James and Lily! Eventhough I like Snape more than James!

i don't kno why...but i don't think lily and snape would ever make a good couple...no matter how much he loved her...he loved the dark arts the same...and if he got her...he would NOT change!! soo him gettin seperated from his love because of dark arts made him change!! it made him WANT to and CHOOSE to change...and the choices we make are waht matters!

so i think for snape to realize his mistakes...and for him to become a better person...lily had to be james! 😳

and plus...james and lily were always meant-to-be!! 😉 ...and...james NEEDED lily for him to change!! if he hadn't got lily he would REMAIN as arrogant as ever!!

so i think all in all...snape not getting lily made him a better man...and james getting lily made him a better man!! (i kno this sounds weird...buh that's how it was!! 😊)

ohh the hot topic of the world has finally touched this forum 😆 😆

welll i would rather be honest... 😛...when i first read Prince's Tale, i was indeed left with a troubled and very very purturbed mind something didnt seem right....and that feeling stayed till the end of the book...i mean i wanted to like Snape's love and everything he did for that love..but smehow i cldnt...

the question that haunted me was if Snape hadn't turned a Death Eater would Lily still have chosen James...?...and you can call me naive or an idiott to have ever doubted James/Lily perhaps because i missed the quite evident conncetion between their patronuses...a stag and a doe... 😳...patronuses have always been a symbol of deepest love...and hence it realy leaves no scope for a romantic inclination between snape and Lily....and am rather more at peace to think that Lily chose James coz she wanted to be with him coz she really truely loved and not coz of a compramisal exchange over a friend turned severely wrong.....and one of my moooooost fvtt part of the book is Lily's letter to Sirius...i loved it not only coz it was well written but coz perhpas it was the first inside glance into the world of James and Lily and to me everything seemed happy and full of love..thats why perhaps i was so upset after reading about snape...and as said above James any day was a better man..he might have been outrageously arrogant and pompous at schol but then so what..no man is supposed to be a perfectionist even dumbledore wasnt...but like him James also changed and the most important fact he knew the differance between good and evil..and he had gallantly fought fr the greater good eventually sacrificing his life for his wife and son...while Snape..well as long as he got Lily..he would indeed have allowed harry and james being murdered..the fact remains that had snape not loved Lily or rather had Lily not died...he would have continued to be a glorious Death Eater...its only lily's love and her death that made him realize what he had lost..agreed Jo has gone to all possible extent to showcase that love is the sole power to vanquish evil..and i definately bestwo snape with all his due credit...yet it cant be forgotten that his base itself was wrong....
