possible doctor... she was alright till last night... How can she suddenly become like this..." Nandhu's Chacha asked...

"Blood Clots are formed when we are injured, but can lie dormant for some time.. until they start blocking blood vessels... only then the symptoms start showing up... unfortunately that's what happened with her... but its good that you brought her here now... we can remove the clot by surgery immediately... little more late and it would have been extremely dangerous..." the doctor replied.

"Please do whatever is required and save our Nandhu.." Chacha pleaded the doctor...

"Sure Mr. Murthy."The doctor nodded and left.

At the same time... Nandhini's mobile rang... Chachi had brought it with her... it was Manik calling...

Chachi lifted the phone.. "Hello.."

"Chachi aap.. !!! woh actually I called to check if Nandhini is ready... I am about to reach there to pick her up... aaj hamaara Band ka Audition hain na... aapko bathaaya tha na kal..." Manik replied...

Chachi was already in Tears seeing Nandhu's condition.. she couldn't answer coherently... she looked up at her husband ... Chacha took the Phone "Manik... nandhini nahin aapayegi... woh kya hain na... Rishab ko phir se attack aya hain tho hum sab hospital aaye hain... "

Manik immediately pressed the Brakes of the Car..."Kahan par hain Chachu... main abhi aatha hoon..."

"Thumhari audition hain na Manik... thum complete kar lo ... Thab thak hum sab Rishab ko lekar ghar aajayenge theek hain..."Chachu replied...

"Chachu kya main ek baar nandhini sain baath kar saktha hoon... "Manik asked

"Woh Rishabh ka paas hain... Thumhe patha hain na... sirf woh sambhaal sakthi hain ... usain... ab main Phone raktha hoon Manik... theek hain..."Chachu Replied and cut the call.

"Par Chachu.."the call was cut before Manik could speak anymore...

He felt uneasy that Nandhini needed him and he was not with her... Rishabh's attacks always took a toll on her both mentally and physically and already she was weak with her injuries...

He had half mind to call up the hospitals around their home and find out where they admitted Rishabh and rush to Nandhini's side... but now his Friends needed him in the audition... it meant a lot to them...

He had to go...

Scene 12 part 7:

Manik went to the Auditorium were the Band audition was supposed to happen... his Four friends were already present and waiting for him. Cabir looked at him and felt something was bothering him, he looked preoccupied."Manik what happened.. is Nandhini OK..? You look Lost..."

Manik shrugged in response and gave a weak smile..."Nothing.. She is OK... "

Cabir.."Main tumhein saath saal sain jaantha hoon... thu mujhe behlaa nahin saktha ... Bol kya pareshaan kar raha hain tujhe..."

"Rishabh is in Hospital... they took him this morning... something happened.." he replied gazing at his Phone...

How he wished he could talk to her... know how she is coping... Console her , calm her if needed but he couldn't and on the Top of it the nagging feeling bothering him that something is happening that shouldn't happen... something bad... he couldn't exactly pin point what the feeling was but it made him nervous not having Nandhini in front of his eyes...

Cabir sensed that Manik wanted to be with Nandhini ... to be there for her in such a time of need...

"Agar baath serious hain tho jaa Nandhini ka paas... Main yahan sambhaal lunga... Kuch na kuch kar ke Postpone karvaa dhuunga..."

Manik looked up at the remaining Fab5 Dhruv , Aliya and Mukthi... they were practicing , smiling , laughing and looked happy... how could he take that away from them... No he couldn't ... He sighed...

"No Cabir.. its OK... ek ghante kit ho baath hain... Uska baadh chala jaaonga... chalo shuru karthe hain..."

They walked over to their places on stage and joined the rest of their Friends...

Khurana had already taken his place and was talking with the principal... Next to him was the famous Music director Kaiser.. who was brought in by Khurana as a Judge...

Mukti and Aliya were discussing how Handsome Kaiser looked ...

Mukti "humare tharaf dektha kyun nahin... socha tha ki Hai bolungi... lekin jab sa aaya hain, apne tab sain nazar nahin hataa raha hain... "

Aliya " Shayad koi tune likh raha hoga... maine dekha uske Interview main kah raha tha ki har waqth who sirf Music ka baarein main hi sochtha hain..."

Mukti "lekin yaar ithna toned and hot hain... Gym tho jaatha hi hoga... patha karna padega konsa hain..."

Dhruv was ignoring his friends Fangirling the music director and going over their lyrics and musical notes one last time...

Cabir noticed the girls fangirling..." Suna thune yeh ladkiyaan bhi na ... Koi Hot guy dikha nahin ki bas shuru ho jaathe hain... Vaise maan na padega iss Kaiser na Music industry main aathe aathe hi dhoom macha dhiya... theen consecutive Musical Hits in a row... impressive... nai?"

He looked over to Manik... who was busy dialing his Phone and frustrated that it was not connecting...

"Hi Manik..." Soha came over to the place they were standing...

Manik sighed and switched off his Phone... after which he gave a polite nod to Soha ...

"Guys its showtime... its time for a Group Hug... everyone ...come on.."

Fab5 hugged it out in their trademark Group Hug...

"Guys this is it... It's the Break we have been waiting for... one good performance and we are on our way to Success... lets Do it... " Cabir started...

"For Fab 5... " Manik continued and everyone joined in "For Fab 5..."

Manik took his place at the center of the stage and looked to the audience... consisiting of Soha , Khurana , Kaiser and the staff of Fab 5

He felt alone... the room felt empty , gloomy... one face was missing here... the one face that would have looked at him with Love and given him a smile of Assurance and Encouragement...

The one face whose smile would have calmed his nerves and filled his heart with joy and hope... inspired him to give his best...

He sighed and closed his eyes... tried to remember her Smile... the everglowing beacon of Love and Care for him... and just like that her mere memory filled the room with light for him... "Be with me..." he whispered to her caressing his Tie Locket...

Cabir started the Final Count... "One.." Drum Roll... "Two.." Drum Roll.. "Three" Drum Roll...

It Began...

Scene 12 part 8:

Manik drove as fast as his car could go , his heart rate was beating erratically , sometimes it would plunge to the depths of despair and sometimes to the heights of determination of saving its Love.

The events of the morning recapped in Manik's mind , where all could he have avoided the current scenario and been there for Nandhini, he cursed himself for not being there for her and now she was fighting Life and Death.

Death.

The word made his Heart stop for a second.No, that was not possible. There cannot be Manik without Nandhini... there just couldn't be ...They belonged with each other, they need each other to survive, to live... He shook off the dread... No, She is gonna be alright.She will be any cost.'

Atlast he reached the Hospital.He ran to the ICU, where he saw Chacha and Chachu standing, consoling each other."Chachaji what happened to her.. how is she..."

Chacha looked up surprised "Manik... !!! Thum Aagayee... Betaa doctors kehrahe hain ki blod vlot hua hain... aur usain nikalnein kay liye surgery chal raha hain... Situation critical batha rahe hain.."

Manik shouted "Kya... Blood Clot aur Critical... aur aapne mujhe bathaane ki zaroorath nahin samjhi..."

Chachi hugged him and consoled him..."Jab Nandhu theek hojayegi ... thumhein jithna bhi daatna hain daat lein beta... abhi sirf dua maango ki hamari Nandhu theek hojaaye.."

Manik replied "Theek kyu nahin hogi... theek hona padega... kya samajhthi woh.. jab chahegi meri zindhagi main aayegi ... aur jab chaahein... main Manik Malhotra hoon... aur jab thak main hoon woh kahin nahin jaa sakthi...

Right at that time , doctor came out of Surgery,"Doctor Surgery successful thi na.. Nandhini theek hai na...?" Manik asked

"Yes, Humnein Blood Clot nikaal dhiya lekin , the surgery was successfull.." the Doctor replied

Manik hugged the doctor in Happiness "Thanks Doctor, Thank You very Much..."

"Its alright Young Man.."the doctor replied taken aback

Chacha and Chachi hugged in Happiness too...

Chachi hugged Manik as well "Ab hamari Nandhini hamein wapas mil jaayegi..."

Manik:"Haan Chachi"

Manik moved out from there and wiped the tears that he realised were on his face .

"Did you ever tell her how much you Love her..."

Manik turned back to see it was the doctor who operated on Nandhini

"Life doesn't give second chances... we never know what will happen tomorrow... never leave anything to regrets... If you Love her so much make sure you tell her that in you words as well as actions.She will be moved to Observation ward in some time... When she wakes up "

Manik was taken aback by her words, he pondered over them as the doctor walked away.

"I Love You Nandhini" he told to himself.."Its time I tell you that... "

He called up and told his Friends that he was tied up with some work and wont be available.

He stood outside the room in which she was kept under observation gazing at her and remembering their memories.

After what seemed like ages, he saw that she was getting conscious,he immediately called for the doctor.

The Doctor checked her and came out

"She needs to be taken for some scans... but till then you all can meet her" he replied

All of them tried to go inside at once, while the nurse stopped them saying only one was allowed.

"Aap pehle milkain aayiye..." Manik said to Chacha

"Nahin thum jao beta ... isain mera sorry samajhlo " Chacha replied

Manik smiled and went inside...

Tears filled his Heart and eyes on seeing the tiny little girl that he loved lying on the bed all fragile with needles in her arms, all sorts of tubes... but still smiling on seeing him...

"Manik" she whispered

The one sound that meant everything to him, she filled it with her warmth , love , affection, she made him hers, she gave herself to him as his home.

She struggled to extend her hand to him.. gesturing to him come near her...

Her gesture acted as a Gravitational Pull on him...

Even with out thinking he was kneeling by her bed , taking her tiny hand in his...

She tried to lift her hand... He supported her hand by his hands...

Her handed stretched to his face to wipe the tears streaming from his eyes...

"I am ok.." She whispered ...

He gently took her hand and kissed it.

Just the touch of her skin to his lips made his heart content,like it finally peace.

His heartbeart came back to normal.

"Nandhini,I want to something to say to you..."

She nodded her head.

Manik holding her hand while he knelt down beside her "I am in Love with You Nandhini... "

He looked at her eyes... he knew she understood what that meant

What that one statement meant to him, to her, to them...

"All my life I have never felt this way before for anyone... No one touched my heart as you did...

You are my Friend. You are my Love.You are my Family.

And above all You are my Happiness...

When I am with you... I feel I have everything... nothing matters to me anymore...

I am at Peace with myself, with the world, happy and content.

You inspire me to be a better person... the one I am proud of ...

In short you are everything that is Good and Precious in my Life...

One which I will always treasure , cherish and protect.

I am Yours , always and forever, no matter what.

Nandhini... You are the Love of my Life.."

He saw tears from her eyes... and suddenly her Heart Monitor was beeping furiously...

She pressed his hand and controlled herself.

The nurse came in to see if everything was alright..

Manik nodded... she went away...

"Come near to me ... more" she whispered

She took his face in her hand,struggling to bring it near to hers.

He understood and moved nearer ...

She tenderly kissed his forehead... and whispered... "Manik.. I Love you more than anything in this world... For me you are Love... I am Yours always and forever as You are Mine..."

Manik wiped her tears...

Both smiled seeing the happiness in each other's face...

Manik put his hand to her cheek to support her and slowly bent down to kiss her...

He gently kissed her lower lip... her lips in his bringing forth the memories of their first kiss... only now the sensations were even stronger, he felt weak in his knees as he moved to kiss her upper lip, he felt the tiny movements of her lips in his and it wreaked havoc in places all over his body...

But then Heart monitors of nandhini once again started screaming Loud and broke the enchantment of the Kiss.

Chacha and Chachi came in along with Nurse this time.They were alarmed as to what happened.

Manik assured that all was well awkwardly and asked them to meet Nandhini while he would stand outside.
