{ Humsafars 9th January 2015 Written Update }

The episode starts with Arzoo getting dressed in her bridal attire and thinks that every girl dreams about their prince charming coming along to take them while riding a white horse and she used to sleep peacefully because when her mother used to tell her these stories; she never dreamed about any prince. She then thinks she understood life and love when Sahir walked into her life. She says that before she knew him; she was only living but not breathing but he made her realize what love is. Arzoo then says along with love he made her realize what true hatred is and also made her realize that life is better without love. Myra comes to Arzoo and says she can't believe that she's getting married today. Zara walks in and calls for Arzoo. Myra leaves with Zara while telling Arzoo to hurry up. She walks out of her room lost in her thoughts thinking that she is starting a new life with the one who left her after walking by her side for a while. She looks at Sahir and thinks that her story is not of a prince charming who sweeps her off her feet but her story is the one where the princess gets married to the man who doesn't love her.

Arzoo walks to the marriage altar while Zara and Nausheen walk beside her. She tries her best to show that she is unhappy. Sahir arrives at the altar and Alvira makes him sit at his place. The guests around them start gossiping saying that they feel bad for Zaki who is still a bachelor and his brother is marrying for the second time. Zaki is shown drunk and crying. Anam smirks and tells the guests that they are also confused. Alvira greets the Maulvi Saheb and invites him in asking him to start the nikaah proceedings soon. Kurti Appa wonders how Arzoo agreed to get married to Sahir overnight. Maulvi Saheb asks Arzoo if she agrees to get married to Sahir but gets no reply from her; shocking everyone. Nausheen checks and finds no one sitting on Arzoo's side. She nervously tells Alvira that Arzoo is nowhere to be found. Sahir hurriedly gets up and goes to find her while Alvira pacifies Nausheen asking her not to worry. Zara calls Zaki and informs him about Arzoo running away from her own wedding; shocking Zaki as well. Anam on the other side thinks that Arzoo is fully trapped because she can't decide whom to get married to. Nausheen is shown confused and wondering about what Arzoo actually wants.

Arzoo is shown walking on hot coal in a dargah as she recalls agreeing to get married to Zaki and then Sahir threatening her to marry him. She walks on the coal barefoot and feels pain. She requests Allah to give her strength to face all the hurdles because the chosen life will surely be the cause of her death. She says that Sahir is cruel and nikaah is also business for him. She also says that she has no other option than to marry him even though her own existence is telling her that whatever is happening is wrong but only Allah knows why she's doing what she is. She remembers the happy moments she spent with Sahir and then also recalls the way he broke her heart by telling her about the deal. She recalls Farha asking her to repay the money her mother had taken for Myra's education and also remembers Sahir's offer of giving her anything she demands when she gets married to him. Arzoo says the old Arzoo will die and a new Arzoo will be born from here who will marry him. Sahir and Zaki both arrive at the dargah and ask her to step out of the hot coal. Zaki feels her pain and cries and Sahir also feels her pain but suppresses his tears. Arzoo continues walking and falls on Sahir. He catches her and they have an eye lock while Zaki looks on.

Alvira asks Nausheen not to worry but Anam taunts her. Nausheen worriedly asks Alvira to bring Arzoo home safely and she cries inconsolably. Arzoo tells the Maulvi Saheb that she accepts her nikaah with Sahir Azeem Choudhary. Maulvi asks Sahir is he accepts the nikaah and he replies with 'qubool hai'. Maulvi Saheb declares them as humsafars and says that he has never witnessed the type of nikaah they just had and also blesses them. Zaki is shown hurt and teary eyed.

The guests impatiently ask Alvira if they should leave. Just then; Sahir walks in with Arzoo in his arms and Nausheen notices her injured feet and asks to call the doctor. The Maulvi who solemnized their nikaah at the dargah also walks in with them and asks everyone to congratulate the newly married couple leaving everyone dumbfounded.
