So Arzoo told Sahir off and taunted him about his money obsession being the reason for his wife to leave him...ouch ..that struck a really raw nerve and it was good to see Sahir controlling his reaction...Allah knows how explosive it would have been! 😲.
And Arzoo would have to be totally blinded to not see what her question and misguided answer about his wife did to him!
She went on to lecture him that Zaki was different because he listened to his heart...really??? ..so his heart didn't tell him that he should tell Arzoo about the challenge that was initiated because of him?? Short term memory loss Arzoo?? Sahir just told her that he had a role in the whole thing and she still don't care??
Ok...she doesn't...so that leads to the question...what should be done with the symbols of the 'fake' love of the 'money minded man'??
Throw them at his face??
Keep them in his room??
Return them like she returned the bangles???
Oh no no..Arzoo chose a fourth option...she is not just still wearing it ...but is considering whether it is worth selling to meet her need...😲..and ...dismissing the idea thinking it must be fake!!
Isnt that the lowest of low things to do?? Already she is living in his house and she just slammed him for supposedly caring about money when he came clean to her about why he did everything...and she thinks of selling something he had given also??? Real sign of strength and self respect👏.
And then comes the best part...Zaki hands over money claiming it's his own...let's not even attack that statement...not worth it...and she immediately decides that he is the one she should marry...so what was the criteria there...till the previous night she told herself she couldn't marry Zaki...although he has actually been there for her supposedly many times...so what changed actually when he helped her this time??
She believes Zaki is pure of heart..then shouldn't he spend his life with someone who can love him as purely?.how can Arzoo agree to marry him only to spite Sahir?? Oh it was that alright...her look to Sahir as she hugged Sahir said that...her talking to him while looking scornfully at Sahir said that...it wasn't even to prevent Zakis marriage to Samaira...nothing as noble as that!!!
If Arzoo finds Sahir despicable shouldn't she simply take her family and leave...what kind of hatred is this that manifests in her agreeing to marry his younger brother ...and continuing to live in tbe house that is Sahirs? She knows that Zaki is hardly responsible and lives off Sahir so what would she be doing in the future??
There was no need for Arzoo to marry anyone...she should have said no to both...but her decision and her reasons make it very difficult to sympathise for anything that Sahir might do now!
