That's the point-- her character is written so inconsistently. It makes no sense for her to be getting angry with Sandy when its Sandy's husband that's on the plane. If it was Mohit, I would understand her self righteous anger. Then of course she sends Mohit for a job interview in the midst of a family crisis. Somehow she understands the need for Mohit to concentrate on his career instead of just thinking about the family yet can't understand the need for Sandy to do her job. Terrorists are sneaky, you can't blindly expect them to honour their deals-- of course Sandy needs to think of some sort of plan.
