Jagga Jasoos release postponed to October 2 of next year

It appears that Ranbir Kapoor's long delayed Jagga Jasoos' release date has once again been postponed. This is the third time that the movie's release has been pushed. While at first, the detective film was supposed to be released in May 2015, the dates got pushed to August and now reports are that the release is likely only in October next year. Shooting will complete only once the special effects are done and later, the filmmakers need to work on the music. As a result, October 2^nd looks like the most likely date for release since its a long weekend and the movie that was initially supposed to release on that date, Akshay Kumar's Singh Is Bling, might not be completed by then, reducing competition. Gandhi Jayanti has proved lucky in the past for lead actress Katrina Kaif; her last release Bang Bang had a great opening after hitting theaters on October 2^nd this year.
