After spending some peaceful time with her parents Kalpi returns back to the place which she used to call home... She calls out for Ria.. On not getting reply she gets hyper and runs towards her room when head maid stops her and informs that Ria is in backyard garden with Raghav.. She wonders what is she doing there and that too with Raghav.. She goes to the backyard door and stand there not knowing whether to open it or not.. She was still not in the condition to face Raghav.. She hears some giggles coming out from that direction... She hears it with little more concentration and identifies it as Raghav and Ria's voices.. Not wanting to disturb them,she runs to Ria's room to open the window as it is the only place from where she can see and hear the activities of backyard.. What she saw was a pleasant surprise for her.. Raghav and Ria were playing with the ball.. Ria was looking extremely happy.. Tears appear on her eyes along with a smile on her lips... She looks at them lovingly while unaware of her presence they were busy in some childish discussion...
"Dad.. that's cheating... U r a cheater!!"
"Haww.. I am not a cheater.. U r cheater just like ur mom!! U know ur mom too used to cheat while playing. U have gone on her."
Kalpi smiles on hearing it... She remembers her cute fights with Raghav over cheating in their favorite game Poker Rummy..
"Kalpi u r a big cheater... U again picked the wrong card and won... Enough of this.. I won't play with u."
"Raghav.. don't be a cry baby... Show me the proof of cheating and I will accept defeat..Btw it's ur turn to distribute the cards..."
"M not playing... U r cheater.."
"Oh really... cheater.. me... Let me show u.. "
"Ha..ha.. ha.. Stop it Kalpi.. Stop it.. "
"So M I a cheater? Say it.. Say it.."
"Stop tickling me.. U r not a cheater happy..."
Kalpi laughs loudly on remembering the past.. Ria was truly like her... She was expert in cheating and Raghav never caught her red handed... It was always his accusation which he failed to prove coz of her biggest weapon.. Tickling.
"Mom is not a cheater... U r cheater!! Cheater.. Cheater.. Dad is a cheater." Ria's voice brings back Kalpi to the present... She felt as if Ria's words were not for game but is a truth.. She remembers the fateful night and closes the window with a bang... A tear rolled down from her eyes.. "Ria is looking happy with Raghav but it's too late for u to come back." She thought... She opens the window once again and looks at her duaghter's happy face.. Looked like they have settled their fight and started chatting..
"I do not even want to look at u... But I can't stop myself from looking at my daughter's happiness... " She justified herself for opening the window once again.

Ria was having her dinner while Kalpi was sitting by her side listening to her constant blabber about the time she spend with her dad... Happiness was quite evident on her face which was enough for Kalpi to forget all her pain... To her surprise Pakhi and Gauri joins them for dinner... Gauri orders the servant to serve food to them as well as Kalpi...
"No mom... I will have dinner later." Kalpi said, though she knew that once again she has to skip the food... She hates herself for still waiting for Raghav on dinner but that was promise she made to herself and she is not the person who breaks promised easily.
"Bhabhi.. it's Bhai's order that everyone will have dinner together from now onwards.." Pakhi interrupted.
That was another shock for kalpi.. "Order for everyone that means including Mom too... How can he change so much?? Did he forgive mom??" She thought.
"The order was not for me... Pakhi dragged me here unnecessarily" Gauri replied after deciphering her expressions.
"Pakhi is right.. u r family and rule is for everyone... But I guess the rule maker doesn't have to follow it." Kalpi said sarcastically on not finding Raghav there... Kalpi herself was surprised on her sarcasm as it's not her style... May be the bitterness in their relationship has affected her tongue too.
"Pakhi.. Rule is for everyone and from now onwards no one will break it." Came Raghav's voice from behind... "I mean no one from my family.. " He said while looking at his mom, making it clear that she is not the part of his family.
"Wow Ria.. from now onwards.. Dadi and bua will have their dinner with us... Our complete family u know!!" Kalpi replied to Raghav indirectly.
Raghav was surprised on getting an indirect reply from Kalpi... From that night he had tried to talk to her many times but her answer was silence only... Not even once she had shown anger or asked any question from him or Maya... Unlike any other wife Kalpi dint fought for her rights but behaved as if he dint exist for her... Her indirect reply brought a beam of hope for Raghav.. Less he knew that it was her parent's support and Gauri's past which made her vocal enough to reply back to him. Over the dinner he tried talking to her again but she chose to remain silent and engaged herself in Ria and Pakhi's blabber.

The next week was bit different for Kalpi.. She had started conversing with her parents very often and they had came to visit her twice in the week.. They have invited her to stay with them for a day or two but she rejected the offer politely coz she dint had the courage to stay with Maya under one roof.. Her presence in the parties and award functions after the incident was enough to remind her about that night and she doesn't want to face her for longer period now. Her parents chose to not take Maya's name in front of her and hence she was unaware of the fact that Maya left the home after her confrontation with Vitthal.
Vitthal once tried to talk to her about divorce and suggested her to rethink on the decision for Ria. She observed Raghav keenly in the week. Raghav was busy in his work for the whole week but something was changes in him.. He was coming back on time.. The family was having dinner together and Rags was spending more time with Ria.. Though she was bit dishearten on seeing Raghav still giving more time to work than Ria and hence she stayed firm on her decision but little she knew that Rags was busy in handling his properties to various heads of the department so that she can lessen his burden and take leaves... The rest of the time when she seen him working at the home and being on the call was the time when he was consulting various doctors for Ria's treatment and gathering all the information about her disease.

UPDATE : No proof Reading... Kindly ignore the mistakes!! The update was already dedicated to Charu but dedicating it to Lavanya as well who wanted me to delay the court proceedings... Sorry baby the court proceeding is inevitable but I wrote the below part just for u.
Due to seminar in the college she got late that day... She threw her handbag on the chair and lies down on the bed without changing her dress... The sudden announcement of seminar had spoiled her time table and she had to call Ria's nanny Mamta to remind Ria about her medicines...
"Send Mamta in my room..." She said on the intercom. In few seconds Mamta was standing in front of her.. "Yes Mam.."
"Have u given medicines to Ria??" She asked.
"Actually Pakhi mam was there.. I reminded Ria baby to take medicine but...I will check now." Mamta replied.
"What if Pakhi was there.. I called u one hour back.. U r fired." Kalpi said in anger scaring Mamta.. Though she is aware of Kalpi's authoritative tone but she had never seen her so angry..
"Mam... I am sorry... I will give her meds now.." Mamta pleaded.
"I said Fire... U r here for taking care of Ria in my absence and if u can't do that properly u need not show me ur face... " Kalpi roared... Her eye became wide in anger and Mamta realized that it is better to stay mum... Without waiting for an answer, Kalpi ran towards Ria's room... the tiredness of the day dint affect her speed and in no time she reached there..
"Yayyy.. Ria fast.. fast!! U can do it!! Awesome!!" Pakhi was cheering Ria for something.. While Ria was giggling.. "Bhai... Look at urself... U have to paint on ur paper and not on urself..." Kalpi stopped hearing Pakhi's voice.
"Raghav is there?? But why?? N how will I give meds to Ria now?? Rags will come to know about her illness... But I can't delay her medicines anymore.." She thought and peeped in the room...
Ria and Raghav were sitting on the floor.. Ria was busy in painting something on the paper and sneaking at Raghav's sheet and laughing at him... She too notices Raghav who was struggling to paint something on the paper... She pitied Raghav on remembering his poor drawing skills... His green cheeks, red clothes and hands full of different colors amused her...But she smiled a bit on seeing a genuine smile on his face which was proof of his happiness... She felt like his old careless Raghav is sitting on the floor... Her soul in beautiful while saree came out of her body and approached Raghav... She picked another brush kept on his side.. Dipped it into the color water and splashes the water droplets on him... He looked up with a mischievous smile.. His famous lip bite made her realize that some naughty thoughts are coming in his mind... She stepped back while he picked the bowl of colored water and chases her... They were running around the table... He was trying hard to catch her but she was clever enough to throw stuffs at him to stop him.. Finally he grabbed her... She tried to stop him by holding the bowl resulting it to fall on the ground after splashing few droplets on her face... He pulled her toward him with a jerk resulting in a bump against his chest... He wrapped his arms around her and she smiled...He bends to kiss her and she pushed him slowly and turned around when he held her wrist and made her body sway.. She turned back and they started dancing to the tune of their heart..
"Yayy.. I won!! Look at ur clothes dad!!" Ria chuckled. Her voie made Kalpi come out of her reverie. She looked around and realized that she was day dreaming... She kept watching at Raghav was cheering Ria for her victory and holding his ears for challenging her... She rested her head on the door with her arms crossed against her chest and closes her eyes... She remembered the incident when she dint had such big garden and used to take care of her flower plants on her own..
Flashback
It was Sunday and Raghav had gone to office for 2-3 hours... She was getting bored and hence decided to buy dome new plants for her balcony... Raghav had already informed her that he will be back soon and hence he kept the door open... Her home was in the safe locality and hence it wasn't too risky for her... With her back towards the door she sat on the floor and started pouring the mud in the flower pot... Her hands were full of mud but the thought of yellow rose to her collection was making her feel happy about it... Suddenly she felt someone behind her... But before she can turn around he picked her in the arms from back side... She yelled and closed her eyes in fear when a gentle peck came on her nape of the neck... She feels the touch and recognizes it... "Raghav... put me down." She yelled...He kissed her again on the cheeks from behind... "Is this the way to react?? U know I would have got a heart attack.. Put me down now!!" He complied and made a puppy face to please her... "Not again Raghav.. it won't work on me!! Now I understand u ver well. Btw look at ur sleeves.. It got muddy!!" She said laughed while saying and sat back to complete her work.. he too sat beside her and started helping her... "Kalpi... Do u love this plants more than me??" He asked.
"I love this plants a lot... But more than u?? Well do I love u?? I don't think so." She joked...
"Well let me check it myself." He said with a naughty smile on his face and leaned forward while looking at her lips...
"No... Raghav.. No!!" She yelled on understanding his intentions but it was too late.. He was already too close to her.. She pushes him back with his muddy hands but he keeps coming closer to her and rests his lips on hers...
"So.. u really don't love me.." He said without moving his lips away.. She can feels his words on her lips and feeling uneasy on her feelings and uncomfortable on realizing that they r in an open balcony..
"Yes I do.. I love u a lot... More than anything in the world!!" She pushed him away hardly after giving a quick kiss on his lips..
"I knew it.." He said victoriously. She looked at him lovingly and notices mud on his shirt...
"Raghav.. Oh no!! Ur shirt got spoiled." She yelled. Raghav looked down and notices the stains... "Well.. I don't mind such beautiful stains..." He said while tracing his fingers on the lips...
"Wash clothes with ur own hands then u will realize how beautiful it is..." She mocked anger.
Flashback ends
"U know I hate washing such dirty clothes but u love staining it.. I am fed up of u." Unknowingly she said loudly... Her words drew everyone's attention towards her.. while she was still having the same angry look on her face and her hands back on her hips...
"Mom..." Ria screamed in happiness... Her voice brought Kalpi back to the present... She looked at Rags who was smiling at her... Her words were enough to bring back the same memory to him... "U still love me Kalpi... U still remember those days.. " Raghav thought. Pakhi's cell ring and she storms out of the room.
"Ria... How r u baby??" Kalpi asked and looked around to find her medicine... To her surprise the medicine was kept on the side table with half glass of water on its side... She picked the medicine and realized that Ria already took her dose.. She heaved relief and was about to leave when Ria called her again..."Mom... u were so damn correct!! M just like u.. Dad is a pathetic painter..." She said while showing her painting. Raghav raised his eyebrow on hearing that Kalpi told Ria about his painting skills...On normal days he would have mocked anger for her comment but today he was happy on knowing that Kalpi talks about him to Ria and that's the reason Ria is still close to him despite of all his mistake.
Kalpi passed a feeble smile and caressed her cheeks... "Awesome dear... I will hang it in the room too. U play... I need some rest." Kalpi said and came out of room... She looked at Pakhi who was talking on phone.
"Arey I was busy with bhai and Ria... Bhai pulled me along with him to spend some time with Ria.. I do not know why bhai is so worried about Ria and he gave her some medicines too... May be vitamins tablets... Neways I loved the time I spent with them... I think I should give some more time to my family... But I hope they do not interfere in my life... Neways the plan is on!! We are going to Vegas next week!!"
"Again a new trip... I wish she doesn't go on some wrong path.." Kalpi thought.. "Raghav gave medicine to Ria... Does he know about her?? Will Ria reminded him?? Dint he ask why the medicines for??" Questions arose in her mind.
"Trin trin.." Her cell rang!! "Ria's doctor!! Why is he calling me??" Kalpi wondered and received the call.
"Sorry to disturb u Mrs. Singhania but Rags sir is not picking his call and hence I had to call u... Actually he forgot his file in my cabin.. He must be worried about it and hence I thought to inform him... Will u please pass on my message.." Doctor said on call.
"Yaa sure I will... Btw why Raghav came to meet u??" She asked.
"To get details of Rihanna's problem... He is coming here from last 4-5 days and he was really worried about it and did complete research on epilepsy... I must say he is a very good dad. He consulted some other doctors as well and read all the possible articles... When he met me I was shocked to see that a businessman has so much knowledge on this topic..."
"Ohk!! I will inform him about the file." Kalpi said before disconnecting the call.
"Raghav went to meet the doctor... But why?? How he came to know about the disease?? Why is he trying to prove himself as a good father?? Has he really changed or is he doing it for the case?? Will he snatch Ria from me using her disease.. Or is he really wants to mend his ways... Ria was so happy today.. M I doing correct thing from taking her away from her dad... Yes..I am doing the correct thing.. I can't trust Raghav!! Once the court case will be over he will be back to his old self.. Ria will be alone and will suffer again. I need to move out of his life for Ria's lifelong happiness... I do not want Ria to get this happiness in installments.."
She took out her cell and dial Bhawna's number...
"Hello Klapi... I was about to call u... How r u??"
"I am fine... I just want to ask why this delay in court hearing??"
"I was about to call u to inform that the hearing will be on day after tomorrow... N to my surprise, it was opposition lawyer requested for a sooner date. "
Kalpi was shocked to hear this.. She was expecting Raghav to delay the case as much as possible but here he was trying to end it soon... "Does he want to get rid of me?? Does he want to marry someone else??" Kalpi thought.
"Hello.. Kalpi.. Hello!!"
"Yes bhawna.. sorry got distracted!! I will there on time. Thank u."
Kalpi hanged the call and lies on the bed lifelessly... "It will be good if it finishes soon.. Ria's Christmas vacations r coming... I will take an off too and will take her for some holidays... She will feel better and find it easy to adjust with the change... In vacations she won't meet her friends too and it will be better for her." Kalpi said to herself.
