Shah Rukh Khan - King Khan ruled the roost this Diwali by ushering in an early 'Happy New Year' for all cinegoers. The movie created history by collecting more than 45 crore on Day One. There was no stopping SRK on the endorsement front as well. Multiple ribbon cuttings, dance masti at weddings and advertisements consolidated Khan's position as the 2nd richest actor in the world.
Fawad Khan - After Imran Khan, no man from across the border has held collective sway over our attention until Fawad Khan happened to India. His chiselled Greek God looks, piercing eyes, rich baritone, neatly side parted jet black hair and expertly trimmed four day stubble made our nation's fairer sex go extremely weak in their knees. Khan became a phenomenon in India after his uber popular serial, Zindagi Gulzar Hai was screened here. Soon 'I love you Fawad Khan' fan clubs sprouted on Facebook and Twitter sphere witnessed a barrage of Fawad Khan hash tags trending regularly. The actor made his Bollywood debut opposite Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat. The movie tanked but women folks went gaga over Fawad and his looks yet again. It also helped that he could act well.
Ranveer Singh - Movie wise Ranveer Singh didn't exactly do anything spectacular. His bromance with Arjun Kapoor in Gunday failed to set the cash registers ringing in a big way. Kill Dil was a colossal flop. But the man still made his presence felt. He dived into the ad world and endorsed a product that other holier than thou superstars usual develop cold feet associating themselves with - Condoms. 'Do the Rex' ala Ranveer style hit the bull's eye and the man garnered much applause from all quarters. "Have sex but safely," said Ranveer through the ad, a pledge that he himself follows in real life with you know who. The enthusiastic actor stole the limelight yet again when he completed Hrithik's Bang Bang dare by dressing up as Krrish and breaking into an impromptu dance number right in the middle of a busy street in Mumbai.
