Folks,

My thoughts abt Khwaish :

They could have done it better by keeping it in simple urdu, rather than using some unnecessary tough Urdu vocabulary which sounds too formal for the situation and very unrealistic.

Also, I don't understand why they have to show people in Arabic dress .. that too cheap they are shown in a cheap get-up. If at all they wanted to show some foreigner, better they should be doing it in proper way - Specially the head gear isn't worn in that sleazy way --- shown in very non classy way!

Oh yeah!! Also, it should be KHWAHISH not khwaish!!

What do you think? 👎🏼

TOTALLY AGREE!! not all high-fi original Dubai people wear those outfits...I've seen many high soceity arabs from Dubai who wears suits and stuff at parties...jus beciz the show's shot in Dubai doesnt mean they have to show these stuff 😡

and the spelling...well its more about Numerology when it comes to Indian Entertainment..... Kasam Se is spelled KasamH se...and Kusum had an extra K...even films from Karan Johar and Rakesh Roshan has wierd spelling due to numerology. 😛

yea the spelling is weird..but taff explained tht well...numerology is important for ekta and the rest of the indian entertainment clan

as for the language...its definately NOT over done...the vocabulary isnt too complicated...its actually simple everyday language...its in URDU not hindi so of course there will be differences in the language and the hindi speaking audience will have a lil difficulty understanding some words but its not that bad. ive watched hindi movies and shows since forever and there are words, phrases and sometimes entire sentences i dont understand...but i can still grasp the meaning...i'm sure all u hindi speakers out there will survive through khwaish

i dont get wat u mean by dress...can u b more specific...i havnt noticed nething wrong in their clothes 😕

LOL..ya, even i have noticed the spelling mistake in the title name as well..but Oh well, it's not the first time😃..And as far as speaking urdu is concerned, i think they indeed use some very formal words..i mean i do understand them but we don't use them in everyday life. They could have used simple urdu instead of having hard formal words that Indian actors hav difficulty pronouncing. 😕

I don't think the language used is that tough. I can understand Urdu with ease and find it very simple and beautiful. It is just that the male lead's khaala speaks with twisting her mouth which makes the language different. But she is fun to watch. I am actually enjoying the new setup.

I have some doubts. Could someone please clear?

1. Is it possible for someone to own property in Dubai? If it is then isn't it a new law? I mean something which came in last couple of years?

2. If it is so then how come Afreen's dad in one episode says 'ye hamara pushtaini makaan hai'.

3. Dubai is a place with maximum work oppurtunities and a law graduate like Afreen could only find event manager's job?😕

4. Dubai is very expensive then how come someone with single family income and big middle class family own such a huge house? Actually I think Afreen's house is bigger than Kabir's.😃
