Why did Mihika married Ashok?

I used to love mihika mihir Jodi a lot. But really disappointed as they made Mihika to marry Ashok. Was mihika forced into the marriage?

ya she forced na, that stupid ashok blackmailed her.. poor girl.. but now she is really behaving like a dumbo..

Ashok and Suraj staged Suraj to be in coma after their fight with Mihir and Raman. Ashok made a deal with Mihika that if she marries him, he won't get Mihir and Raman in trouble. Later Mihika found out that Suraj was not in coma but it's too late. Mihika's marriage to Ashok is for show but only Ekta knows why Mihika does not come out with the truth rather than stay with Ashok.

So they are legally not married? Just a drama in front of every one?

As far as I understand, they're legally married but I'm sure they can annul it and what not. What I do not understand is why she is acting this way, when she can get the love and support from her family and even mihir . She probably deems herself useless and wants Mihir to get better than her. I don' know.
