No man, and I repeat, NO MAN, on Indian Telly has evoked such powerful reactions from the audience, as Raman has...he is probably the ONLY actor who has emoted vulnerability, conflict, angst, at the same time..and so well at that!! I absolutely LOATHE the stupid guilt trip he is going on and on about since the last so many days...I mean its quite disturbing and disappointing to see this stupid guilt track introduced, with oodles and oodles of self-pity and SRK-ish "puppy-eyed" looks galore..Why now??? When they both seemed to have emerged stronger from all the MISHASHOK drama?

Why now after desire was etched fair and square on their faces during the Manwa Lage sequence, the 'Buddha Mil Gaya' cringeworthy song and dance drama, the time he saved her and fought off the creeps during Shaggy's hen-party drama? After the PRAVACHAN he handed out to Mihir after the Mihika-Ashok fiasco, mouthing crappy lines like "do you know how lucky we are to have such women in our lives?"...Why did the CVs have to undo everything and make him an SRK prototype along the lines of DDLJ, KKHH, and countless other movies where SRK gets beaten up, bloodied and badgered, all in the name of love..and all the while, with a puppy dog, self-pity, victimised look on his face????

Crappy lines like "mujhe tumse door jaana hi hoga", "kabhi kabhi kisi ki khushi ke use door jana padta hai", "mere jaate hi tumhare dukh door ho jayenge' made me cringe. CRINGE. Even a powerful, spontaneous, drop-dead gorgeous actor like KP couldn't save the day with those shitty lines...I only happened to love him when he burst out crying after Toshi ji left. I mean HOW can an actor be so spot-on with his emotions? With his expressions??? My heart really, really went out to him. I wanted to so badly hug and comfort him!! Toshi ji, as always, plays RKB's mother to perfection. That's how mothers are really...intuitive and soo soo protective!

Ishita looking at the yellow shirt longingly, and saying the magic words to the SHIRT, didn't do it for me...DT just didn't sound convincing...somehow, it lacked the punch that these words should lend, the way uttering them in itself can make the stomach do somersaults...DT looked and sounded stupid and fake, sorry, she didnt cause my heart to flutter like it grew wings...

However, I am happy to note that just like Simmi overgrew a brain OVERNIGHT, so has Ishita developed a heart, she has a longing to meet her husband, see him, speak to him.. That is an achievement YHM has managed to score after about a year of this show being aired...I mean, CVs have finally decided to portray Ishita as a normal woman who finally has time for her husband...who finally finds RKB HOT, desirable, and worth being made love to...She finally expresses out loud that she is going to miss him when he's off to Singapore, that she longs to see him and tell him those magic words...

For a change, we see Ishita waiting on Raman, lighting candles in his yaad and all, setting up the scene for romance, looking at the wall clock back and forth, and blushing when being teased about everybody going to Singapore to meet Raman. For a change, we see Ishita, behave like a normal needy woman, texting to make small talk, texting to find out when her husband is going to be back...That's a relief...but behaving like a total goner, writing ridiculous letters to Raman..was SO OUT OF CHARACTER for Ishita.

This is a grudge with the CVs I've had since the IshMANI track..they can't seem to make up their minds as to how they want to portray the female lead...thruout the show...barring a few privileged occasions, they persistently showed Ishita as Devi Maiyya, Mother India, a interfering busybody, with enough time on her hands to hand out speeches and pravachans written specifically for each occasion..and now,

SUDDENLY, we are expected to hear her out and take her seriously, because the CVs thought "writing a love letter to your husband to express your love, when you've never thought of him even as an entity in the household for a million ages, is a perfect way to showcase true love". Wow. And so, when she sighs like she just read Playboy and wanted to jump the gun with Raman, it annoyed me a bit, to see how she could vaccillate between "cheee" "ewww" "aap jaanwar ho gaye ho" to all those heavy-bosomed longings!

I was busy cranking my nose up and down with Ish-MANI's conversation. MANI aka Sumeet is a BAD ACTOR WITH MONOTONE EXPRESSIONS. Period. Why the force-fed gyaan to Ishita about how she should confess her love to raman? Why the fake laughter? And Why the COMPLETE non-jokes like " silent ho jao nahin toh main violent ho jaaungi?" A bad attempt on the part of CVs to just introduce a third angle to make it all about drama...MANI had conveniently disappeared from the scene for a good month or so...a pathetic attempt to make it seem like Raman's j0urney of self-pity, guilt and sacrifice is all worth it, when it is CLEARLY not.

Ishita Bhalla finally remembers she is a DENTIST. She actually mentions that she is a doctor/dentist twice over, during the episode. The CVs are clearly trying to do some damage control. Though DT was good in bits and parts, I was expecting some more fervour and more genuineness with the track leading up to the confession.

Ruhi - I have fallen in love with her AGAIN. She is back to being the clingy, needy, cute and adorable that she was at the beginning of the show. I hope she continues to be this way, without mouthing Daadi Amma dialogues!!

Neel - When will the makers give him a new haircut? Why let him hang on and on with the crappy Devanand hairdo? One cant focus on his lines or his face, when the damn hair keeps falling over his eyes perpetually...not that he acts to save his or our lives, anyway.

Precap - Ishita finally shows some desperation at wanting to be heard by Raman. Now that's how pent-up love should make you feel. Intense, like you couldn't live without saying it out loud. Like everything else could wait... And like the dams are ready to burst open, if let a chance.

Can I say I disagree with u except on Ruhi, Toshiji n Mani part 😛
Ok Raman's puppy eyed love sick look 😆 i guess we need to understand where he is coming from, it kinda breaks ur overall spirit when u know that people who r ur strength kinda misunderstand u.

If ur mother is saying u r the reason for losing ur first born n now u r becoming the reason for losing ur second, it wud break any person. It did break RKB internally, while the whole Bhalla clan was celebrating Ruhi's permenant custody nobody saw the pain in RKB's eyes. 😳 If one has like no onein their lives with whom one can share pain with or if nobody understands RKB n his pain shud he stay with them 😕 it looked like Bhallas n everyone was ok if Raman was not there!

He is going to Singapore to fulfil his professional duties but he is not the person who wud run away from his personal life. Even after Shagun n Adi did so much to him he is not shying away from his duty of a father n supporting Adi. 😕 Imagine if this guy can do so much for Adi then wud he not think about Ishita n Ruhi who has never hurt him?

Raman thinks that Ishita feels Mani is her hero coz he heard say that, Ishita never said to Raman u r my strength u r my hero etc. 😳 Raman feels that maybe Mani can give Ishita that happiness which she deserves n not him. Hence the divorce.

Ishita has been preachy about hell lot f things but she is selfish n needy when it comes to love. This shows her possessiveness n passion 😳 her desperate attempts which r failing at confessing, her stance of asking questions like who will fight with me? Who will taunt me etc ? 😆 These r cute. 😛

M liking the current phase in Ishra story. 😊

@Bold - yes, you can disagree with me freely...its a forum after all, and people have a right to speak their mind :) , sorry..I'd slept by the time u wrote this, so replying late...

Now, coming to the episode..U r absolutely right, Megha! It does break one down internally, when not even your own familuy understands your plight and fails to see what you're going through..and blames you for fiascos one after the other...to top it, they keep singing Ishita's praises day in and day out, making Raman the scapegoat, and suddenly, he is a non-entity in the family..that hurts...ouch!

but I personally felt Raman's self-pitying looks weren't helping the case..I mean, maybe because am so used to the Raman who toughs-it-out but mostly NEVER wears victimised, self-pity looks EVER...it kinda made me cringe ki, "Why is he going all SRK on us???" ...But then I'll be honest..barring some of the crappy sacrificing lines and that puppy-eyed look, he did turn my heart into butter when he burst out crying...Whoever said men shouldn't n can't cry are nuts!! This guy has NO qualms whatsoever crying his heart out...and he does it soo well!!

So yeah, that did make my heart a bit jelly-like.

@Bold- I kind of disagree with that bit..she hasn't been shown to be needy in love...the only time I've seen her go bonkers is over Ruhi...with Raman, it was always 'fat chance, better luck next time"kind of thing...The way she is behaving now IS how needy people get, when in love..and I totally love it..but she was genuine in bits and pieces...i didnt find the crying words of love into the shirt wala scene genuine, coz I dont think that happens for real...

But yeah, holding onto to some article your partner uses and smelling it, looking at it fondly, caressing it, and thinking of when your lover's gonna be back, ALL that happens for sure...so I'd have been content if the CVs would have just kept it at that..without the melodramatic "love you" twice over, looking at the shirt..

but maybe, that's just me.

Rest all, was perfect. And haan, I even liked the Raman-Neil scene...he had no air of self-pity whatsoever in that scene atleast...However, Neil half ruined it with his bad acting and horrible hairdo.

MANI - He can get the hell out of IshRa's life. I'll be most happy :p

I know Gravity n thats the best part of this forum we can put forth our opinions 😳

Thanks for understanding my POV. 🤗

I think the way cvs handled Msni track they were not sure as to what to do to show him as positive/ negative or how to shape up his character. Overall introduction of this character somewhere butchered both Ishita n Raman's character with Ishita being majorly affected.

I just cud not relate to her oblivious to Raman's tears nature 😕 n then Raman danced in Shagun's sangeet this was another compromising of Leads.

Coming back to Ishita not being very needy n selfish I agree to this. Very rarely we have seen her taking initiative n giving in Ishra relationship. Maybe except for Manwa lage instance I font c any place where she behaved like in love with Raman(after Mani came) even KC, before hen party only at some scenes. But even in those scenes except for Manwa laage Raman initiated the flirting or romance.

When Ruhi custody was going on she acted like a mother n less like an understanding wife. But now when she knows that Raman is going away she is kind f trying to b selfish n needy in love, i want u here, i want to fight with u, who will taunt me etc. 😳 n her desperate attempts at talking with him telling him her dil ki baat. I m happy to c this Ishita the possessive one for Raman although she is still oblivious to Raman's pain.

While Ishita is here initiating Romance, Raman is trying to take a drastic step completely oblivious to Ishita's confession. Its stupid n cute at the same time, something which Love makes u feel like. 😕 😆

@bold - Anytime Megha! 🤗🤗🤗

@ blue - Totally! From the time the stupid MANI track was introduced, people were going all bonkers over Raman's jealousy and how he'd now have to treat Ishita right...then when IshMANI became aggravatingly idiotic and OTT, people complained he is just causing IshRa's core character to get butchered..which I agree with...beech mein MANI was getting all nosy regarding Ishita's life and was advising her to leave Raman and give life another chance..whatever that means now... So to see MANI advising Ishita how she should confess her love best was INFURIATING. I do not like that guy...whenever he's around, he spells trouble IshRa, whether he means it or not..

Raman dancing in Shaggy's wedding - I could only forgive that part because IshRa looked breathtaking beautiful in the Manwa Lage dance sequence, had they shaken their hip actually celebrating Shaggy's marriage instead of their own, I'd probably have written off Raman for good..

@red- I have NEVER seen Ishita initiate something for Raman..its always the poor guy, doing things for her, making moves, staring at her, wanting to get close to her, huskily breathing into her ears, making little things like the RAINDANCE count for her, make breakfast for her, whatever the hell he does...he has spelt out in COUNTLESS diff ways that he is ready to MOVE ON with her..that he LOVES her..and so yest, when MANI gave gyaan to Ishita ki ski ankhon mein dekh ke kehna etc etc." "tab tumhen pata chalega ki uske mann mein kya hai"

I was like..WHAT??? After doing ALL he can to prove his love to u, in Addition to reducing Shaggy to a mere zombie in his life, WHAT more proof do you need??? That really blew my fuse...she still needs assurance..expression...certainty..like she was blind to EVERYTHING he had done for her till now..What kind of woman does that? Kick love in the face, and then try and claim it??

@pink - Yes...I will forgive Ishita if she continues this..if she continues being needy, desperate, possessive and trying to catch Raman's attention, because we all remember RAMAN having done that for ages now, and its time she caught on!! Also, even if he talks about divorce and moving away, I will forgive her thousand flaws and Devi Maiyya image, f she persists to keep Raman tied to her...like she WILL NOT let him go away..no matter what the hell he thinks...or says..now THAT would be fun to watch..then I'd know she is a real woman, coz real women dont begin to confess their love to their husbands they've been ignoring and then back off with indignance and pride coz he's thinking of moving away..they fight back and let the man know they r here to stay...and neither can go away..blowing off everything for good!! I've done that personally actually, when my guy had been acting stupid..

But God forbid, IF she goes back to "Raman, aapne mera bharosa toda etc etc Main jaanti thi ki aap kabhi mujhse pyaar nahin kar payenge kyunki aap Shagun ko aaj bhi kahin na kahin pyaar karte hain"I will dump a bucket of ice water on her head...
