prithvi fought with anagpal

i was just reading my history book wen i camEacross something i thought i'll share

TO THE NORTH EAST OF THE CHAUHANS WERE THE TOMARS. THEY RULED IN HARYANA AND REGION AROUND DELHI. THE TOMARAS BUILT THE CITY OF DHILIKA. LATER THE CHAUHANS DEFEATED THE TOMARAS AND ANNEXED THEIR KINGDOM.😕 IT WAS A PRINCE OF THE CHAUHAN DYNASTY PRITHVIRAJ III WHO IS THE HERO OF THE FAMOUS BALLAD PRITHVIRAJ RASO BY HIS COURT POET CHANDRABARDAI.

I THOUGHT THAT ANNGPAL (Tomar) GAVE PRITHVI (Chauhan) THE THRONE WITH HIS OWN WISH

The famous stories of Prithviraj are taken from the book "Prithviraj Raso" written by his friend and poet Chandarbardai. Prithviraj Raso is the basis for the TV serial "Dharti Ka Veer Yoddha - Prithviraj Chauhan".

But historians, based on their findings, do not agree with many of the things written in Prithviraj Raso.

well....was Anang Pal really a Tomar???....

I mean...they could be talking abt someone else...

but then again....wasn't prithvi GIVEN the region around delhi by anang pal....

i think they are some other tomars...i also read abut it some where the rising of chauhan dynasty...
according to the book tat i hav:
the firstimportant ruler was Visaldeo[1153-1164] he captured delhi from tomars who built dhillika[delhi] in 736.

well history not my forte, i just believe what they show or what my teacher tells me, 😆

no it is clearly stated

prithviraj chauhan defeated the tomaras and annexed delhi
