Yup, Maan Bai is Salim's cousin. I don't know how that happened because it's not allowed in Hinduism. As per history, it was Jodha Bai who arranged this marriage.

Salim and Maanbhai are not direct cousins per Se.

Maan bhai is Maan Singh's sister, Bhagwan das's daughter. Bhagwan das is brother of Jodha. So Hinduism does allow marriage between sister and brother's children even in today's terms. Yes am sure Jodha had a big hand in Salim's first marriage.

Yup and these kind of marriages are comman in south sides of india and they consider father's side kula,kotra (etc etc) only.
