You made very good points, I did not think that Saahil felt that Arzoo was falling in love. I had felt that he was falling for her and wanted to stop himself. But today, I fell that he has realised or is questioning about what Arzoo is feeling.

He did have that what is wrong with her expression on his face when he saw her look at him on the bench ... but can't be sure if he would realize she loves him ... and yes he wanted her to stay away because he knew its not possible or he didn't want it because of his own hurt and pain ... if he didnt care for her he would tell himself only and not her "mujhe sey dour raho" ... the umbrella falling ... the way he dropped it I think that was a realization that what he didnt want has happened or that even if he wants he cant help her in this one!

Hi Pearly - great post. I am also not totally clear on what Sahir was thinking through the sequence. Especially the final scene after he brings the umbrella and is looking away from Aarzoo. Her face drops and she starts walking away. I like what you said about him suddenly feeling she is walking away from his protection and although he didn't want her to fall for him, he is also feeling hurt/confused by her actions. Him dropping the umbrella also means something...but I am not clear yet. Need to see if they give some insight into his head today. I'm waiting until the end of the week to pass full judgement. I just feel like there is only so much gazing these guys can do now. A next step needs to be taken (which as you say, is likely to be heartbreak on both sides)

I dont think he has realized she has fallen for him. He looked very confused and even like he was rejected near the end. He might have always felt that she was attracted to him but many girls are. But I dont think he is aware of her having serious feelings. I at times felt he was some what insecure around her. Like when she brought him burnt toast he asked if she was trying to make fun of him? Maybe after Zeenat, he believes no one can seriously care for him beyond his looks and money. There was always this insecurity she might not think very highly of him? So I dont think he is aware of any serious feelings from her end.

I am not an avid serial watcher but this love story definitely has had its moments.
I feel that Sahir may mistakenly feel that Arzoo is in love with Zaki and vice-versa.
There has to be jealousy brought in from somewhere.

Besides, the Creatives can't make it so straightforward.

Else, Sahir may get the formal proposal from Rehman for his daughter and Arzoo may not be comfortable hearing about this.

Anyways, I don't understand what is zeenat's relevance here? Either, it wl be Arzoo who feels betrayed or Sahir who may turn helpless!!!

No, I don't think that Sahir knows that Arzoo might have feelings for him. He has always tried to distance himself from her only cos he was feeling a pull towards her especially after the jungle episodes. Right now he is trying to help and protect her in every possible way after knowing she has been leading a painful life. Yesterday's scene, it was his concern for her which made him go out in rain which he dislikes. Seeing her preoccupied he wanted to help her. As she walks out, I felt there was disappointment and as confusion as he couldn't understand why she was walking off ignoring him, IMO.
