Very good analysis. Humsafars is truly a treat to watch. For someone who isn't into soaps at all, this one has got me totally hooked. I am new to these forums but really enjoy all the fangiri and the expressive comments that all of you write. đ This s the first HC serial that I am watching and he is truly an amazing actor, but the new girl Shaivya is just too fabulous. She really brings life to the character of small town girl who is innocent and yet has had to grow up really quickly due o her circumstances.
I too loved today's episode. Slowly and steadily they are showing how and why the protagonists are coming close. Sahir, after knowing what she has gone through in her life has suddenly realized that he needs to protect her. Alvira's speech where she says that he has disappointed her by not understanding Arzoo's pain has made him realize that she fights her past demons just the way he does. He infact in one of the scenes tells her that you are just like me.
Knowing that Sahir is pretty astute, even in the earlier episodes he always looked into
arzoo's eyes before commenting. he is able to see that she is in love with him while he holds her in the rain. He hasn't realized his own feelings yet so he turns towards her as a protector, a role he is used to playing, but Arzoo, too lost in her new emotions, turns away. I feel that is a way of depicting that she is as strong as Sahir is, good at hiding her feelings and used to walking alone. How these two will conquer their past fears and move towards being Humsafars will be an interesting watch.
