omg..very emotional and painful part dear.. vicky sudden death ...took away maan all happiness...now he is living souless life...but geet is determined to take maan out of past and fill colors in his colorless life...

Part - 23

Geet has now found out the reason behind Maan's rudeness and now she knows why he hates being emotional and why he has shun all kinds of human emotions incuding joy and happiness...

She can understand his feelings after losing all his family one by one, but that doesn't mean that his life is also doomed...there is his loving dadima still with him yearning to put a smile back on his face...

He should forget his past and move on...he should fulfil Dadi's wishes and make Dadi happy atleast for the rest of her life...

Geet thinks that she has to get rid of Vciky's things so that Maan wouldn't be reminded of Vicky all the time, then only he will slowly forget the past and start thinking about him and his own life...

Geet starts off with Vciky's room that is Maan's passage to the past...

Geet gets the keys from Dadi and checks out Vicky's room, everything is kept untouched as it used to be when Vciky was there, even after he left his room is kept alive and that's why Maan still connects to the past and his Bro easily...

It's filled with Vicky everywhere, all his things lay there carring memories of Vicky, his guitar, sports gears, tennis rackets, tread mill, clothes and even his books...they all lie there as it is...

The blazers he used in his school at Simla, his music collections, his school records, even his sandals and slippers...his sports shoes, bands and papers carrying his signature...his dictionary that carries his scribbles, his diary where he has penned down his thoughts...

What a waste? These books and other sports goods can be useful for a lot of needy people...

Some of the clothes are also new and not even used once...

Geet thinks of an idea, she wants to donate them to poor children, Dadi ko bhi ye idea bahut achchca lagtha...

When Vicky was alive he used to celebrate his B'days with the children in the nearby Ashram and he tried to help them providing food and other things for them...

But after he left everything changd, Maan stopped all celebrations and he mourns his brothers loss even on his b'day...Maan remains silent on that day and doesn't even go out of the house, he keeps thinking about Vicky the whole day, no food nothing, he finally comes out of his room in the afternoon and locks up himself in vicky's room thereafter...

No one disturbs him on that day...even Dadi leaves him alone...

This year Dadi knows exactly what to do...Vicky's B'day is only days away...

They can use this opportunity to donate his thing to the ashram and they can also celebrate his b'day along with those children like before...

Dadi knows that Maan would never agree for this and she had to do it herself without Maan's knowledge...for him Vicky's b'day also means doom's day...

Dadi is fed up with his attitude and she is not letting him spoil his life anymore...

Now he is not alone, he has got family, wonder which family? Hare, Geet, his wifey...haina?

He can't keep punishing himself like this and he has no right to punish Geet...

He has to put an end to all this drama and look forward to his future, his happy marries life with geet and children...dadi has a lots of plans Maan bete...jaldhi maanjao, ye Dadi toh aapko aapki zindagi wapas dena chahthe hai...Dadi ko bhi aake bachon se khelna hai, aakhir yahi hai zindagi...life keeps changing with time and we will have to change with it, waqt ke saath saath humme bhi badalna chahiye haina? Kyunke waqt toh hummare liye badal nahi saktha, humme hi ussko badalna padega...

Dadi silently makes all the arrangements and keeps it a secret mission, Maan ko koi bhi kabar nahi hai...

Poor Geet, she has just suggested an idea and forgot about it completely, but dadi has not forgot that...

Geet is busy stalking Maan and his activities...she finds him boring and mechanical...he follows the same routine every day...

He talks very less and that too with dadi...servans are afraid of him b'coz he is always angry and frustrated...he wants everything perfect...he can't accept any mistakes...

And as far as Geet knows he is also perfect, and rarely makes a mistake...

The only problem with him is he is too perfect and expects the same from others...

And he keeps associating everything with his brother...comparing and connecting to Vicky all the time...Maan totally ignores Geet and is only thinking about Vicky as his b'day nears and keeps reminding him of hs Bro...his fond memories with him keep lingering in his mind and that tragic event keeps flashing in his memory now and then upsetting his mood and disturbing him very much, not allowing to concentrate in his work...

It's Vciky's b'day...

And there is absolute silence at KM...

All the servants make sure that nothing goes wrong today...

Maan is usually very moody in that day and anyone who is caught doing any mistake is directly fired...

They don't utter a word and just keep doing their job with utmost attention not to upset Maan...

Some have even gone on leave...Nakul is at home...

He can't leave like others, he has been with them from the days of Vicky and he too knows Vicky very well...he is also very sad and he too misses Vicky...

Vicky is such a nive person, and everybody loved him...he treats everyone alike and doesn't yell at the servants, he neither hurt them nor ill treat them...he is such a sweet person...

All of them liked Vicky...he never got angry like MSK...anger is MSk'a sole property...

Dadi has left for the Ashram early in the morning...

She has to get Maan there somehow...and she knows that Geet can do that for her, Geet is her partner know...Geet is waiting for Maan to come down...

He is late and is still in his room...Geet finds that starnge for he is never late for office...

Aaj toh Vicky ka janam din hai, Maan ka Bro, Vicky...

But the house is calm and quiet, no signs of any special celebrations, Vicky is no more but that doesn't mean we should not remember his B'day...

It may not be a big celebration but they can just rememeber him and get his blessings, haina?

But there is no such activity, Geet is surprised...

She waits for Maan to came, may be everyone is waiting for him...

Dadi has gone to the gurudwara to offer herprayers, Geet looks at the servants for help for she wants to do something, but no one is in a mood to do anything, all are pretending to be busy and trying to escape from Maan...

Geet decides to do it herself, she remembers Dadi keeping the keys of Vicky's room in Dadi's room, Dadi had given her freedom to access Vicky's room if she wishes to know anything more about Maan and his Bro, every secret lies in that room...

Geet takes the keys and goes there to get Vicky's portrait...there are many in his room, along with Maan, dadi and also his family...

Geet's takes one of those single pictures of Vicky and brings it down...

She rememebers Dadi telling her that Vicky loves yellow roses and that's why the garden is full of them, Geet gets some beautiful flowers from the garden and decorates Vicky's portrait...

She then asks Vicky to show her the right path to help his little and also give her the strength to overcome all the difficulties...

She thinks that Maan would appreciate her efforts...

Meanwhile Maan goes to Vicky's room and is shocked to see it left open...

Geet had forgotten to lock it back, Maan thinks that may be Dadi had come there in the morning...

Maan ebters the room and another surprise awaits him, the room is half empty...

Maan couldn't believe his eyes, he rushes to each corner and looks for the things kept there, but they are all missing...what happened to them?

Maan knows very well that no one has the guts to enter Vciky's room except...wait, Maan has forgotten the new comer, the latest entry to KM, haaan, Geeet Handaaa...silly girl, pagal ladhki, ye toh kuch bhi kar sakthi...ek bar bataya toh usko samaj mein nahi aatha...

Maan couldn't bear it, how dare she touches his Bro's things again...and what has she done with them...how dare Geet? and it's Vicky's b'day...kam se kam aaj toh koi galthi nahi karthi, haina?

Lekhin ye ladhki toh hamesha aaisa hi sab kuch ulta hi karthi...

Maan is furious, he comes down shouting...

Maan: Nakulll Nakulll Dadiii dadimaaa

The servants come running and stand still in front of the angry MSK...

Maan: ye sab kya hai?

They look at each other and are confused...they remain silent for they don't want to get into trouble today, but some one's in big trouble already...

Geet too comes running hearing the noise, MSK toh aaj subhe subhe shuru ho gaya...

She knew that he would me in a very bad mood today...

Geet runs seeing MSK shouting and she hits the couch on the way and almost falls...

Maan holds her and stares ...he is burning with anger...

Geet is not afraid, she knows that she has done nothing wrong and why should she be afraid then...

Ye toh hamesha aaisa hi gussa karthe rehtha, isske gusse ko toh koi wajha hi nahi chahiye...haina?

Bas mann kiya toh gussa ho jaatha...

Maan: tum? Samne dekhne nahi chal sakthi?

Geet: aap toh aaise chilla rahe the jaise appke jaan ke koi kathra ho, issiliye mein bhaag ke aayi aur

Maan asks her to shut her mouth...

Geet stops...

Maan keeps staring her and asks Nakul...

Maan: Nakul, bro ke kamre mein kaun gaya?

Nakul blinks...

Nakul: wahan toh sirf aap aur dadima jaathe hai

Maan: nahi, koi aur bhi gaya hai andar aur Bro ka saman bhi gayab hai

Nakul is shocked...kya?

Maan: meinne kitne bar kaha ki Bro ek cheezon pe haath mat lagane ki, lekhin kissi ko smajmein nahi aatha

Maan keeps looking at Geet...

Geet is angry...she had just taken a single portrait from there and Maan is treating her like a thief...

Nakul: aaise kaise ho saktha? Kissiki himmat hai andar gusne ki?

Maan: ye koi babar wale ka kaaam nahi

Geet: matlab?

Geet looks into his eyes burning red in his anger, she tries to find the answers for all her queries, but couldn't find any...

Is this MSK such a bad guy? Geet doesn't think so after all the stories she heard about him, he loves his Bro so much so he is also as humane as anyone with all emotions...

Maan finds innocence and truth in her eyes...and this time she is not scared at all...

It's unusal, usually she is afraid of him and hides behind dadi always...

Maan: mein tumse baat nahi kar raha hoon

Geet: toh mujhe kyun gurthe ho?

Maan turns the other side, he finds Vicky's portrait there along with the folwers, that too Vicky's favourite yellow roses...who plucked them from the garden?

What's happeneing in this house today?

These plants were brought and planted by Vicky himself, Vicky had warned them not to pluck the flowers for he believed that they too had life and are better to be left smiling in the plants...

None has touched them till now, and the servants are shocked too, they wonder who could have done that...they all look at chotu, the new servant, but Nakul has warned him enough that he never leaves the kitchen...

Maan: ye ho kya gaya hai sabko?

No one answers...they all bend their heads...but Geet doesn't...

Maan: ye kisska kaam hai?

Geet: ye meinne hi kiya hai

Geet answers still looking into Maan's eyes...she is so determined that it's not her fault...infact she had done the right thing...

Ye sunke toh sab ke chehre ka rang hi udjaatha...they panic and feel pity for geet, what has she done?

Doesn't she know anything about Vicky? She has gone mad...'

Maan turns to the others...: tum log jaa sakthe hai

They all leave...Maan keeps staring Geet and he is fuming...his anger knows no bounds as it's about his Bro Vicky...
