Love is not a choice. If only are heart could measure out the pros and cons of relationship before falling in love. Unfortunately, love just happens and it is beyond justification and explanation. Once we have fallen, we learn to accept each other for better or for worse. This applies to BOTH Arzoo and Saahir. But since as hard as I try I can connect most with Arzoo let me share my thoughts on her.

It was not like Arzoo did not understand that Saahir was different from the beginning. He was not like the others. That was what intrigued her and kept pulling her closer to him. Though he warned her many times. She knew that he is not the easiest companion. That they were many complications involved in this complex man. What exactly they were no one was ready to explain to her not Alvira, nor Zaki and neither Saahir himself? And what she found out she had never expected.

The man has had a past and it's not just any kind of a past, he has been married for ten years. This idealistic, confident somewhat naive women was not in for this type of a shock. Within this experience she has learned many things. Things are not always what they seem. Life is not simple and uncomplicated. Love is not a beautiful fantasy. It involves equal pain.

She does not want to be the second women. She detests the idea of a second women. The second women has destroyed her life. This was her second time learning that men were capable of betrayal. She was betrayed by her father. She saw her mother being betrayed for the greed of a male heir. She was betrayed for the greed of money.

Arzoo has tough road ahead of her. She can love without choice but being in a relationship is always a choice. Will she be able to see through the emotional manipulation and aggression? What lies beneath all these things? Is it a heart in desperate need of love? Is it an uncompleted soul waiting to be completed?

Even with complete understanding of the other person heart breaks take ages to overcome. Betrayal takes ages to heal. It can take a lifetime to completely be able to trust again. Furthermore all the expectations are from her in this relationship? To heal his pain, to deal with his manipulation and to see through his complexity. Her pain of betrayal that he has given marginalized. Her humiliation of her emotions being toyed with ignored. (In real life like Lesson mentioned many women would probably rather vanish to a different planet. It is why many are routing for Arzoo to leaven Niyammat house immediately. But this is completely Arzoo's call.)

Alvira dear, where do I start? Despite being able to provide no guidance to her son how to handle difficult situations in a constructive manner she can only see things through his eyes only. Probably why she never told Arzoo her son was a married man? Arzoo would have back down a long time ago and none of this would have happened.

Her conversation to Arzoo today basically went like this, I thought you were going to be my miracle worker but you weren't. I thought you would easily accomplish in a few months what I failed to accomplish in the time span of a seven years but you gave up at the first obstacle. This was no easy obstacle and no it was not the first obstacle Alvira. Arzoo went through many ups and downs in her relationship with Saahir beforehand and it was no easy ride.

I agree she might have had expectations from Arzoo and might be disappointed. But she could at least have started off with "I can understand your pain" or "You have gone through a lot and I know its very difficult." She made Arzoo feel that backing down like this was because of her own failure in being able to keep Saahir happy and incapacity to see through his complexities. I was disappointed in Arzoo for not having the last word here either and returning the kangan quietly. This was always her flaw she easily fall into Alvira's manipulations and get herself insulted by Saahir time and time again. Until she got herself insulted and betrayed in the worst possible manner. Still Alvira expects more from her miracle worker.
