Firstly, I know there were together for their own convenience as they were all outsiders at one point or another. The rifts between them were also widening. But let's look at Big Boss' role in splitting up the group.
1. i think Pritam mentioned that he had told Praneet about distancing himself from Punit and would vote against him.
2. Big Boss knew about this and so when Pritam went to vote, they made it live so that the other members could see it. This was the final catalyst needed.
