Shaurya and Dev- Contrast in which they treat their mothers

Durga was able to stop Dev's murder instincts taking Suchitra's name. When she spoke about his mom from a revengeful son he became a responsible son. A son who has the responsibility to take care of his mother. His mother who had more or less taken care of him alone from childhood does not deserve the shock of him spending his life in jail and she living a lonely life. I also liked the way in yesterday's epi he was trying to control his emotions so as not to hurt his mother with the shocking news.

On one side they showed a son who values his mother's trust on him, acknowledges his responsibility towards her and is mindful of her feelings on the same hand they gave us an arrogant and impudent son also.

Sakshi who had pampered Shaurya and have covered up his crime got the jolt of her life. Shaurya couldn't have insulted her in a better way. Irrespective of she doing everything for him, saving him multiple times the son called her idiot, useless and old. He also told her she cannot stop him now and he will do what he intends to do.

Suchitra by making Dev accountable for his actions have won the game fair and square and Sakshi lost it big time by never making Shaurya accountable for his actions.

I noticed it too.

Dev doesn't want to hurt his mother. He actually has every right to question her why was she so unaware of all that happened. But he didn't.

Shaurya himself kept ignoring mother's warnings yet still blamed only her!

It is a case of having less and having too much as much as it is a case of upbringing.

Shaurya has everything and both parents. He had nothing missing. He has too much and too easily. No difficulty in life. This is why he doesn't value anyone or anything.

Mother is protective shield in this show. Dev is united with his shield and honours it. Shaurya is distanced from it and trashed it. He took step towards downfall by leaving Sakshi's hand.

Suchitra checked Dev even at speaking loudly to younger brother. Whereas Sakshi kept laughing off or putting aside whatever Shaurya did. Even a dead Arnab was inspiration to Dev whereas Rajnath was a shame in name of alive father.

In many ways one's child in this show has been a mirror of one's karma too. Sakshi and Raj deserved Shaurya only.
