The year was basically just 365 days without touching her, 8760 hours without seeing her face, 525,600 minutes without playing with her hair...oh god, it was an eternity for him.
For two people to whom touch means so much, to be apart for so long... Ofc he would know how long, right down to the second, that they were apart.
It's never a smooth ride with them, the bumps come from everywhere but they never let go of each other's hand.
