Okay guys. I missed the re-run so I'm going to writing from memory.
The episode starts with ocourse Triveni screaming about how the Bharadwaj khandaan has done injustice to her and her family. Ammaji is shocked and confused and doesnt know what Triveni is talking about.
Triveni asks the Pandit to tell her what are the three ways set for a widow by religion. Pandit ofcourse says all the three ways, third one being that the widow can marry her brother-in-law. Alakh is a little confused at this point. Ammaji says, well ofcourse, and that is why Triveni ji I came to your house to ask for Shagun's rishta. Alakh is shocked to hear this!
At this Triveni says, well I understand that you want this rishta to happen and ofcourse I am more than willing to do it as well but does your own family even value your opinions? your sons, daughters and daughter-in-laws, do they value your judgement? Ammaji doesnt know what to say. Ammaji's son, his wife and sister come and stand by Ammaji and say that we will answer your question. The son says, that whatever Ammaji says goes and we respect all her opinions.
Triveni says, well you guys might agree with Ammaji but what about Alakh. Ammaji turns to Alakh and asks her if she doesnt agree with her. Alakh with her hands folded says to Ammaji that she respects ammaji a lot but she cannot agree with this decision of hers.
ammaji is shocked and confused. Alakh says that i have seen dreams of gtting ym daughter married again but not to shakti but to somebody else. At this point the stupid ugly pandit starts talking and says that something that is accepted by everyone in your family and everyone in society why is that not acceptable to you?
Anyhow, the argument gets to the point that the pandit says that Shagun shud come and explain herself. Shagun's cousin gets Shagun. Shagun is scared. She is shocked to hear that they are talking about getting her married to Shakti.
She says she cant marry Shakti. Triveni starts saying why not? what is wrong with my son? etc. The pundit starts talking and now he brings up Shagun and abhi's relationship. He evn shows a picture of abhi and shagun and the police in the newspaper to Ammaji. He says that Shagun had an affair with abhi before she got married and she is still continuing it today. So the only reason she doesnt want to marry Shakti is because she is in love with somebody else (OH what a crime!!!). Shagun is crying and says to Triveni that why are you doing this to me? Please tell these people that this is not true. Triveni says oh i really wish I could but infront of all these people I cant stand by you and your lies.
Shagun finally bursts and says that th reason she cant marry shakti is because he tried to rape her. Ammaji, triveni and shakti are all shocked. Triveni says this sis ridiculous and Shagun is lying. Triveni says shagun has no proof of this.
Alakh says I am the proof. And she says to ammaji that remeber when I left during Dev's havan (?). What mother leaves at such a time? I had to leave because i cud hear shagun screaming.
The pundit says but why havent you ever mentioned this before? (yeah Alakh😡) Ammaji says the same thing. She says how come you dint tell us when something this big happened. Alakh has no answer and neither does shagun.
it is time for ammaji to make a decision. Ammaji first apologizes to everybody and says that there has been a lot of blaming without proof today. wkThen she walks up to Triveni and with her hands clasped infront ofher face, asks for her forgiveness and says that she approves the rishta of Shagun and Shakti!
End.
So finally Alakh's stupid secrecy came to bite her in the rear. I wish she had just told her family everything in the first place.
