Is it the script or the acting that's more important?

What about when the script is great but the acting is just below average?

Like I'm a DhrulYa/MaNan/MaNanBir/ManBir/ManRuv/AbhIni fan and all the other ships that are on board, but it just frustrates me when actors are not on the same level as the script [or when the script is not on the level as the actors].

I want to feel for Navya, (and on paper, I do) but I feel like she's just written as this one dimensional character that even Veebha is stuck as playing her like that. I get so annoyed by her, and she hasn't had enough depth for me to feel for her.

Harshad. This could have been such a good villain! But damn. Abhisekh just falls SO flat. The only scenes I like of him is when he's with Alya, but it still doesn't take away the bad acting especially when he's against Fab 5.

DhruLya. Like babes, I love you guys but Kris and Utkarsh, you guys need to step up your game. I think the script they get is great, so that their weaknesses are hidden, but I know without that script, they'd be below average. Utkarsh needs to improve his voice modulation, I don't know whether he's just trying to portray Dhruv as shy or what, but sometimes I can't even UNDERSTAND [hear] what he's saying. It's like with Abhi, he's such a great character but the actor is just bad. I dunno, I think that's just me.

Parth and Niti are great as their characters even if I did feel Niti was awkward in the beginning [like when the show started] but she's so brilliant these days. I did feel like Parth was just off during the whole hospital track, and even the script was just average. I think he was much better during the beginning of the show. Also, can their clothes/appearances get better please?

Ayaz as Cabir is just perfectly cast! I love him because he's able to show these layers. But can someone PLEASE make him look more younger, [like an actual teen] he looks so older these days!

Mukti. I think the only time I started to like her was when the drug plot happened. Charlie really pulled up her game then. I just want her to stop being caked in make up and those ugly crop tops.

I hope I wasn't biased or anything, nor offended anyone. These are just MY views. :]

i agree with u uttu nd kriss r better nd i also think uttu just need to be louder!!!nd kriss i luv her voice modulation althogh she doesnt knw much hindi she is dng grt but lil more jardwork the she will b perfect!!!

Niti she has come a long way nd improved alot!!nd abt Parth i just luv his expressions😆

and Niti badly need a wardrobe change!!!

Zain as abhi as he is new to tellyworld he has to do more work but still he is dng better!!

Veebha and Ayaz they r the seniors of all nd they r perfectionalists!!!

specially Ayaz i love him!!from his 1st serial he is dng grt!!!

and Charlie i think she needs a gud hair dresser actually she luks gud with her original hair that red think in her heard urgghhh it sucks!!but i think she is dng grt!!!😳

exactly abt dis i felt the same..something felt flat entirely in the hospital track...u r right he was much better at the beginning...i felt a disconnect from the part where manik said "u and i cannot b normal" and the part where nandu was trying to do things like intentionallly falling on him..caressing his cheek..etc...i duuno wat i expected some better reactions from manik

I do think that Kris is better than Utkarsh, and her Hindi has improved so much! But yeah she just needs a little bit more hard work to be better. Utkarsh. Sigh. I know he's good because Dhruv is so different to Utkarsh, but like HIS voice modulation! >.<

Abhisekh. 😆 Poor guy.

I love Abhi! He's such a sweetheart! But I think Zain acts much better in scenes with Niti than others.

I don't get the fake hair on Charlie. 😆

MaNan were definitely at their worst during the hospital track. Everything was such a mess.

Parth just seemed like he couldn't be bothered.

Not that I blame him, I mean the script was rough anyway. 😆

yeah ur rite kriss is better than uttu!!but still uttu is better in somethings like he is such a jolly nd full on entetainment but dhruv he is soo shy!!

yeah Abhi's scenes with nandhu is better!!nd Charlie i hate that red thing on her jair!!

harshad's char was written quite well upto musicana after that his char went down hill...even with abhishek's not so good acting his scenes were gud except with navya...navshad is pure bore... i liked his chemistry with charile and krissan... now he is just a typical villian... if he was planned as a full black char then they should have cast someone who can make the audience hate him instead of getting irritated by him... example recently sadda haq[ sry for mentioning other show but other than kyy shq is the only show i watch regularly] had a char called rajveer i hated him but the guy who played him acted quit well.

mukti- i think she is the only char who has not grown till date... if we watch epi 1 and epi 114 she is still the same... her char growth is slower than a snail... also they really need to tone down her make up... charlie looks like she just came out of a horror show...

dhrulya - inspite of their poor acting they make me happy... they are cuteness overloaded... i like krissan's voice.its very sweet... they have good chemistry together and their scenes are written quite well... both of them are the least experienced out of the whole cast so give them some more time.they are improving...

manan - i love them bt at times i do fell that some of their scenes are just for the sake of it...

about costumes this is an indian show and the budget is very limited. comparing to other shows kyy's costumes are way better...

cabir- i agree on every thing u said.. ayaz's age is showing on his face...

navya- veebha is a fab actress and she is wasted n this show. miss navya from initial episodes. she was funny not irritating... now i dont even care if she is pregnant or not. i cant tolerate navshad...

I've blocked Harshad out of my mind that I can't even remember how he was lol. I do feel like he just became a full out villain all of a sudden and I didn't even understand it because of the actor. NavShad would have been good, if only Navya was so one dimensional and stupid. And yes IF only they casted someone who was good at being Harshad. it's like Manik and Harshad are supposed to be equals right? But Parth is a much better actor than Abhisekh that there's an imbalance between the two in their scenes.

And I somewhat agree on Mukti? I know she's reaching out to Navya, but like I still think she's still the same Mukti. Esp when the scene where Soha made Nandini their manager and Mukti was the last to agree. Dude.

The script is very important. A tight script works wonders for a show. But for me personally, acting is more important. You can have the best story in the world on paper but if it cannot be translated onscreen because of subpar acting then your show has failed.

initially i used to like harshad alot.. he was a perfect grey char but they completely ruined it by making him an out n out villian... his char has a lot of loose ends... in intial epi it was shown that he still cared about mukti and never used navya physically.. navshad was all in navya's head... he once made it clear to her than he only likes her as a friend... also he never used or try to manipulate alya...now all harshad can be is a pain in the ass... i think indian shows are bad with gery char... they never stay grey for too long either they turn goody goody two shoes or the bad guy... also mtv shows give more importance to gud luks than acting ... example abhishek and zain both are gud luking but lacks acting skills... atleast zain is new but abhiskek has done tons of shows before and the makes know his limits still they casted him... thank god parth learned acting else manik would have also been a pain in the ass... he was really bad in his bff days...

people like abhimanyu coz he supports manan... if he was a thread to manan no one would have liked him... zain is lucky...

mukti is reaching out to navya coz harshad is involved... if navya was involved with some other jerk i dont think mukti would give a damn... also in the past she also played with a lots of guy's feelings... example that jr pandit... just because guys dont get pregnent or dont have suicidal tendency like her doesnt make her better than harshad... i like abhi but dont see any chemistry between mukbi... she and navya both need character development asap... i dont really care for these two girls...

dhruv- i think utkarsh has problem with english and normal hindi... i dont know how to explain it but the way he speaks hindi is different compared to others... intead of mujhe he says mereko and all that... may be thats why his dialogue delivery is bad...

alya- i think out of all the char she has the best char development... initially everyone thought that she may be the biggest thread to manan's luv story but she turned out to be a sweet girl... i liked the way she talked to navya last epi.. she was kind and caring even thought she didnt have to be..she is also kind of ok with nandu now... mukti is the only one who dont like nandu and i dont dont why. if anyone in fab5 who has a reason to not like nandu that's alya and she is fine with her.. alya is my 3rd fav char in kyy along with cabir...

nandini- i think out of all the cast except ayaz and veebha niti was better from the begining... her burst out after the punch was really gud also her drunken scenes... i liked her from the begining itself...

manik - when i saw the promo song of kyy and it kind of made obviouse that parth was the main lead i thought gud luking guy with zero acting talent but he surprised me... i used to watch bff for like 1 or 2 weeks coz of him but his acting disappointed me... now he is too gud.i like him alot as manik... no complaints at all...
