"I don't want to be anywhere without you.
You told me once that I was your game changer,
but the thing is, you're mine too.
It took me a little time to realize that, but I finally did.
You're my game changer.
Because nothing else matters if you're not with me."

Raman and Ishita's unusal journey of marriage reached a milestone today...they had taken their marriage vows on their wedding day where in the only promises they made was to their common love: their daughter Ruhi. Today they stood at the threshold of new year with his past trying to again come between them...he understood her insecurity, her effort of trying to put up a brave face despite feeling uneasy about the whole 'wedding anniversary' of his previous marriage shoved onto her face. One day as he had promised her that they would make memories of their own..

Today he took step in that direction by wiping a memory of past in the calendar of their life with one that promises their journey forever...together..with him by her side. He made promises that surmount to wedding vows a couple take. I was just so blown by it...can't remeber all the dialogues as I was in a zone where in soaked in the feelings...

Loved loved the scene...though wish it was not intermingled with Shagun drama...but everything Raman said today spoke of the love he feels for Ishita and like he said, though he gave her his family heirloom ear rings...their bonding is one of the heart which doesn't need any material validation.

I had to detach myself from the rest of the episode and watch this whole scene ...and the love that was palpable in every gesture, words uttered or expressed through eyes. just beautiful.

I will vent in the other thread...this one is about Ishra and their mohabbatein

The scene touched me...dont know whether my words did justice to it or not. I wish Doc was here to help me 😳

P.S. Divyanka and Karan. It's a testament how good they are that just for scenes like these..some of us are still sticking by YHM

Love doesn't need any material gifts... Raman said that later when Ishita said that few moments ago... She didn't want another surprise after getting that assurance... Raman wanted to give that to her when his past was steadily disturbing their paradise...
Those words...it had everything. Ishita didn't want to show her vulnerable side to anyone but the connection between Ishra doesn't need these words... "Dil ka rishtha"... Raman was there... To celebrate his anniversary with his love... These words were to give Ishita the much needed energy to fight this battle...

Shagun's betrayal made RKB but Ishita's absence would ruin this man as a whole... He told her everything... When Shagun is trying to loosen some knots, Raman is tying them even more stronger... Hero is submissively playing his part now...

After a long time, i loved one episode in YHM. Mihika doesn't deserve any sympathy... She's punishing her family not Ashok... Hope cv's things work on it soon... Because, this track must merge with Shagun's drama... Can't take her in Bhalla house for long... Disgrace to motherhood...

Loved those collages Gan...

Gan, wonderful collage and fabulous post.
Payal...quotes are so apt.

"Love seeketh not itself to please,
Nor for itself hath any care,
But for another one who gives its ease,
And builds a Heaven in Hell's despair"
-William Blake
First of all, Raman whole-heartedly gave his daughter to her. Claimed her to be his princess' mother, no one could utter a word against it, even Ishita herself. Later, he wished she could be his son's mother too...he felt it long time back...voiced out to her, now he wanted her to be his son's mother. Today he threw himself into her arms. In all these dramas he don't want to see her sad, he at any cost don't want to lose her. In his mission of achieving his son's acceptance and love he don't want to lose her love...he never want her to be insecure at any cost.

The moment he felt that she is not fine, he came towards her...he crossed the threshold, stepped towards her, shed all the past memories...began to make his present his past...such that in his past too Ishita remains...without a tinge of Shagun in his life. He relived their marriage vows once more...this was more than enough for her...he stepped forwarded to hug her...taking away all her insecurities...gesturing to her that he loves only her, no one can be in his heart...he could love no one other than her.
He then gave the earrings to her, he himself wore it to her, that simple gesture said it all...Today he understood what is love, Ishita taught him. When he first gave her the gaudy necklace, he said that she will faint seeing this...at that time that was his ways of expressing a lovely gesture...that Shagun taught...the materialistic gesture. But today he took back those words...he told her that nothing is needed to express their love...no materials...what Ishita taught him...today he became Raman Ishita Bhalla...He once asked her whether she liked that necklace or not...she said that gesture was sweet and thoughtful. And today he knew what her wife likes and what not.

As regarding Adi, Raman and Ishita can never ignore Shagun...because they too are living in the facade just as Adi lives...that Shagun loves Adi. Whether it is Raman or Ishita, they still strongly feel that Sahun loves Adi...they always says that. The moment they realize that Shagun does not love Adi, they will act...act just as parents do...am actually waiting for that moment.

Once again Gan wonderful post.
Sorry for being late...
Wanted to post on your other thread too, but personal life kept me busy Gan

RES... Because I've fallen in ❤️ with them all over again, because I want to see a gushy G post again and because this was yet another episode where I cursed my lack of Hindi knowledge. 😆

---EDIT----

What truly ISHRAlicious moments... so beyond perfect I am floating right now!

All of you have done a beautiful job of dissecting the beauty of the scenes and those words.

One of the things I loved is the way he caught her hand as she moved away before he started his promises- their position when he held her struck me. It's probably the romantic in me but it totally reminded me of the position that a bridal couple is in as they walk around the 'Agni' (the fire) in a Hindu wedding. Maybe it wasn't exactly the same but with them in that position and her looking back that's what it hinted at for me and for the content of that conversation and the promises that followed I think that works!😆

How is this man so PERFECT?

As for the earrings, I love the symbolism of them and the fact that he put them on her... reminds me of the uber gaudy set he put on her after she convinced Toshi to let Ru attend Shagun's wedding- what a sweet connection between two beautiful moments when RKB talks of his immense love for his Madrasan.🥳

Loved the counter points between Shagun talking about the material things Raman gave her and Raman saying how those things don't mean anything in the ISHRA relationship.

Not going to talk about the mother from H***... and her attempts at recruitment of an overly impressionable boy ...gonna stay in ISHRAland!😃

The little joke with the earnings, the way she admired them and the way he admired her... god SERIOUSLY how is this man so perfect?

Also Toshi's comments when they came down and the look on Raman's face more than Ishu's just shot me through the heart... I am seriously in love with these two all over again!

I knew that closed door yesterday was a fluke- seriously these two will just never learn!

Also, in respect to everyone's mood after watching the OLVs, all I want to say right now is to stay positive... in the end this is all about ISHRA. 😊

Keep calm and love ISHRA ladies & gents!🤗

Ishra scene was beyond beautiful. Raman words made my heart go crazy. I watched again at 11. And yes Shagun rant should not be mixed with such touching Ishra scene. Very beautiful post & collage as always Gan.

Beautiful Caps and Collages Gun
Loved absolutely loved Ishra scene
though it was interruped by shaguniya and had to bear seeing her black face 😡 but nonetheless it was incredible
Loved how ishu couldn't bear to hear about him and shagun moments from raman and wanted to leave from there
But but it was beautifully shown the way raman held ishu hand and stopped her
Each and every promise he made has already and is been fulfilling loved those promises made by him
And ishu face expressions tears and love in her eyes it was worth watch
loved the way raman initiated the hug and ishu appreciated by hugging him tightly
and his one liners and their little nok-joke was superb fittable here
Haha him teasing her about 'I love...earrings' haha and the way she hit him ❤️ and then him indirectly confessing 'aur earrings pehne wali bhi' wow superb line and they again hug
Fantastic it was one of epic moments of Ishra

And shagun grrr she is falling low day by day scene by scene
Complaining to Adi how ishu snatched raman from her and also earrings such a disgusting woman she is hating her tonsee her onscreen
and when everyone leaves for party she again complains to Adi that raman didn't wish her..duh woman which anniversary...both Adi and shagun forgot the word divorced? Khair shagun ka toh pata hai she knowingly to manipulate Adi she is doing all this but Adi...this kid is not that kid to not to understand the word divorce or that his parents are been separated
I am again not liking Adi knowing he is going to make ishu cry shouting at her in the party
and Mihika grrr can she fall lower than this it was so cheap and dirty...she is getting in to shagun category for me...ah grr don't want to talk further about her...

And as per SBS shagun will go away leaving Adi at Bhallas for some time well I think it's one of her plan as I guess she won't be able to do much at the party to harm ishu so she will go away but not before manipulatimg Adi fully she will maybe train him as well on how to make ishu away from raman by staying with raman all the time and making her lier in front of all by doing all sort of dirty tricks
It won't be easier for ishu to handle Adi
Just hope like raman promised her to stand with her in any situation he stands by her even when Adi tries to play this trick after shagun and hopefully he doesn't get into Adi manipulation..and jald se realise kare ki he has been manipulated by shaguniya

Awww, the vows, the looks, the promises, the hugs, the love.
Forget the rest, forget that screechy fakey Shagun, I am so in love with this scene. Puttar just nailed it. I love Puttar ❤️

😳 😳 ☺️

Thanks G for the lovely collages ❤️ ❤️ You captured the essence of both scenes just perfectly - the pain in her eyes, the remorse in his, his stopping her when she tries to escape by holding her hand, the vows, the hug. Then the earrings, the soft caress on her face, again the hug. Really love your perspective.
