Part 2-

It's Not Over.

He didn't move an inch from the place where they were standing just a few minutes earlier, which to him, felt like hours. He kept staring at the door, as she walked from away from him. It was for good, wasn't it?

She betrayed me after all, she left me at the day of our wedding. But why did she come back then? To laugh at me? At my state? At my loss? Then why was she crying? Why was she trying to explain something? Why didn't I listen to her? Should I have given her a chance to hear her out? Should I have listened to her before lashing out at her? No! No! NOO!

Why should I listen to her now? When she left me, she didn't think about me, my life, my feelings, my family, NOTHING! Now why should I think about her? So what if she has come back now? I am not gonna fall for it again! It was all a drama, a ploy. She did all this for just a bloody revenge!! She played with my feelings! Aarrghhh!! He stood rooted with his bloodshot eyes still fixed at the door...

Why was I still staring at that door? What's the matter with me? Why was I still looking towards that door, like she would magically come back again into my arms? Why I still didn't want to believe she actually left me? Why my heart is not agreeing with my mind? Why did I still want her to stay back? Why her eyes were telling an altogether a different story today? Why I wanted to listen to her? Why I wasn't able to let her go still? Why I was still longing for her? Why I was so relieved to see her back? Why I wanted to just forget what happened and just hold her back in his arms and kiss her senseless? Why??? WHYYY?!!

"Why I fell in love with you Sanamm???!! Why??!" He yelled and threw everything around him in pure frustration. "I hate that I love you so much Sanammm!! I hate that I still love...I hate you Sanam!! I HATE YOU!!!"

He wanted to tear up everything in front of him. He wanted destruction. He wanted to destroy everything that was in front of him, mirroring what the emotions in him were doing right now. His heart was beating wildly, it almost felt it would burst out in his chest anytime and would explode. His whole being was struggling against the longing for her, to be away from her, her thoughts. He cursed at the day when he fell in love with those eyes of her which were creating havoc in him since that day.

Even in this state, he couldn't tear his heart and mind away from her thoughts. It was like a stabbing pain which was slowly making its way to his whole being. He never thought love would hurt so much that the pain for the one you love becomes the only healing source for your bleeding heart. His heart was bleeding, with her, for her, from her. The sole cause of that bleeding being only her, and the sole cause of healing it, being only her again...

An earring falls from his pocket, as he stared at it blankly. He fisted it in his hands trying to feel the pain he was going through, as his hand started bleeding...

"It's all your fault Sanam..."

Elsewhere...

Sanam was lost in her thoughts, with her cheeks stained with the dried out tears and her eyes red with continuous crying. She was worn out and tired, she needed sleep but it was nowhere in her eyes. Things happened just few hours earlier were dancing in front of her eyes. And a face which never seemed to left her mind and heart ever was flashing before her. Those eyes... She thought out of nowhere. Tears started forming again involuntary as she remembered how he said "You are free to walk away Sanam!"

She couldn't believe her ears, what did he say to her. She was so desperate to not believe what he was saying, but her mind took over her heart. She couldn't believe HE asked her to go away from him. Couldn't he have just stopped her? Couldn't he have asked her to stay back for once? "Don't go Sanam. That was all she wanted to hear from him. Was it too hard for him to ask her to stay back? Or did his ego take the better off him again? She laughed bitterly at the thought of that. Was this his love was all about? Was this his trust was all about? Were these were his promises were all about? Such short lived ones? Was he even sure when he said those word to her? I Love You Sanam. She closed her eyes at the thought of that as tears started falling again.

She doubted his love for her? She doubted the fact that she fell in love with him? Was it really all a farce? Did he never ever love her, even for a single moment? The thought itself made her heart break apart in thousands of pieces.

He doubted my love for him in the first place! He didn't even try to listen to me to once! He didn't trust me! It was him who allowed me to wlak away from him! He didn't even try to stop me for once! Why should I explain myself when I haven't done anything! If he doesn't trusts me, doesn't wanna listen to me, what's the point in telling him? She clutched that Taveez in her hand desperately, as if trying to ease the pain...

"It's all your fault Aahil..."

Sunehri staggered back to the orphanage where she and Sanam were staying, when she saw her sitting like this. She was devastated, hurt and broken, but in her heart she knew she deserved this. She saw Sanam and rushed towards her "Sanam? Sanam what happened? You told him everything right? What did he say? Sanam? Say something! Kya hua?" She was confused and worried seeing her in such a state.

"He didn't listen to me Seher. He didn't even give me a chance to explain myself and blamed me for all the things...that I left him at the day of..She trailed off as her voice started becoming heavy with pain.

"What?!! How could he?! He should have atleast listened to you. What kind of love is that if he doesn't trust...

"Seher. I don't wanna talk about this anymore. He himself told me to walk away from his life, I am not gonna go back and ask him to listen to me. If he doesn't wanna listen to me, then what's the point in telling him all this. When he would realise what he has done..he would come back himself."

"But Sanam.."

"But what Seher? Is this is all love is about? Is this is all trust is about? Speaking of which, you do know I am not talking to you, you know that, don't you? I have still not forgiven you Seher."

Seher looks at her sister as tears started forming when she remembered what happened just few hours earlier. She had gone to the temple to confess her crime and what she did to her own sister and vowed to never ever look back to her old life again. Little did she know that Rehan was there too, listening to her confession.

*Flashback*

"Sunehrii!!! I can't believe you did such a horrible thing! And here was I thinking about giving a second chance to you! I have been searching for you since I thought everybody deserves a second chance. Little did I know that what I have been searching for would be in front of MY EYES!!" Rehan yelled at her. He was in utter rage, after listening to what she did with Aahil bhai.

"Rehan please listen to me!"

No! I don't wanna listen to anything now Sunehri! I have already listened what I wanted to. I can't believe you could have stoop so low Sunehri! All this while you were playing with Aahil bhai'z emotions, all for the MONEY!! Why did I think of giving a second chance to you, WHY!!

"Rehan please..list.."She was sobbing profusely.

Rehan was in no mood to fall for her tears. He needed to tell this to Aahil bhai as soon as possible. He was blaming Sanam for all this, for all that she haven't done. He looked at Sunehri with blood shot eyes. "I can't believe I fell in love with you Sunehri. I thought you have changed, but no! Thank god, that I am not turning you into the police this time. You deserve much severe punishment for this. Just forget we ever met Sunehri, just forget you ever knew me!!" He storms off from there for good.

*End of flashback*

Sanam looked at her sister at the other side of her bed. She drifted to sleep while crying. She knew she is her sister, but she still didn't know what her old life was? Oh God! What a mess she is in! Her whole life has changed since she got to know she has a sister who is alive and now who is with her. It's been only a day when they both met, and the mess was so much that they didn't have any time to talk about their own selves. She is happy she is with her now but at the same time she is upset and angry what she did, to her, to him. She is not able to forgive any of them. Her sister - because of what she did. And Aahil - because he never wanted to hear out HIS Sanam, ever! It shivers her to even think what could have happened. Because her sister is to be blamed equally for what she is being going through right now.

She needed some sleep. Her mind was creating havoc and it needed rest. She needs a clear mind what to think and what not. She closed her eyes and her mind again went to its favourite destination - Aahil.

Rehan was in a rage. He couldn't believe what he has just found out. He had gone to meet Sunehri, to give her second chance but what did he come to know was beyond his imaginations. All this while she was acting as Sanam for money?!! How she could have stoop so low? Why had he thought about giving her a second chance? Why the hell?!? He needs to tell this to Aahil before it gets too late. This was so wrong. All this while Aahil bhai was being fooled by someone, he was being played with his emotions and feelings. He felt for Aahil as much as he felt for Sanam now. They both have been played with their feelings. Aahil bhai thinks Sanam has left him at the wedding day which she hasn't because she wasn't even there. But where was she all this along? There were so many questions playing in his mind, but right now the most important thing is to tell Aahil bhai about this.

Rehan entered the house when he saw Aahil in a broken state. He ran towards him as soon as he saw him. "Aahil bhai!! Aahil bhai what happened?" He came running and shouting for what he witnessed, clearly looked like a storm has just come. He came towards him and tried to get him up "Aahil bhai! Please calm down! Please tell me what happened? Aahil bhai..." He held Aahil from his shoulders and tried to get him stand back.

Aahil broke down in his brother's arms. "I hate her! I hate you Sanam..." He trailed off as if he was talking to himself. He couldn't comprehend what actually he was saying.

Rehan couldn't help but started crying himself as he hugged his Aahil bhai. He has never seen him in such a state. He never broke down like this. He never showed his feelings like this. He held Aahil with a lot of questions in his mind about his condition. It broke him even more as he knew the reason behind this now. But Sanam came here? God this is so messed up!

"Aahil bhai, please calm down. What are you saying? Sanam? She was here? When? And where is she now?" Rehan was utterly confused. What the hell did just happen? Why is Aahil bhai crying? If she was here didn't she tell him all the truth? Or did Aahil bhai refuse to believe her? Oh no! He knew his Aahil bhai more than anyone. If this has what happened, it has got to stop now. He had come here to tell his Aahil bhai something he should have known way before, but right now his state is even more worrying. He needs to get his Aahil bhai's mind in working condition first. Aahil bhai was not like this.

"Aahil bhai. Listen to me. Aahil bhai!" He held his face in his hands and said "You need to stop crying. This is not you. This is not what it looks like Aahil bhai! You need to listen to me!"

Aahil looks at his brother. What was his brother on about? He wipes his face and stands up in a jerk. "Rehan, wh-what are you doing..I mean what are you saying? I-I am alright. I just need some time alone. Please go!" He turned his face away from his brother as he knew he would tell in seconds about what he is going through. He never cried like this, especially in front of anyone. This is not him. He needs to get it together. He can't cry like a sissy! What happened to his resolve of not remembering her ever? What happened to his vow of never to fall for her again?

"Aahil bhai, you can't lie to me. I know you better than anyone, better than yourself. You still love Sanam, admit it. You can't drive her away even if you want-..."

"Shut up Rehan! Don't ever take her name again! I hate her! You get that? I hate Sanam! She left me at the altar Rehan! At the day of our wedding, she ditched me, betrayed me! And now she has come back again? For what Rehan? Why has she come back now? To apologise? To explain the reason why she left me? To tell me that there actually was a reason for such bloody thing!" He kicked at the stool in front of him in pure frustration. "I can't forgive her Rehan! I can never forgive her for what she did to me!"

Without even listening to her? Do you really think Sanam will do such a thing Aahil bhai? Is your love for her so weak that you wouldn't even give her a chance to explain herself?"

"You are still defending her Rehan? After what she has done? You think I am crazy? You think I didn't love her? You think I don't want to get her back? You think I didn't want to hold her back in my arms when she came back??" He almost cried at the last words and turned back after realising what he had just spoke.

Rehan's lips curved up a little, in between his tears. His Aahil bhai is an idiot. He still loves her he knew that, he just needed to listen to it from his Aahil bhai's mouth. He shook his head and held Aahil from his shoulders, turning him around. "Aahil bhai, you know you can't lie to me. Even you know that, then why do you even try when you can't." He paused between a little as Aahil looked back to him.

"You still love her, don't you? Don't lie to me again Aahil bhai. I can see it in your eyes, it's written all over your.."

"Shut up Rehan! Fine yes!! I do love her! You wanna hear that only right? Yes I still love her! I love Sanam. I still love her like I always did. I still long for her, like I always... I." He paused a little as the sadness took him over. "Why did she leave me Rehan? Why did she betray me like this? Was..was I not good enough for her? Was my love not enough for her to love me back? I asked her one last time that if she have some doubts, she can still tell me... His voice choked as the words came out from his mouth felt like a piercing pain in heart.

Rehan watched his Aahil bhai and it broke him to see him in such a state. He suddenly remembered the sole cause of this state of him as anger started taking over him. He looked at Aahil "Aahil bhai. I need to tell you something. Something very important. Something you should have known way earlier. Something which would might make you hate yourself more..." His voice suddenly sounded more of a whisper "Maybe me too..." He said in such a low voice that Aahil had to look back up to him.

"What are you saying Rehan? What's the matter?" Suddenly he was more intrigued about what his brother was going on about? Why did he sound so dangerously quiet suddenly? What the hell was he talking about after all??!!

Rehan looked at his brother as he remembered what he just got to know some hours earlier. He turned around as he didn't have the guts to face him anymore and closed his eyes. "Aahil bhai, whom you think was Sanam, she was not. It wasn't Sanam who left you that day Aahil bhai. She was..she was.." He took a deep breath and finally spoke "She was Sunehri."

Aahil looked flabbergasted from what he just heard from his brother. He wasn't able to comprehend what he just heard from him. How is that even possible? Was it some kinda sick joke? "What the hell are you saying Rehan?" He turned him towards himself and looked into his eyes. "What are you talking about Rehan? Would you just come clear about it? She was not Sanam? How is that even..."

"Aahil bhai, please try to understand. It might sound weird, but that's the truth. She was not Sanam, who left you Aahil. She was Sunehri, Sanam's doppelganger, who was acting as Sanam for money, all this while. A con artist." Rehan almost choked while telling this to his brother, he was shivering himself as he saw the hurt and agony in his brother's eyes turning into a fury all of a sudden.

The whole world seemed to just fall apart in front of Aahil's eyes. He felt like he would just blackout any moment now. He held Rehan from his shoulders and spoke in a seething voice "This better not be a joke Rehan, this better not!"

Rehan shakes his head as tears started clouding his eyes. "No Aahil bhai! Its the truth! I came running to you only to tell this as soon as I found about it. I went to the temple...

Rehan finally told him about how all this mess started. How he met Sunehri, how he fell in love with her, how he got to know about her being a con artist, how he almost turned him into police, how he wanted to give her second chance and how he regret all this now after coming to know about this.

Aahil slopped back to the floor as soon as his words sink in. He held his face in his hands and pulled at his hairs. He was frustrated, devastated, torn. He felt like all the pieces of his heart were pricking him from all the directions and the more he wanted to prick them out the more they are getting pricked in him. The pain was piercing, heartbreaking, he felt like death would be much much easier. He wanted to stop this pain but he wasn't able to. He felt like someone is pulling his heart out from his chest in the most gruesome way possible.

He couldn't help but cry for her. What she must have gone through all this while? Where was she all this time? How would have she felt when I didn't want to listen to her? How would she have felt when I wasn't trusting her, blaming her and accusing her of the things she hasn't done, for accusing her of betrayal? Most of all, how she must have felt when I wasn't able to recognise my love? How could I NOT?

He needed some answers, some questions. But first of all he needed to see her. His Sanam. And he is gonna do everything needed to bring her back into his life...

And here's the Part 2 guys, Its about 3.5k+ and is about some revelations and information needed for Aahil to give him the most awaited heartbreak and suffering 😆

The suffering has started and would continue for long, she is not gonna make it easy for him and forgive him so easily.
