The mysterious tattoo - It's not a tattoo, but something he was born with. And it's something only the father knows the truth about. Yet he'll take death and not seeing his child for life rather than reveal the truth about it. But he's not a quiet man either. He'll do anything to get out except reveal the truth.

Rudra's mother - For the first time we see Rudra's mother. Now it remains to be seen how she'll be shown 12 years later without her husband and son. What is she doing to find her son? What is she doing to find her husband? Or has she been told that they are both dead?

Shivanand's escape - Not just an escape, but the Polish people's loss as well. And it doesn't matter what has happened with him for 12 years. He has enough strength to escape. And though his escape isn't as great as his son's, it really shows how the 2 are alike.

Erasing the tattoo - Even as he tries to erase the tattoo,he also shows great strength when he refuses to let the pain stop him. Right now the main thing for him is erasing the mark somehow. Add to that the symbolism of the sudden storm and it once again tells you how important this mark/tattoo is. And what adds to its importance is the way it suddenly heals itself. It's the first sign of Rudra's superpowers. And there are more to come.

Battling against all odds - Mai goes against the storm, goes against the people rushing away, and does the one thing that no one else did. She stops Rudra. It shows you how much she feels for her son. She will do anything for him to heal and yet his powers will continue to surprise her to no end.

A great third episode as well. May this greatness continue. If any episode ever falls below these standards then it will be a bad day indeed for the show.

great summary Shreya. Loved reading the key significant points of todays episode

the attempt to erase the tattoo brought black clouds and storm and the moment Rudr stopped, calm prevailed.

Today Maimui got an inkling of her son's super powers through the self healing tattoo.

Shivanand true to his name is a man of great courage and wisdom.

Excellent sum up.Thanks for sharing. The storyline and the symbolism it carries is highly intriguing.Initially thought of just looking at a single episode due to its different storyline but got completely hooked up by impressive acting and excellent direction.Hope they keep up this intensity. The tatoo removing scene was superbly shot so is his fathers escape scene.

@ Bold: Truly. I watched the first episode and became a fan of the show. The acting and direction is absolutely great. And the storyline is stellar as well.

The story telling is so good, I love the standard of the episodes so far, I agree if it goes below it turn it will really harm the show. I hope they don't ruin it by stretching it out unnecessarily and adding irrelevant stuff to it. Just don't want it to loose it's way.

Well right now it's confirmed to be a finite series of 120 episodes. So I hope they don't stretch it unnecessarily after that. But then I don't really scope for stretching it as of yet.

Mai is awesome. She mothers him and at the same time gives him space. She hasn't forced him to tell her about his past and has waited patiently for decade for him to open up about the nightmares he has been having.

It almost seems like two great forces are playing chess by some weird rules and all the humans on this planet are its pawns...

Well that's the part that hasn't been revealed yet. She wasn't at the Mahakumbh, which means she is relying on what police and medical staff say. My guess is that she's been told that her husband and son are dead.

I don't think she did. There was a few second scene between her and Shivanand where she tried to ask about the mark, but Shivanand shushed her with a stare.

And as for the woman who pulled Rudra into the river - she was just another victim.

Yet I feel that somewhere Mai knows that he has nightmares about what happened at the Mahakumbh. When Rudra was telling that part of his nightmares, she didn't look surprised. She looked more surprised as he spoke about his birth mother.
