I am so amazed at this serial that I don't know what to say!
The storyline so far is gripping and yet touching- Seema Biswas is such an incredible actress that she appears to be a "regular" person, not acting at all. The bhindi scene was so sweet (where the vegetable vendor gives her bhindi as he spies Rudr on the boat).
The intertwining between fantasy, fiction and reality is simply awesome.
I remember reading the Amar chtra katha on Garuda decades back and watching the first few episodes brought it all back to me.
The idea of "Amrit" the ultimate search for mankind- eternity has been a constant quest for all of humanity. To make that the primary theme of this serial is simple genius. Kudos to the producers, directors and script writers for this inspired storyline.
Awaiting more episodes for months to come...

well yes the concept is new with mixture of fantasy, mythological and supernatural and our indian telivision is versatile if we want we can make different concepts but dont know why our PH and channel are sticking by only saas bahu sagas and audiences are digesting it from many years

good one! I think finally, India's writers are leveraging their rich story heritage. All the latest list of writers from Ashok Banker to Amitav Ghosh to Devdutt Patnaik have all contributed to reinterpreting Indian myths, or reexamining them through modern lens or mixing up old metophors with newer imagery.
Whatever be the product, it is time that India reclaimed its story heritage. The latest teen bestseller in the US is the Game of Thrones trilogy that is heavily based on the story of the Mahabharata.
