Aamir offered '8 crore to OMG director!

Now that PK has released and comaprisons are being drawn between the Aamir Khan-starrer and Akshay Kumar's OMG: Oh My God, a startling bit of news has come to light. When Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra got to know that the storyline of Umesh Shukla's OMG was similar to their PK, they along with Aamir had approached Umesh to have a discussion. Says a source, "OMG was still being shot then. Aamir, Rajkumar and Vidhu offered Rs '8crore to Umesh to stop shooting the film!"

So now they turn to blackmailing!! Aamir is getting on my nerves!!

He dont care on numbers , numbers manipulated, now blackmailing...and have dclared no matter what PK oes business wise not recognizing as per mr know it all they manipulated!!

What was stopping OMG makers and this source reveal it them.What took so long??Were they like, lets wait guys when PK releases we are going to ambush them with this startling revelation??

Then how come nothing of this sort was in the news back then. Hell...they could have spun this "blackmail" around, intrigued people and ensured that the film's market value rises before its release.

Come on now. And didn't Akshay Kumar produce OMG OMG? He's an A lister himself. I doubt he'd take Aamir's shit lying down. Ainvayi...😆

Rang De Basanti was the 4th Baghat Singh movie that year and Aamir was fully aware of that. To me Aamir is secure enough in his own work and movies not to be bothered by these similarities. Some may call it Aamir's arrogance. Regardless, I don't think this is true at all nor do I think that either Aamir or Hirani worried about a movie two years in advance.
