Part 33 - day 19 - part 1

In the morning, sohum is still in an anger state.

Simreen asks him if there is something wrong but he says sometimes he just doesn't understand this girl.

Simreen thinks for a minute then says "Yesterday did something happen with-"

Sohum interrupts her (because he wasn't really listening) "This Rajji, she is really unbelievable!"

Simreen is confused. "Rajji? I thought you were talking about bani..."

They look at each other confused. Then sohum realizes that even if bani is having problems in her life right now, he is more thinking about rajji and their little quarrel.

Simreen says "Sohum, what happened? I thought you were about to tell Rajji that you don't have feelings for bani anymore..." Sohum thinks that when he went upstairs to talk to rajji, she was with amreek. He doesn't understand why but he really doesn't like seeing amreek back and he can't believe that rajji actually went and talk to him. He doesn't want to admit it even to himself but he feels cheated.

He gets angry at the whole situation and doesn't want to think about it anymore so he responds "Sorry babhi, I have to go to the keth now then I'm going to get rajji." Simreen is worried but at least sohum said that rajji will be back so she figures it's nothing major.

At the keth. Sohum is being annoying because of his bad mood, cuggi says "stop being like that, there are the business man coming today, you better act better in front of them". [keth business : the business man says that pdg was very satisfied of sohum and he wants to get things going for real. He is proposing a full time job in Canada, job, car and house included, salary high. Sohum is really thinking about it. Business man says that pdg has been really patient but now he has to give an answer soon.]

Sohum goes to get rajji back in the middle of the day. When he arrives, he is not really annoyed anymore. He kind of just wants to see her. He sees Rajji from afar, she is holding a tray and going inside (she didn't see him yet). Just seeing her makes him smile. He wants to go after her but he is interrupted by bani who is welcoming him. After greeting him, bani proposes him to sit and take a cup of tea but he says that he is not staying for long as he only came to bring rajji back.

Bani says that she is going to call her then.

But he calls bani back "Bani. Wait a second. I wanted to tell you something."

Bani stops and looks at him with interrogation in her eyes.

Sohum takes a breath and says that he hopes that everything will soon be alright between her and parmeet just like things became alright between him and rajji. He says that he trust god to make it all alright in the end because bani is a nice and kind person and that she truly deserves happiness.

Bani tears up and smiles, she thanks sohum. She goes inside to find rajji. She says "sohum is here." Rajji doesn't really responds, she just nods distractedly.

Bani says hesitantly "... rajji... I can see that things are better between you and sohum and that's a really good thing. It seems to me that he has really been trying to accept you as a wife lately so I hope that you too, you're really doing efforts."

Rajji sighs, packing up her bag to go back. She says "Bani. I appreciate your concern but I think that you should get things straight in your couple, before giving me advices."

Bani is confused and hurt. She says "Rajji? What do you mean?"

Rajji wants to tell her that she noticed the sad look on bani's face since she came back, but the thought of bani hugging sohum doesn't make rajji want to be empathetic right now so she says that she doesn't have the time to talk as she has to go now and leaves.

When she is outside, she arrives at sohum's side. She has a stern face. Sohum asks if everything is alright. She says "Are we going or what?" Sohum who wasn't about to be mean is set off by her reaction and is a bit angry now. They go home in silence.

Arrived at their house simreen says she is glad that they're back. She says that sohum hasn't eaten yet so Rajji should go make him a plate.

When in the kitchen rajji is annoyed of her own anger because she knows she is being childish. Simreen comes in the kitchen so rajji tries to calm down.

Simreen asks if everything was alright at the wedding.

Rajji marks a pause but says that there was nothing different from usual.

Simreen says "I guess that's good news. Before going sohum told me that he was anxious about going... because of Bani" Rajji freezes. But before simreen can explains she has to go because angad is calling her.

Rajji gets out of the kitchen to bring the plate to Sohum. She is silent because she is thinking about what simreen just said.

Sohum starts eating. Rajji sits to his side. He asks if she wants to eat too (just in case she didn't eat at her maike) but she says that she isn't hungry.

Sohum sighs but doesn't say anything and continues eating.

After some time he thinks about bani saying that she is currently struggling at her sassural. He asks rajji if bani told her anything.

Rajji gets mad she says "it's always about bani isn't it? Now that you've seen her last night, she's all you can think about right?" She gets up and goes to her room.

Sohum is angry, he leaves his plate and follow her.

As soon as he enters the room he says "what is your problem?"

rajji says "my problem?"

Sohum says "you keep getting get mad without any reason! If anyone here should be angry I think I'm the one!"

"You? What even for?" Sohum doesn't want to say it. Rajji insists "Well sohum? What for?"

He says "You acted all shocked when you saw amreek at the wedding but not even an hour after that, I found you laughing in his arms. I guess old flames grow back fast!"

Rajji says "I guess I can say the exact same thing about you, don't I? I wouldn't have been laughing in another man's arms if my husband didn't spend the night comforting someone else!"

Sohum is a bit confused, rajji says "You'd take any opportunity to get close to bani. You're making me sick." At her words, he takes her by the shoulders to hit her against the wall. He is seeing red. He says "I don't want to hear another word." Sohum is both hurt and angry by her words. He leaves the room.

PART 34 - day 19 - part 2

Sohum gets out of the room and leaves the house as Simreen was cleaning the eating table. She sees him going out so she calls for him but he doesn't respond and just leaves. At the front gate he passes by angad who asks him where he is going in such a hurry but sohum doesn't respond. Angad comes in and asks what is going on but simreen is as confused at him. She says that they should probably go asks rajji.

They enter the room and they find rajji crying, sitting on the floor against the wall where sohum left her. Angad and simreen are really worried and angad asks her if sohum manhandled her. Rajji keeps crying and doesn't respond. Simreen kneels by her side and takes her in her arms. She starts to cry out of worry too. Angad says that this is too much and that he is going to have a conversation with sohum as soon as he comes back.

Sohum is really angry. He is walking with no particular destination. He recalls him saying to simreen that he is really moving on and happy to have rajji by his side. Then he recalls rajji laughing with amreek and rajji saying he (sohum) is making her sick. When he thought that everything was starting to fall into places, now he is not sure about anything. He knew from the start that Rajji wanted to stay by his side because they are married but now he thinks that maybe, all this time she still add feelings for amreek. He feels deeply hurt about this. He should have asked her about this instead of screaming at her. Now he is not sure about his own feelings, what if rajji were right ? What if he allowed himself to care for Rajji just because Bani was not around. "This can't be..." he thinks "rajji and I... there was something between us lately. It's still fragile but it's here..." He is so frustrated that he stops walking. He runs his hands through his hair, not knowing anything anymore. That's when he receives a call on his mobile. He picks up. It's pdg. After a short discussion pdg asks if sohum has thought about his proposition. Sohum is silent , Sohum finally says "yes, I have thought about it."

He comes home really late. Angad and simreen are waiting for him. Rajji is in her room. Angad gets up when sohum enters the house, sohum wants to pass him to go in his bedroom but angad gets in his way. He says "Sohum. What you did today was not acceptable and I am not going to let you have your way about it. We need to talk." Sohum is reluctant but sits down. Angad says "Listen to me closely Sohum. You were the one who brought Rajji back in this house and you promised to treat her right. To give her love and respect and today I learn that you manhandled on her? What is going on with you? You stoop really low today." Sohum isn't talking. Angad is hesistant but says "Is this because bani is back on town Sohum? Is she the reason you're angry at your wife?"

Sohum is shocked he says "Bani has nothing to do with it."

Angad says "Well, you know better. But don't think you can act like that with rajji."

Sohum says "It's not going to happen again..." Angad is happy to hear that, he looks at Simreen who is happy too. Rajji heard sohum was back so she gets up the bed and goes to the door. She opens the door and stands in the doorway when sohum continues "It's not going to happen again because I'm leaving."

Angad, simreen and rajji are shocked. Simreen says "You are leaving? Where? What do you mean sohum?"

Sohum gets up and says "Today I accepted Pdg's offer to work for him. The job position is in Canada."

Angad says "But sohum!"

Sohum gets up and says "I already took my decision, there is no need for further discussion. It's already all set up." He goes to his room, passing by rajji. He stops at her level but he doesn't look at her. He says loud enough for everyone to hear him "I'm leaving the day after tomorrow."Rajji is tearing up. Sohum closes the door behind him. Sohum wanted to hurt her to get back at her since she hurt him too earlier but now that he hears her crying, he feels miserable.

Rajji is devastated. She starts crying but simreen and angad get by her side and try to calm her down.

Later that night, when rajji comes into the room, sohum is getting out of the shower. Their eyes meet but sohum ignores her. He starts walking to his side of the bed. Rajji calls his name, in a voice tired from crying. Sohum stops.

Rajji says "Don't do it. Don't leave sohum." She gets close and grabs his arms, she cries "Don't leave me. I'm sorry for everything. Please sohum don't go to Canada." But he takes her hands off of his arm and goes to sleep, without looking at her, saying "don't waste your efforts, I've already taken my decision.

They go to sleep, both turning their back to each other. Rajji is sobbing. Sohum is wide awake. He knows that rajji is crying but he doesn't want to touch or talk to her so he clenches his fists, because it stills hurts him to hear her cry, and tries to fall asleep.

He knows that flying away from his problems won't solve them but right now, he just needs time away from Rajji and Bani and he wants to sort through his feelings and he needs to be alone to do it. Once he's away from both Bani and Rajji, he'll know which one he misses the most and which one he really cares about. He can't continue on keeping Rajji's on her toes, he had to come true to his feelings.

Angad and simreen are worried too, they can't seem to fall asleep.

loved all the three parts 😊.. rajji amreek scenes were superb and I loved the way misunderstanding happening between soji 😊.. soham and simran scene was too good and the highlight of the update 👏👏👏.. especially soham's dialogues 👏..

I just loved it all, you are just brilliant. I loved and was very happy when soham said to Simran bhabhi that he felt nothing when he hugged Bani. And I loved it when Soham felt uncomfortable and jealous when he find Rajji with Amreek. And really liked it the fact that you gave a chance to Amreek to explain his side of the story and gave closure to his character. Egarly waiting for the next parts.

PART 35 - DAY 20

In the morning when rajji gets up, her eyes are puffed from all the crying; she comes out of her room to take her breakfast. Angad is already sitting sipping his tea and Simreen, who is putting food on the table, looks at her with empathy. Then she asks if sohum is up yet. Rajji doesn't understand, she says that she thought that sohum would be with them as she was alone in the room when she woke up; Simreen looks at angad. Angad looks just as confused as them. Simreen says he must have gone out for a walk or an errand. She proposes that they just all take their breakfast without worry.

Angad is very uncomfortable because he is hurting for rajji but yet doesn't know what to say. He can't prevent sohum from leaving if this is his wish and he knows that whatever he will say to rajji, it won't make her suddenly happy.

Around midday sohum still isn't back. Simreen tells angad to phone him. Angad agrees, he is about to phone but right then sohum enters the house.

Angad says "Sohum. I was about to phone you. Where were you all this morning?"

Sohum says "I had to go to the keth to tell everyone that I was going to leave for canada." He marks a pause and glances at rajji then continues "I don't know when I'll be back so I thought I might say properly goodbye to everyone". Rajji goes back into her room because she doesn't want to burst into tears in front of everyone. Angad looks at her go then turns toward sohum.

Angad says "Sohum please. About this decision..."

Sohum interrupts him and says "Veer jee. I know what you think but I'm not leaving because I'm mad at rajji. I'm leaving because I've been given an amazing opportunity and I'd be a fool to not take it. I know this is hurting rajji and I care about that but we've been fighting so much and things have been going so fast between us that I start to think that we should take some time apart. So we can both sort our feelings out."

Angad doesn't know what to say anymore. Sohum says he is going into his room to prepare his suitcase.

Sohum enters his bedroom hesitantly, not ready to face Rajji. He starts picking out clothes to put in his suitcase. Rajji is crying but sohum tries to not pay attention and keep on with what he is doing. When Sohum is done he goes at the door to leave, still not saying a word to rajji. She wants to calls his name but then figures it's of no use so she keeps quiet. Sohum stops at the door not knowing if he should turn back and talk to her but then he thinks that it'll only hurt rajji more so he just leaves.

Later on he says that he is going to see cuggi. Angad and simreen don't say anything. When he is with cuggi, cuggi notices right away that there is something wrong.

cuggi asks what is going on

sohum says directly that he accepted the job in Canada.

At first cuggi thinks that sohum is joking so he laughs but sohum isn't laughing with him. Cuggi asks if he is serious

sohum says yes.

Cuggi asks why he is doing that, now that rajji and him are falling in love together.

Sohum says angrily that he doesn't know what is cuggi talking about as he is not in love with her, and that rajji is surely not in love with him.

Cuggi is a bit fed up and he says that he can be oblivious as much as he wants now, but that later he will not have the right to be regretful.

Sohum starts to say "cuggi..." but cuggi interrupts him and he says that sohum has already decided to go, then there is no point in arguing about it anymore. He congratulates him for becoming a NRI husband to the only girl that liked him better just as he was and not with a visa. Then he leaves, letting sohum alone and confused.

Rajji is still crying by herself in the bedroom, she is holding the little lovebirds. Suddenly she hears a knock on the door. She hides the lovebirds behind her pillow and says "come in"

it's simreen. She came to say that rajji shouldn't worry too much. That sohum is a very impulsive guy but he is also quick to calm down when it's about people he cares for.

Rajji says that she doesn't think that sohum ever actually cared about her.

Simreen says that she shouldn't say things like that as sohum said himself at jas' wedding that he cared for rajji.

Rajji is surprised. But then she says "whatever he said, now we're back where we were 3 weeks ago. It's like whatever we do, we're just not getting along. We're never on the same wavelength."

Simren says that fights and arguments happen in every couple so she should not give them so much weight. Simreen says that rajji needs to keep fighting for her love and build a relationship with sohum.

Rajji says that she is tired of always fighting, she says that maybe she has no strength left anymore.

Simreen says " one never runs out of strength when it's about loved ones". Then she says that even at the other side of the world, sohum is still her husband and that's a bond that isn't to be easily broken. She has to have faith in her own strength and the sacred link that is between them.

Rajji is a feeling a bit better so Simreen hugs her and leaves her.

At dinner everyone is very quiet. Sohum is extremely surprised when he sees that rajji is preparing his plate. He doesn't have the heart to tell her not to do it so he takes it when she gives it to him. He eats without a word but his eyes keeps falling on rajji. She has a stern face but she isn't crying anymore.

At night in his room, sohum is making sure that he didn't forget anything. He is looking around when rajji approaches him. He looks at her and sees that she is holding the red sweater.

She says "It's a warm sweater, it will come handy over there in Canada. Everyone is saying that it's cold there."

Sohum says "I don't need it."

She looks at him angrily. She throws it on his suitcase and says "You might as well throw it away then." And she goes to sleep without any other word.

Sohum doesn't move. He seems to be thinking out what he should do. He puts his passport and others papers in his suitcase and goes to sleep. The night feels like an eternity to both of them.

nice update dear ...but why is soham feeling weired to face bani😕...i have never thought of bani and soham hug ..and soham will compare this hug with kookie hug...😆😆🤣...now the problem is solved,,,well done ..you are a very good writer😃😃😃

soham 🤬🤢... after seeing soji relation developing slowly and with all the minute details of bonding blossoming between them it is shocking to see soham again going back to square one.. its like all the small things that helped them coming closer to each other and also led soham to realise what rajji matters to him has gone down the drains now 😭... he thinking he is going away so that he can realise who is he missing more .. rajji or bani.... I mean like wen did bani come in picture all of a sudden and started matering him in this big way 😲🥱..

I am absolutely addicted to your writting...I really want to see soham realise his mistakes and the fact that he has been upsetting rajji. Please dear continue soon I will be waiting. X
