Guys I know you all are disappointed with her but please stop overreacting.
Now it is not vidushi's fault that you have pinned your hopes on her.She was always like this - selfish, self-centered, determined, money minded whose security meant more than anything. It's all her fault. She was real. Larger than life and most importantly, she made me believe in her. I could imagine her as a real person, not a character, she supports the psychological hedonism theory so well, is a personification of the Id, so raw and bold that you can't help but start to admire her a little. She's rotten to the core, we all are in our own little ways, but she ain't afraid to show it. That's real. She isn't Miss Goody Two shoes, no sir.Her good side came out only in Parth's case. She made exceptions only for Parth.Remember when she tried to spike his softdrink only to save him while she can expose the dream team in front of Maya (the softdrink SanDhir drank and confessed their feelings)Vidushi's character is not butchered at all.Yes, agreed here. After a lot of thinking I have come to the conclusion that she lives in the moment. What matters to her a lot is her priority. Period. Everything else can rot and she won't blink. An extremely "Hedonistic, self centered and detached" perspective.Infact she is the only consistent character on the show.If anyone wanted her to turn positive and become a good-girl it is not her fault. No, I don't want her to be a good girl. I just write her as one because I'm sick of how other writers conviniently use her as Villain. She is NOT a hero and NOT a villain. She's a bit of both. Bitch to those she feels threatened by and a hero, a fangirl, a friend to those she deems worthy. That's her.It is sad that we are not ready to give liberties to women, be it vidushi or renuka sanyal, while we gave infinite chances to randhir. Take the example of last week when he expresses his narrow minded disgust for renuka and her beau without thinking of her side of story and became selfish with his so-called-sorrows. All my friends and my mom and sister were irritated at his behaviour when he set his room ablaze in renuka's house. What right does he have in damaging the room in renuka's house when he hates her? When he needs money she is the first one he approaches yet he is inconsiderate. However few sad scenes and crying scenes of randhir and we go all sympathies with him. We try to analyse his situation and fall for him more, however stupid he is.That is the woman in us. We give liberties to men and speak of feminism when somewhere deep down we have nothing but mills and boon-ish and stockholm syndrome.I may anger the whole forum with this: I do not support or sympathize with Randhir, unless he really deserves it. His pain is only one side of the story, I will not make allowances for him. Nor for anyother character. Sympathy, yes. But OMG...POOR KID...THE HARSHNESS OF HIS LIFE LEMME SAVE HIM...No!Randhir has had his ups and downs, his good moments and utterly irrational ones.Ok..More on that one day. But I refuse to make allowances for anyone.Regarding why Vidushi left Parth for Varun, well because it is love. Howmuch ever undying and extreme and exceptional it may seem, some day or the other it will saturate if inconsiderate and unappreciated. That is not bitchiness. That is a reality. Also, what people forget to consider is this:1. Vidushi loved Varun. A first love is a powerful one. And once you lose it, you might want and crave for a second chance. Who is to say that Vidushi too, no matter what Varun did to her, fervently wished it had turned out differently? Playing all possible situations of him coming back, apologizing and making her feel loved, needed, wanted again?2. Rejection. That girl cannot take it. I never really understood why she took such extreme steps: like sending Parth to jail because of that rejection? But now when I come to think of it, Parth's rejection may have reminded her of Varun's rejection. And the pain, hate , rage was channeled into getting him Punished. Here the lines blur. Parth or Varun?3. Parth always treated Vidushi as a unwanted stray, taking liberties with her.Remember the way he tied her up in the storeroom?Vidushi still forgave him, didn't reveal it was him who did it to her.Parth treated her horribly, manhandled her, emotionally and verbally abused her.And the only reason Parth is even taking an interest in her life is because now someone else is there in it - Vidushi feels that way. But Why?It is partly true. He has never made her feel like she was special to him whereas Vidushi went out of the way to make Parth feel special.4. A guy who "genuinely" feels sorry, regrets hurting you, is one who made you happyOrA guy who never gave you the time of his life and now is going Possessive Freak on you, controlling and trying to possess you. This is her black-white perspective!Or so it seems to me.Hence whatever may happen i will not lose hopes on VidArth because the characters are real, the story is real, the journey is real. They may not may not end up together but their love is real.We should look at VidArth as not lovers but survivors as individuals from a terrible past.At last but not the least, why Vidushi is giving Varun a second chance - well he wasn't her some crush in school. He was her husband. Marriage is a huge term than what it sounds on paper. They must have made a home together, shared a bed together, weaved many memories together which is much more than what VidArth shared together - and for a teenage girl they mean a lot because she had given her everything to him. She had seen a future with him. And now she is being promised of the same future again. How can she not give it a second chance? I so agree with you!And when I'm saying that she is somewhere right in giving varun a second chance she did not give him the chance just like that. She took her sweet time and made confirmations and re-confirmations on Varun's promises instead of believing him and jumping into his arms the moment he came into her life. And her warning to Varun is proof that she doesn't intend to let him go easily if he messes with her. 👏And in this scenario, Vidushi doesn't need Parth. She never needed Parth or any Sanyukta in her life. She is strong enough and cunning enough to help herself because the theme of her life itself is survival. She's always fought, and dirty if needed. Which makes her a tigress. My belief in vidushi comes from the fact that if ever VArun treats her like Sameer did to Sanyukta she won't lead him on and on thinking of family's reputation, mummy papa and taking years to break-up with him. She will do it right away because she is selfish and that is what true empowerment is. Liberty to be mean and selfish and tell the world to go to hell type attitude.Yes, I believe this as well. Varun hurts her again, she will destroy him.I conclude that I don't want Vidushi to become good and become friends with sanyukta and turn to a typical sati savitri tulsi parvati. She won't. It's not in her nature to.I want her to be more bitchily bad and scheming-ly selfish, cunningly calculative and mean manipulative whose only good side is Parth. If she gave up on Parth I want Parth to not give up on her and go extreme with her, that includes manhandling, and knock some sense into her. It may sound crazy and disgusting and hopeless on the parts of both the characters but then that is how it should be. Beyond right and wrong, good and bad, sensible and selfish, mature and manipulative. Because that is what VidArth are unlike the figments of our pink cotton candy imaginations. For me, you will find I write Fluff, but only because I am at times scared to explore the tangled mess they are. I am going to sound like a sadist, but I want Parth to expose Varun and then give her no choice. He can threaten and manhandle her, hurt her. She needs a dose of her own medicine and he has to be the one to give it to her.
First of all I would like to talk about Randhir..u said that him burning the room was not right n he should not have done this..he should have thought about his mother! Why in the world should h think about her..why should he try to listen to the other side of the story when it was never ever explained to him..Randhir's mother is not wrong in finding love again..but did she ever give the same love to him or his father..she never had time for him but has so much of sweet time to spend with this new love of her love..she nevr made any efforts to make him understand her side of the story..she did not tell randhir about him..even when she came to his college she said that whether u accept it or not but this is a fact that he is a part of my life..is that an explanation..he felt so cheated, disgusted after watching his mother..that this lady spoilt his family..left him and his father in pain..is so happily enjoying with this man.She never made any strong efforts to make him understand her situation. She is so sick that she tried to get her own son out of college...I don't think she is a good mother..I don't think Randhir is wrong in burning his own room filled with his belongings..I guess he has a right on them atleast..it was extreme but Randhir has always been like that.
About the money..well she used to support him in the past but now..she has withdrawn even that from him..he paid his fees on his own..both of third and fourth year..she is not even worried about that..his whole career depends on it..but she doesn't care!Is that right on her part?Enough chances I have given to her..but she has always failed and only hurt her son.And about Randhir..he has committed mistakes..but he has corrected them and learnt from them..developing as a person..as Parth rightly said..he has a pure soul!the same inside and out..no fakeness!!
Masst likha hai Tich 👏👏 But Sorry yaar.. Vidushi has gone out from my heart.. Totally.. 😕
See I don't know about others.. But I believe that when you go to such lengths like chori, paper leak to save someone's life, taking love bites as pride in front of the dean too, getting intimate even when the boy is taking his deceased love's name and doubting your feelings on your face.. It means you have moved on from your past like totally. And that very moment you are not thinking about any security.. I mean she always always knew Parth was not rich. And she was fine with that.. Rather she was then thinking about marriage and all ... All that added a good dimension to her character.I am not saying women don't get emotional for their first love or marriage.. That happens.. And also there is nothing absolutely nothing wrong in moving on from Parth. But Vidushi was never the forgiving types.. She was the revenge type girl.. Even for things which others didn't do intentionally.. Like the blood prank which Sanyu-Kaustu did for love test.. They didn't know about Parth's illness .. yet she took revenge on Sanyukta coz because of that prank indirectly Parth again felt weak coz of his trembling hands.Being selfish is not wrong... But repeating the same mistakes again and again.. Nope.. Not done. Just for the sake of security You are ready to overlook and blindly believe a guy who had hurt you. If security was so important why even think of Parth then in the first place. With him its a sealed future filled with struggles.Dhamki dena ka matlab hi kya hai.. it means you dont trust him.. If you dont then why accept his proposal. Why scream that he is a good guy.. If he is a good guy.. you wouldnt have had the need to warn him. Rather even ask him ke you will not cheat me na.She took sweet time.. And still she has to warn. On top of it you lodge a complaint of Manhandling. Agar Sanyukta ki party ke baad she would have done that then it would have been proper. That night he did cross the wrong line.. But next day he got the slap for good.Plus what's more disgusting is that she lodged the complaint trusting on VARUN.. Means it was not her decision. She did it coz he told to do that.. Bas dean tak complain nahi ki.. That was her decision. But does that matter.?? No..Thats a crime you know she has done it twice with Parth. Everyone say she was just angry and didn't know the case would go to the police. Like really?. C'mon money laundering is no joke.. Wo uske personal account ko hack nahi kar rahi thi.. She was tampering bloody College account. You think College authorities are fool??.. Uske baad when police had come she had not regretted... Wo to jab wo thuk pit ke college aya thats when she felt bad.I hated her at that time.. But in the medical track she was so hell bent on saving his life so intensely.. That made us root for her. It seemed like a payback for that police case track. But again the same thing. For god sake.. She should Acknowledge the fact that Parth has a criminal record.. One allegation.. his future will be ruined.. On top of it he always kept her deeds to himself..Nope.. no boy deserves this just coz you want security and you are over that guy. On top of it doing it for someone jiski asliyat tum pehle dekh chuke ho.Fine Vidush thinks in the past Varun was bad.. now he has changed.. So then in that case Parth's feelings also would have changed.. He didn't love her in the past. Now he does...Why doesn't that come in her mind?.. Sorry yaar.. Your most points are true.. But this is not the Vidushi whom I so fiercely supported.
