Someone please give her all the awards uff she is giving me headaches with interviews cribbing about awards everyday.

The title is a little misleading, a little only.

She makes some valid points about women taking chances and having to go it alone in how these films shape up, though that maybe not be entirely truly in Alia's case. However one should keep in mind that Alia was all of 19 or 20 when she shot Highway, but I digress. And also about how women centric films don't make as much money. She's also right that awards don't seem to be very trustworthy these days.

The problem here was the way she handled her answer with regards to awards or the best performances. If she hadn't included herself in that group it would have been fine. But she did, she said hers was among the top 4 best basically. Even if she's right (I have not seen Mary Kom), tooting your own horn especially on such a scale never looks good. She comes across as arrogant and cocky even though it's very possible this was not her intention. The public, and even the jury on award committees expect you to be gracious and while she may have tried to be that ending of the list with herself did the opposite.

"I don't really trust the awards now."

Yet she showed up at the Big Star Entertainment awards and picked up an award.

But from her statement it is clear she is not going to win the major awards, so she is voicing out that she doesn't really trust awards. Better doing it before the awards than doing it after they are announced and coming across like a total loser.

And her line about if anyone else than her list of top 5 wins, then it's politicized smacks of arrogance and haughtiness. So if Anushka (who was not in her list) wins an award, that means it's politicized? BULLSHIT.

She had no problems when she had to pick up an award before for Fashion.. back then she had absolute faith in awards. Now that she is losing out, she has also lost her mind.

What happened at Stardust awards? Did anyone other than these five win? She made a tweet about politics and stuff after that.

Her bestie Deepika and her bestie's bestie Sonam also won awards at stardust for their dumb comedy films making the credibility of award shows laughable for us again.

She know she would not get the big awards all the newspapers and jitesh rooting for kangana and alia from last 2 months. Now Anushka got very very high praises from critics and audience for PK she is and equal contender after PK. She is just angry she couldn't make this year' belong to her. She is going to lose the major awards and even for critics and random categories this year have many many names she expected it would be another year like Fashion but she is one in the crowd full of strong contenders this year.

She was upset about not winning in 2013. Vidya was equally deserving that year for Kahaani imo and all the hardships she talked about MK applies for that film as well since it was women oriented and got critical acclaim as well.

Kangana won best actress overall at Stardust so probably she's insecure now.

There was nothing special about Mary Kom or her performance. She played 3 emotions. Teary eyed, coy and angry. That was basically the script of the film.
