What a brilliant episode! Both yesterday and today, were amazing episodes and probably the best ones I have seen on Indian TV so far. Most shows are so unrealistic and over dramatic, it's so hard to find real gems like these. The whole scenario was realistic and not even a bit dramatic or over the top emotional. It was so perfectly balanced on both ends and both the actors were superlative in their portrayal. Big round of applause to Vikram, who made me cry, with his portrayal.

Vikram, could have easily confessed to Shobha, but he realized that the time was not right. I liked that he told Shobha he doesn't think Samarth deserves her or ever will. But, I also understood why he asked to give him a chance, because it is not easy to dissociate the kids from your personal relationship with your husband. Also, the kids are too young to understand the complexity of divorce. From Vikram's end, I understood his decision. Even though his words were saying something else, his eyes, his tone, his behavior everything screamed of his love for Shobha and I am almost amazed that Shobha did not see through. My heart went out to Vikram, for setting his love free and for unconditionally loving her.

Shobha, who came to find out the truth about Usha's claims, struck me a little odd today. Yes, Vikram did ask her to go back to Samarth, but there is no way that a woman would not have seen through his heart today. Everything in his eyes and tone proclaimed how much he loves her. I would have much preferred that despite his words, Shobha would have seen that glimpse of love in his eyes and understood that Usha was right. She could have gone back to Samarth and then kept playing out Vikram's unconditional love for her versus Samarth's selfish want for her. And then in the course of time understood her own feelings for Vikram.

but here, they showed her to be so oblivious to his pain at letting her go. Vikram and Shobha have developed a relationship where they both can understand what the other person is feeling without them saying it out loud. But, vikram seems to have understood Shobha better than her. She could not understand him today, and she failed as a friend. She can be in denial about it, but today, it was so crystal clear, any woman in her place would have understood the underlying love in his eyes.

Also, she almost looked like she was happy that Vikram told her the right decision was to go back to Samarth. This, after he has cheated on her with multiple women, abused her, tortured her mentally, and literally thrown her out of his life. Even for the sake of the kids, this was a weak move. She should have told Samarth she needed time to think this through. And for some time she would move out of the house and take a break in Mumbai or something. I understand it is hard for a mother, but if a mother is not respected, it will affect the kids too. If husband-wife are not happy, kids will never learn what a marirage is about and what healthy relationships are like. For a longer term, it is important for kids to understand what makes a happy and mutually respected relationship between parents. And her kids are so young, that if they divorce now, and if they handle the kids well enough, they will grow up to understand the circumstances better and will have a happier upbringing than seeing mom unhappy and dad compromising.

Either way, we got to see the different shades of love. Vikram's unconditional love which is as pure as it can get. Letting her for her happiness and the children that he loves like his own.

Shobha's love for Samarth, that she moulded for so many years, but is ready to forgive him for the sake of the children and the love that she finds hard to forget.

Agreed. Thanks for your post. It was out of character for Shobha to not see/feel what Vikram really wanted to say.
Apurva, as an actor did an excellent job at displaying Vikram's emotions. He reminded me very much of Kunal Karan Kapoor from Na bole tum na maine kuchh kaha.

That expression which Shobha gave I cant say it is that of happy when he told her to go it was like shocked I can't do it its against my dignity and self respect BUT for the kids is that what I have to do ???
That half shock half laugh of foolishness something on those lines .. Yes it was painful to see what a golden treasure such a man who is so dignified & a woman like her part ways !!

I do hope they show that Shobha stands with her dignity & self respect & any question which Samarth put she has the guts & stand to talk abt it.. Now she has no right to hear anything against Vikram and sarika will keep poisoning Samarth maybe Shobha will not meet Vikram but if a time arrises she has every right to do so...

Tuff times ahead for Shobha she needs to make evey move every stand clear & all that denial mode should be put off after her own friend Usha tellin her straight talks..

You have put it well!

Brilliant Post. Loved reading it and agree completely.

Apurva was brilliant as Vikram today. The last two days episodes belonged to him.

Shobha disappointed me. As a sensible and mature woman, it beats me why she could not see Vikram's love in all these months. That she needed a friend to tell her so is also very disappointing. Like Usha said she is in denial. What Usha did not say but is my opinion - she was a bit selfish and dishonest also. She owes her life, her happiness, her childrens' happiness to Vikram. She should have the honesty to tell Vikram that she understands and appreciates his love for her and her children but keeping her children in mind she is choosing Samarth over Vikram. That would have been an honest confession of a true friend.

So to me Shobha failed as a true friend to Vikram; she was not honest with him or herself.

But Vikram won all my love and appreciation today for being a true friend, and for his unconditional love and his sacrifice.

Overall very good episodes. Nice storyline.

only in Indian TV shows a heroine can be so blind! lol...

is this even possible in reality? girls have this instinct...they get it even when someone has a crush on them..and here Vikram is so much in love with Shobha...and she can't sense it...unbelievable..

all that Vikram said yesterday... each word of his showed how much he loves shobha...yet shobha doesn't get it..all hail the Indian TV heroine! somethings can never change and dumb TV heroine is one of them!
