Harry/Lily's eyes

I rmr Jo saying that the fact that harry has his mother's eyes is significant...
I have read DH.. just didn't find how it's significant.. harry having lily's eyes...
maybe i missed it... so.. does someone know...?

i think the big thing about her eyes is that snape was shown as a villian in all the books but actually he was good only becoz of them eyes....dumbeldore said to snape that voldi will kill harry he'll kill lily's son who has her eyes which was the main reason snape supported harry becoz he feels a part of lily is still alive

I haven't even read the book yet so i'm not sure how accurate all this is....i was skipping through the books and started readin the princes memory coz it seemed interesting

When Dumbledore asked Snape whether he cared for Harry and then Snape replied, "For him?" as in he was confused why Dumbledore thought that he cared for harry, and then he did his patronus to show that he didnt do it for Harry, he did it for Lily, thats why his patronus was a Doe "always" for Lily. It killed Snape every day to look into the eyes of the woman he loved and to stare at the face of the Man he hated, that is why Snape was bitter towards Harry and if it had not been for Harry having Lily's eyes then Snape wouldnt have followed Dumbledore's instructions and cared for Harry and he would have just been a sad pathetic death eater rotting in Azkaban. And that is also why Snape asked for Harry to look at him when he died. Not because he wanted to look at Harry, because he wanted to look into the eyes of the woman he loved as he died.

If harry wldnt have his mothers eyes then snape probably wld neva have protected him😊

Remember the last word oh Snape to harry before his death......"Look at me".......he found the eyes of the woman he was devoted to in Harry......this always reminds Snape that it is his fault that Lily died......
he wanted to do something worthy for lily & decided to help harry the last remaining part of lily
