If you are asking about Acting then there is no comparison but if you are asking about Star power then again there is no comparison.

Rani hands down in terms of acting. Aish is not even half the actress Rani is.

Acting - Rani. There is no comparison.

Looks - Everyone is going to say Aishwarya, but I beg to differ.

Personality - Both can be bitches and saints. But I'm going to go with Rani.

Star power - Aishwarya

Better performer - Rani

Better dance - Rani

Overall greater brand image - Aishwarya

Aishwarya. She is an allrounder. Looks, acting, dancing, fame, stardom, achievements, reputation-wise.

Rani is a good actress but she doesn't have a good reputation and her stardom waned long back. Looks-wise she isn't ugly but she is not my idea of beauty.

Aishwarya!

Rani is presumed to be a better actor mostly based on Black and now Mardani. But Aishwarya is a better dancer, more star power, more beautiful in my opinion, and more sophisticated for lack of a better word here. Plus I always found Rani to be conniving and manipulative.
