Katrina's look in Jagga Jasoos revealed!

Mirror (December 10) was the first to bring you Ranbir Kapoor's look from Anurag Basu's upcoming comic caper, Jagga Jasoos.

Now, here's RK's reel-life co-star and real-life sweetheart, Katrina Kaif, in the same film.

Our lensman caught the actress shooting at Chandivli Studio yesterday. The crew has been filming there since the last week with shooting beginning as early as 7 am.

Although Basu is tight-lipped about the character details, according to a source from the unit, Kat plays Jagga's love interest, who goes globetrotting with her detective date in the quest for his missing father, played by Govinda.

"The characters played by Ranbir and Katrina share a warm friendship which eventually blossoms into love," informs the source. "What adds to the charm of the relatonship is that the duo mostly converse through songs. The film is a musical with as many as 20-odd ditties composed by Pritam. They are a mishmash of several genres. This is an experiment, both for Anurag and Indian cinema."

Anurag had earlier admitted that he wanted Katrina to play the role of Shruti in his earlier film Barfi!. It was eventually enacted by Ileana D'Cruz. However, he managed to get Kat on board for Jagga Jasoos, and is confident she will 'rediscover' herself with this film.

She has to do a lot of action in the film. And since RK is doing the stunts himself, Katrina also decided to go without a double. And according to Anurag, she is doing a 'fab job'.

Jagga Jasoos, which is slated to release in October 2015, will be Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu's first production. The actor-director duo has started a production house, Picture Shuru, named after the opening track of their last film together, Barfi!
