How did Dev know Aakash just works with Durga- My take

Just like he cornered Dr Thakur with the words telling you killed Nithya and made him confess once again strongly Nithya is alive and then told I know where Nithya is. Dr Thakur didn't contradict him confirming his theory.

Same he did with Durga yesterday. A play of words. Dev by now has understood from whatever Durga has done her motive is keep him outside the battle. She doesn't want him to fight along with her. He has completely understood she is using deviant methods to get justice and has also accepted that. To some extent , I would say not to some extent he more or less feels that she does love him only. That indirect question to her in the dinner date asking what Nithya feels about him confirms that he kind of knows her true feelings for him, but just waiting for her to confess it herself.

Now coming to the point. Was Dev disturbed seeing Aakash and Durga. Yes he was clearly disturbed. She keeping a distance from him and going with another guy well he was not comfortable. Now he wanted to put his mind at rest. So when she came back he asked her not only who is Aakash but also told her that he feels there is something more than just friendship with him.

Durga instantly told that if he feels there is something more than friendship between them then he is right.

Her quick answer was enough for him to gauge that her only motive was to keep him out of the battle. If this can make him hate her once more well she was fine with it as he will not interfere with what she is trying to do.

Because if you really had something going and you know another guy loves you, if you care for that guy psychologically speaking Durga wouldn't have been this rude. She should have been soft, try to explain the reason why she feels about Aakash etc etc that way, so that Dev doesn't feel bad.

Here she spoke in such a way that she wanted him to feel bad and back of which he completely understood was intentional from her part to make him hate her.
