The male lead of Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Taher, has been using two identities one as an actor and another as a director and producer.
This has been creating a lot of confusion in the industry as well as among fans. Taher says, "Yes, lately there has been a lot of confusion regarding my name.
So, I would just like to clear the air. I have two identities. When I'm directing or producing a show, I use the name Taher Mithaiwala, which is my actual name.
But as an actor I use the name Taher Shabbir, as I had promised my father I would use his name when I become an actor. Both fans and people from the industry have been confused for a while now. I hope this helps clear the air."
