well leaps never proved to be profitable to any show! only the first 100 epis were apt and of good quality.
i condemned the whole story as they have completely neglected it! had they started with a consistent plot and good track with continuous creativity,they wouldnt even need leaps now! they just did 1 mistake and to cover it up,did one again and it went on and on...

I have also watched the show on Sony TV and the person portraying Akbar is nowhere close to our Rajat.👎🏼

Ekta and ZEE have no honour. They think it alright to exploit the fame of Rajat and Paridhi for election campaigns and opening ceremony of shows, but no shame in robbing them of the hard work the leads have put in over the past one and half to build up the show and the characters.

Evey single day, from now on, that Rajat and Paridhi, play the part of parents of a twenty something Salim, they will fritter away the romantic aura that they had worked so hard to build. That is irreplaceable. Do you want the last images of Akbar and Jodha from this show, as that of a doddering old pair, who go loggerheads with their son over love?

The sad thing is there is no agency to address the crime Ekta and team is commiting. Will you use the tagline of Salim-Anarkali or Salim-Nur Jahan to sell the story of Shah Jahan and the Taj, and will use the Taj to sell the great conflict between Shivaji and Aurangzeb.

I am angry at Rajat and Paridhi, because they don't do the honorable thing and quit. Sure they will face consequences but sometimes you have to fight the right cause., and to hell with the consequences.

ZEE and Ekta, are complacent in the belief that is no alternative, but the Akbar of SONY is just one example, another show of a great king will start soon on COLORS. There are always options for everything in this world.

By the way, I still come regularly to the forum,but I have nothing positive to say about the proceedings so I keep quiet. I follow the writings of so many friends I have made on this forum over the past year. The friends are indeed a blessing and it will be sad to to lose touch as our show sinks to the depths.

I have no idea what made Ekta kill her own show mercilessly! it is beyond my understanding...what a show it was! what magic it was! was there any shortage of events or incidents in real JA's life?? no...not at all...and they researched for 2 n half years just to kill it after 1 year?? where r the research materials? ok, I got original CVs left but did they leave with all the materials?

learning abt the new grown up Salim made me more angry...high time to leave the show...now even PariJat cant stop me.

I feel sad for the actors Donjas...my heart bleeds for them...its their loyalty towards the show and Ekta that they r still sticking around..but if it was other leads they would have quit the show long long back.

coming to MP wala Akbar..no I somehow couldnt manage to like him..he puts me off..for me Akbar is Rajat and Jodha is Paridhi..they r imprinted in my mind as JJ...no one can replace that...they r so perfect!

@bold: initially I was like this yaar, later on I started to like him. one thing for sure is he is Not OTT at all. I like him especially when he expresses anger.

@blue: yes this I agree with you. always my loyalty and love goes to Parijat. I love this Jodi as much as I love SRK and Kajol. These are my two fav Jodis...
