Their eyes locked with each other like it happens in those sappy romantic novels but they didn't care about them. Their friends would.Mukti would see him and facepalm at her friend's uncool actions while Cabir would awww over it and record it all in his camera. GHA. Perfection. Ofc the rest would react like that. Ofc even a brief eye contact is something far more for MaNan. They can have whole conversations, or perhaps say nothing at all, just with their eyes.
The year was basically just 365 days without touching her, 8760 hours without seeing her face, 525,600 minutes without playing with her hair...oh god, it was an eternity for him.
For two people to whom touch means so much, to be apart for so long... Ofc he would know how long, right down to the second, that they were apart.
It's never a smooth ride with them, the bumps come from everywhere but they never let go of each other's hand.
THIS. This is what it's about. They learn. They grow. They make mistakes. They fall more in love. They aren't picture perfect, they may even seem like a train wreck.. but it's their picture and their wreck and it's perfect for them. That's how they work... f*ck up's included.
