Inspector Vestbuster: "I am Inspector Vestbuster from the CUPA, domestic division. Mr. Manik. You are under arrest. Please co-operate and come quietly to the station. You will get one phone call and you have a right for a lawyer."
Mr. Manik: "What? Why are you arresting me? On what basis and on who's complaint? And what the hell is CUPA?"
Inspector Vestbuster: "CUPA stands for "Clothes Under Protection Act."
Mr. Manik: "I never even heard of it.Is this a joke?"
Inspector Vestbuster: "No, Mr Manik. I never make jokes. You would not have heard of it, because it is a very secret division within the police force.Now..if you can come to police station..."
Mr. Manik: "On what charges are you arresting me and who gave the complaint?"
Inspector Vestbuster: "I have heard very disturbing things with respect to you Mr. Manik. You are under arrest for domestic violence."
Mr. Manik: "Domestic violence?"
Inspector Vestbuster: "Yes, one of your vests has complained against you."
Mr. Manik: "Which one?"
Inspector Vestbuster: "Let me see... oh! yes. The Black one. "
Mr. Manik: "My black vest, complained against me? That idiot!! I will kill it."
Inspector Vestbuster: "Now now.. Mr. Manik. No need to make this case easier for us. And also, the black vest is safe in under our protection. You cannot cut even a single thread off it."
Mr. Manik: " But I did not do anything! Just ask him. I took care of him. I washed it every week. I used the best of the detergents. I always choose "Gentle wash" in the washing machine. I always got it ironed. I cannot believe that my own vest would betray me like this."
Inspector Vestbuster: " Well, I don't know what exactly happened Mr. Manik. But I do have the list of incidents which your vest mentioned."
Mr. Manik: "What incidents? Do tell, Inspector. I want to know. Let us settle this once and for all..."
Inspector Vestbuster: "On the day of Diwali, you deliberately fell and your vest got hurt. And you forgot to tend to it..."
Mr. Manik: "Inspector please, you have got it all wrong. I didn't fell on purpose. It was that Nandini who fell on me. What am I supposed to do? Step aside and let the lady fall on the ground? What kind of gentleman do you think I am?"
Inspector Vestbuster: "True. But what about afterwards? Why did you not tend to the wounds of your vest?"
Mr. Manik: "Oh! come on Inspector. Whom will you concentrate on? A beautiful lady in your arms or your vest? Give me an honest reply".
Inspector Vestbuster: "Fine, you made your point. What about the other day when your vest was completely beaten and bruised? Just few days back".

Inspector Vestbuster: "Why did you not rescue it? You are the master, aren't you? "
Mr. Manik: "How can I save my vest, when I was busy with saving myself? Self defence is a crime now, is it? What about the bruises I got?"
Inspector Vestbuster: "Is that so?"
Mr. Manik: "And I did not even get a kiss that day. For all the trouble I went through...for that matter, I am unable to get a single kiss for sometime now. Every time I try, something or someone happens."
Inspector Vestbuster: "You are digressing from the topic Mr. Manik".
Mr Manik: "What? Oh! Oh! Yes. I started day dreaming again."
Inspector Vestbuster: "Whatever! I also have here an incident on new year's eve. You almost got your vest burned in fire. What do you have to say to that Mr. Manik? Will you again blame this on Nandini?"
Mr. Manik: "But, yes! It is Nandini again. I was only trying to save her from the fire. Which law says that you cannot save your lady love from fire? Come on..tell me."
Inspector Vestbuster: "It is indeed a noble deed Mr. Manik. What about the incident where your vest got head ache due to raised voices? It happened just yesterday!"
Mr. Manik: "You tell me Inspector! Your lady, after all the things which happened, says "let us be friends". What are you supposed to do? Will you not get angry? That is exactly what happened."
Inspector Vestbuster: "That is really unfortunate Mr. Manik. I am sorry for what you have been through. But I cannot neglect the abuse which your vest have been through. My duty will not allow it."
Mr. Manik: "What???"
Inspector Vestbuster:"However, the details which you have given me tells that you are not only one who is the culprit..."
Mr. Manik: "Wait just a minute..."
Inspector Vestbuster: "Now I will also have to arrest Miss. Nandini along with you... You can try to get your kiss in the lock up...all the best..."
