Vikram, at work wants to propose to Shobha and asks if Saarika spoke to her anything, Shobha says Saarika didn't tell anything and starts to cough, Vikram who was about to propose to Shobha, tells her to go home and get rest.
Saarika calls Shobha to tell her to come home soon as a surprise awaits her, Shobha is confused, later Vikram literally forces her to leave for the day
On the way back home, Vikram, on the persistence of a sales guy, purchases Jasmine car freshener for, Shobha likes it.
Samarth, is hearing the conversation of two cops, who discuss how life is void without wife and kids, after all they are man's identity and complete his life. Samarth has flashes of his demand for Shobha to sign divorce papers and then he has flashes of happy family times before he was arrested and realizes that he has created a mess out of his life with his anger and misses jiyu and rehaan.
Saarika, Jiyu, Rehaan and Sharada mom are excited to go to the mall and plan to have fun and food, Shobha comes home, Jiyu and Rehaan persuade her to come with them, Shobha agrees to join, but Saarika says Shoba should rest else her health would worsen, Sharada mom agrees with Saarika, they all leave .
Saarika calls Shobha and tells her to get her jeans from the railing as she has left her 2 lakh worth Solitaire ring in it and is Abhay's last memory. Shobha was walking towards the balcony, Saarika does her countdown and assumes Shobha is dead and laughs hysterically. But at the same time, Vikram calls Shobha so she goes inside to take his call, Vikram asks about her health and says he would visit them to spend time with kids.
Saarika wants to confirm her plan is not failed and calls Shobha hoping the phone goes unanswered, which means Shobha is dead, but to her shock, Shobha answers the call and tells Saarika she is going to get her ring now as earlier she came back to take Vikram's call. Shobha walks into the balcony and was trying to take the jeans, but it was clipped, Vikram walks into the elevator, Shobha in the process to remove the jeans, steps on the lubricant and falls on the railing, which falls to the ground while she is hanging onto the edge of the balcony .
Shobha screams for help, Vikram who was about to knock the door hears her screams and breaks open the door and runs to balcony on hearing her voice, he pulls her up and saves her, Shobha hugs him . Sharada mom hurries Saarika as they are done with all rides and food. Shobha looks down at the crashed railing on the ground and in shock, she says Thank You to Vikram and cries and hugs him with Ajeeb Daastan track in the background.

A neighbhor Mr.Chadda yells at Shobha, for their railing was about to fall on his head, and threatens to sue them for negligence . Shobha is scared, Vikram comes down to talk to Mr Chadda and explains how Shobha missed a mishap where she would have been dead, Mr Chadda says there should be a "no tenant" clause and tells Vikram to stay out of it as everyone knows whats his relation with Shobha, Vikram is angry and shows few flaws of Mr Chadda as well. Meanwhile the cops arrive.
Cops check the balcony and ask routine questions to Shobha like any repairs done anywhere in the house etc, and says that it was not an accident, as all screws were unscrewed at once and there is a motive attached to this crime, Vikram says it could just be an accident, but cop says it's not accident but a deliberate attempt by someone.
Sharada mom comes back and is shocked to see the cops, Saarika is shocked to see Shobha alive, Vikram updates Sharada mom with the details of what happened, Sharada is shocked and thanks him for saving Shobha who is precious for them. Shobha still in panic remembering the moment, kids hug her , Sharada mom thanks Vikram once again. Saarika asks why are the cops here ? Vikram says Mr. Chadda of 2nd floor filed a case for negligence as the railing was about to fall on his head.
Vikram tells Sharada mom how the cops suspect foul play in this. Cops ask routine questions of any suspects or unusual happenings, Sharada and Shobha deny any suspicious activities, Cops ask about Saarika, Shobha says she is her sister in law, Cops asks her why she is here, Saarika says she came here after her husband's death. Vikram walks the cops out, Sharada mom points out how Abhay had a similar accident with the railing, Saarika is scared, Shobha says Vikram sir and she share a special bond, because of which he always is there for her every time she is in problem. Saarika leaves from there
Saarika in her room, is annoyed and fierce that her plan failed and Shobha are Vikram are coming close each time she tries to separate them and decides to be careful next time as her actions shouldn't lead the cops to Abhay's file. She was thinking with vengeance as how to get rid of Shobha no matter what.
In the parking lot, Vikram asks if inspector really suspects a foul play, inspector says he suspects a foul play in it and tells Shobha shouldn't be left alone at any time, she should be protected at all times. Vikram asks why would any one want to kill Shobha, the cop says the reason for most of the crimes is Jealousy
Vineeta's plan backfires when Garu decides not to go in for abortion and tells a mom is a mom, the day she conceived, but a dad becomes dad, the day he holds the baby and says Sanju will forget everything and be happy once he sees the baby. Vineeta is upset about it.
Jiyu, calls Garu and asks many questions regarding baby and why babies are in mom's tummy and not dad's tummy, Garu patiently answers her and later during their conversation, Jiyu informs Garu about Shobha's accident. Garu is shocked.
One, Mr.Tiwari, comes to meet Samarth and says he is the one who got ticket from Samarth's constituency and the party has written him off, people have forgotten him and his political career is dead and asks him to give all the information about his constituency, Samarth taunts that guy for not having any info regarding the constituency and tells him to leave.
Saarika in her room is cursing herself for the failed plan and decides to think of another plan for Shobha and Shobha comes to Saarika's room, Saarika tells Shobha to rest and says she is glad she is safe and what would have happened if it was jiyu or rehaan, shobha is scared with the very thought, and says today Vikram literally saved her life and says how he is always there for them.
Saarika adds that he never even notices her, Shobha says he sees a changed Vikram sir who is almost ready for a relation and wonders why he isn't talking to Saarika. Saarika says it's because of her, as in Shobha is always there for him in professional and personal life, Shobha says she is there as his friend and there is a difference between friendship and love and later Shobha apologizes for she couldn't get the ring, Saarika says that her being safe is more important than the ring. Shobha says she is very happy that Saarika is here to stay with them and starts coughing and says she sees a good friend in Saarika, Saarika tells her to go and sleep, Shobha leaves, Saarika thinks she would cough the same way as now and then her best friend wouldn't be there to save her
