The news of her signing her with Srk and KJo/RK comes out and here people are trying to make themselves better by venting out their jealousy. lol Go on!
But the thing is that her boxoffice is not even as disastrous as you are making it seem!
Her last movies were in 2010 and it was a bad year for all actresses.
Bebo has 2 flops with milenge, WAF and one hit with G3.
Deepik had 4 flops with KCK, BKB, KHJJS, LP and one hit with Housefull
Kat had TMK
ETC
On the other hand,Ash had:
Raavan-Flop (but well received by international critics and film festivals)
Raavanan-SUPERHIT
Endhiran/Robot- a 400 CR grosser All time Blockbuster
AR-Flop
Guzaarish-Flop( but was highly acclaimed with lot of nominations/awards..Ash herself won 4 awards for the film)
Even in 2009,pp2 was a commercial success(grossed $85 million) but panned by critics.
In 2008, Sarkar Raj recovered all its money.def. above average. JA was a superhit.
And anyways, if hits are everything where are people like Asin? Aren't 4 out of 5/6 of her films hits?
But hits or flops, they have hardly affected Ash's career.She has always invested in content.. most of her films are acclaimed and well received which is equally important if not more.
She is India's biggest female star and is bigger than her films. No wonder all the top directors have still lined up to sign her.
So haters can keep burning cos she is gonna keep ruling! 😆
