So, the leap is going to happen, a new Salim is coming to the show, a Salim who, incidentally is older than his father. What can one say, except be angry and frustrated.

ZEE and Ekta think that as long as they hold on to the golden pair of Rajat and Paridhi, losses in ratings can be recouped. That is why the ZEE wallas began hyperventilating when they heard of the SONY performance of our beloved leads.

Who knows, maybe they are right about the ratings, but it hell is unethical. Rajat and Paridhi have worked hard for one and a half years to establish the characters of Jodha and Akbar. Now a newcomer will just walk in and take over all their glory. Ekta and team did not even have the decency to shut Jodha Akbar down and start a new show about her beloved Salim Anarkali. Instead she is hijacking Jodha and Akbar's name to push own agenda.

Ekta thinks there are no options, but options always crop up. I have one right now. I know Rajat has been remarkable as Akbar but on an off chance I was watching the show on SONY where Akbar plays a villain and I was impressed. If you get a chance watch Ep 329 on youtube. The Akbar in this episode was dashing and royalty personified. He was just right. Trust me, just give this episode a try.

Donjas so good to hear from you. well said but honestly I do not know if TRPS are going to go high by bringing in the SA track. we will have to wait and see. That CV guy said no matter whomsoever comes the story will be around JJ only.I am not sure how but this is what he said.

I do agree that Parijat worked hard for 1.5 yrs and put in their heart and soul to this serial and is loved and adored by everyone. It's unfortunate that leap is happening.

Regarding the Villain Akbar, its funny I had Pmed rashmi and said the same. I am also liking him..

Welcome back Donjas...Yes I have seen Akbar in other show and they are not doing injustice to him there..at least not till now...That show is made out of love and it is so obvious..

Thanks for responding. I don't normally watch the show on SONY, but for anyone who like the regal splendor one imagines of Akbar, I recommend that you watch Ep 329 on SONY. It is available on Youtube.

Ekta and ZEE have disrespected the audience. They deserve nothing good from us.

they had beautiful looking actors as jj amazing chemistry which loved by millions how they wasted in last two months is biggest example of suicidal case

the salim they chose look like roadside gunda plus he looks elder to both parijat Secondly salim how now is portrayed is totally a villianish instict

i partly agree! i watched the episode you mentioned and honestly i started getting a headache its not even near what JA used to be initially..rajat's jalal has no comparison..the guy has good physique and looks but i found him ott!..if you really want to watch a class show then watch siyaasat..the presentation is just perfect and i can compare it to the class pakistani shows that i used to watch!

Unlike most of her fictional shows, Ekta had a readymade story for JA,inspite of that she chose to show her anuchit natakiya rupantars. I too feel sad for Paridhi and Rajat. They have a large fandom. I hope they end JA!

I agree with you totally. After killing the show mercilessly and sidelining the leads. These people are still busy en cashing their popularity to promote this SA crap.

There was so much to show in Ja-Jo story but EK's writers never had the capacity to think something other than petty harem drama.

Regarding the other serial, never watched it, but will give it a try. Infact JA is the only hindi serial I followed so closely.
