Paradise!
Adi trailed Mihir. He was still coming to terms with all the noise his mom was making into the mikes, inches away from her face. Ashok at another end had more people around him grabbing the bytes he had to offer. Mihika was brought home with care. Raman held Mihika, Adi walked next to Mihir with Ishu watching Adi as they headed to waiting cars.
Please get some rest everyone' Raman insisted after he had explained all that had transpired to his stunned family holding Mihika's phone in hand. Abhimanyu Raghav was furious at Ashok and at himself for the fiasco. He decided to talk to Raman before he moved any further. Raman too realised that it would take more than his fury to bring Ashok down.
Abhi and Raman re-grouped. Mihika handed him over a pen drive that had all the information on Ashok's legal wrongs but the recording on her phone that would prove her innocent was gone. " I don't need that Miku to know you' insisted Mihir. There were 3 broken souls that cried themselves to sleep that night - Simmi, Mihika and Adi. They had all reached out to Raman in their own way.
Later that night Raman walked in on his wife and daughter whispering to each other under the blanket as he listened in silence.
"Ishima Adi bhaiya kehte hain wo mera aur dadi ke saath rehna chahte hain...aapko main ek kissi doon aur dadi - Adi bhaiya ke saath so jaoon??"
"sure beta ..secret kya hai bolo bolo" she egged.
" Adi bhaiya aapko sorry bolna chate hai...aapke back me jo chot hai uske liye"
" that's ok...aur" she prodded.
Shagun mama adi bhaiya ko mili nahi na aapke accident ke baad so wo lonely hai...pur bhi Ishima aap akele hai na.." her angel was worried for her.
" Nahi beta papa aa jayenge na.tum jao" she carried Ruhi, passed Raman at the doorstep walking over to her dadi's room. Adi was already asleep. Ishita walked around to tuck him in walked back into Raman deep in thought.
"Raman I think Adi is ready to get back to the family but may not to me. Main Amma ke ghar chali jaoon?"
" Paagal ho!" he chided
"There are so many things to sort out, let's talk tomorrow." He hugged her till he woke up the following morning to his phone's alarm.
It was a busy day for Raman and Abhi. Both worked to put things together to fend their common enemy.
" I have a house in Coorg. Mihika and Mihir will be safe from the media there. Let's get them there till this dies down and you continue to work from there Mihir' suggested Abhi.
Raman bachon ki toh kaal se chutti hai 1 hafte ke liye Main na Ruhi aur Shravan ko leke challti hoon' said Mrs. Toshi
" Nirvaan I'm sure would like to go along. I can go to help dadi look after the kids. Bada hoon na innse " piped a soft voice looking at Mihir.
" Why not Adi" Raman made it easy for him.
" Let me call Shagun" he said
" It's ok I'll speak to her anyway she will object only if I stay here' Adi said sadly.
Kids, Mr and Mrs.Toshi ,Mihir and Mihika left the following day. The house felt different when Ishita walked in from her clinic.
Under normal circumstances Raman would have called anyman fattu" if he had not managed to spend time with a willing wife. But his life with Ishita was nothing but normal. Raman returned after a long day at work and with Abhi. He found himself smiling when he realized that his JKR could be all his today.
He smiled a big meaningful smile when he saw his room lit up with a couple of pretty candles on the bedside table. The running shower, wafting lavender fragrance and the singing he heard made him smile even more. He grabbed his change walked across to Ruhi's room not wanting to waste a minute. out for dinner and movie' said the text from Romi and Simmi Raman's mind got naughtier.
He was at his living room hammering on his laptop when he saw his candy climbing down the stairs in a white T shirt and Ruhi wala pink hot pants. " Size bhi Ruhi ki size ki hai" he leered in his head...
" Hi Ishita" he said pretending he not see her.
"Kaana laga doon!'

They ate quietly cleared up quickly and he was really glad when Ruhi chose to call her as they were tidying up left the kootchi kooing Ishu with her phone after he spoke briefly to make sure his kids were happy!
Raman slid under his quilt before Ishu reached . He closed his eyes and thought of all that his JKR had done for him that evening. Sent his siblings off, wore hot pants, smiled and flirted with her eyes and he was enjoying every minute of it. He chuckled remembering how much bolder she got every time she did not get a reaction. Raman was blown but was more experienced that his woman. He was teasing her and she was naive.
hah so gaye' Ishu cried aloud disappointed walking in with some tea.
He could not resist a chuckle and got a whack for being such a tease. He looked magnificent as he slipped out from under the quilt wearing shorts and fitting back T shirt.
Wo dheko' he pointed to the couch were he had rearranged the candles, put out some a chilled bottle and 2 wine glasses. She looked at him wide eyed. He led her to the their famous couch. Poured out Moscato and they toasted to themselves. Ishita was happy in her husband's arms dancing to soothing music. Ishita put her arms around her husband's neck watching his eyes look back at her with a lot of promise and something enigmatic. There was something new, she could not put her finger on it. Not when his fingers got under her T shirt fanning her back and bring her closer into him as she continued smiling at him. He watched her eyes with amusement, as she was mentally leafing through memories.
Bhuddu' he kissed her forehead while his hands fished out a solitaire from nowhere. He slipped it around her neck and kissed her where it rested just above her blouse.
Raman I had always dreamt of dancing with my husband like this in private..'
and barefooted...with a moscato in hand! Accha yeh to batao tum kaise janti ho Moscato ke bare me..

Raman yeh sab appko...she was stumped when she saw him wave her fantasy list on her face with a big grin...
Mihika ratted me??? I didn't know I hadn't burnt this one she was raging.
Ohhh hoo JKR he kissed her on her lips.

Besharam aurat he kissed her again!
After a night of bliss she smiled before she opened her eyes in the morning. She looked into his eyes that were happy and carefree and seemed to have flecks of gold in them!
Good morning! he kissed her bare shoulder.
Ab ayio murugan itni dher hogayi.. Mat bolna! He licked the bite mark he made on her other shoulder.
She pulled out her phone still kissing him and showed him something.
Hi Dr.Anirudh please take over my urgent appointments and get the office to postpone the rest. Looks like I can't make it today!'
Kyun! He asked faking innocence.
Because my husband likes cricket she said as she kissed his torso and climbed on him!
Simmi almost dropped her tea when she heard Raman's guffaw resonate through the appartment. Teared up a little, happy that her brother found happiness in his life finally!!
A week later Toshiji was stirring the soup as she pointed out to Bhallaji next to her aaj humara Happy wakhay hee happy hai na?
Happy was busy on the sofa, remote in one hand, right arm casually thrown on the back of sofa but fingers strategically placed on his wife's nape making circles down her spine. Their daughter had her arrested in that position till she finished her nail art stickers on her Ishima's left hand! Sitting on her fathers lap her legs across Ishu's lap tucking Ishu's body close to her dad's side. She had to make sure her dad liked what she was sticking on her Ishima's fingers while daddy was happy with the mile long sticker sheet he had to pick from. All Ishita could do was to croak a reply and grab Ruhi's attention while trying to shake off Raman's hand. Every time she moved forward his hand just slid further down her back!! She could only stare at him fighting the rising colour in her cheeks while he looked stoically at the TV screen ahead of him.
The mess that Shagun was making, the corporate war with Ashok, Romi, Mihika, Simmi or Bala's problems did not beat him down! Not when he came home to something like this every evening and kept speaking to Adi a little every single day!
He was in Paradise with his angels!
