In the month of July I see an article reading about a new show produced by 4 Lions Films. I thought oh another show like IPKKND, Geet, Qubool Hai with the same misogynistic manhandling MLs.
But then my eyes popped out when I read the name of Harshad Chopra. He has always been my favourite television actor in fact I hardly watch Bollywood films. If someone tells me to choose between HC and any other Hollywood or Bollywood actor I could happily jump in his arms. 😳😳
Then in late July I see the first teasers of Humsafars and my heart goes all gaga,
Btw I haven't watched any of 4 Lions's shows religiously like I did for Humsafars. I have fallen in love with it so badly that it affected my lifestyle. I wake up and log in India-Forums just to see the lovely people of this forum talk so much about it. It feels like a home here where I have met such nice people. And now that it is ending that means no more of entering this forum. It will be locked it will be ratingless No chaska meter rating. It hurts. It hurts a lot. 😭\
I have always admired HC he is so amazing and he brings out so much life in his characters. Harshad Chopra will inshAllah get a much better leading role hopefully, and also wish Shivya Pathania as well.
But what about Sahir Azeem Chaudhary?
What about Arzoo Nausheen Khan?
What about SaAz?
We will never get Sahir back. His dard, his personality, the tragic, evil, manipulative anti-hero but the only character we loved so much. No matter how much we abuse him, no matter how much we hate his actions we are always ready to defend him, always ready to wipe his tears. Many compared him to his predecessors ASR, MSK, ARK etc, etc.
But Sahir was Sahir. He was a character that we loved to hate and also hate to love. He was a dream man, a man of few words whose every wish is a command whose broken past has turned him into a stone.
Arzoo Nausheen Khan: Yes she is an idiot, impulsive, arrogant, and a girl without self-respect but when it comes to loving Sahir she did. She loved him and we loved her. The romantic rain scenes, the funny airport convo, the hospital hug, the birthday romantic dance, everything, Who wouldn't want to be in her shoes?😳😳😳 It was with her Sahir smiled, felt comfortable, we got to see the funny nokh jhoks between them😉😉 The chemistry, the passion, the hatred the love everything was just so...😭😭😭
This show had sooo much potential. This show could have been the next hit of Gul Khan's if only Sony tv, the CVs and the PH was cooperative. 😲
I am trembling with so much hurt it just broke my heart. You break your sabbatical vow of not watching tv serials and then you come across such a splendid show. I remember I was so obsessed with the promos that I watched the first episode so many times hahaha.
I don't know why Sony never bothered. I don't know why other people never gave importance. Harshad Chopra (according to me) is the best 4 Lions actor who brought out such a dark character with so much confidence and I will always love him no one can change that. Shivya Pathania you are perfect InshaAllah hopefully you also will get a better show.
Thankyou to all because I will never forget the last few months of my life in this forum. Humsafars will always stay with us...in my phone too. Because I downloaded all the episodes.
