In the van RS, Sharadha and Saro feel emotional..
Myna starts to become selfish and says if Meenatchi is here and Saro is missing, Meenatchi will marry Vettaiyan. Myna vows to never let that happen so she decides to send Meenatchi away from here. She persuades Meenatchi to go to find Saro since he hasn't called and that Tamil cannot be persuaded and subsequently Vettaiyan will marry Meenatchi. Meenatchi panics and agrees to leave. She and Myna pass by the sleeping guests and accidentally knocks into some. Finally they reach the entrance. Myna wishes Meenatchi good luck and that she must return in the morning married to Saravanan. Meenatchi leaves. Myna in her mind voice begs for pardon from Meenatchi for being selfish but she says this is the only way to save Vettaiyan for herself. 😭
As Myna goes back she sees that Vettaiyan is awake and coming out to eat a banana. Myna pretends to sleep and covers her face but Vettaiyan realises she is there. Vettaiyan indirectly calls for her to stop her act. Myna comes out and asks what he is doing here. Vettaiyan says he and Meenatchi has to talk about some personal matters. Myna gets angry and refuses to let him saying it is wrong for groom to do this before wedding. Vettaiyan suggests Myna being present but Myna insists and says Meenatchi is asleep. Vettaiyan says he suspects something wrong from Myna's reaction but Myna refuses to say anything. Vettaiyan counts to three for her to tell him but she escapes before that. Vettaiyan also goes back to sleep feeling tired. Meanwhile Meenatchi stops at a temple and prays.
In the van Saro cries. RS and Sharadha are sad.
Meenatchi arrives at Jingunamani's house and asks to see Saro. Jingunamani is shocked. Meenatchi asks why RS, Sharadha and Saro's phones are switched off. Jingunamani at first is silent and worried what to say. She finally says they are not here. Meenatchi tensed and asks where they are. Jingunamani brings Saro's letter and hands it to Meenatchi. Meenatchi hears Saro's voice assuring her that he will arrive on time at the Mandapam as she reads the letter. However she realises Saro is in trouble and asks Jingunamani what is that but Jingunamani says she doesn't know. Jingunamani advises Meenatchi to return to the mandapam as Saro will arrive soon and insists on following Meenatchi there.
Meanwhile Saro still feels emotional and thinks about Meenatchi asking worriedly if he will be there. He starts crying and tears land on the ring. Suddenly, the police van stops at a barrier and the officer talks to the guard. Using this chance Saro escapes from the back door leaving a shocked RS and Sharadha. As the police chase him Saro drops the ring. Screen freezes on the ring on the ground. 😲
