Well...as I sit down to write about the Ishra moment...I find myself out of words. Some feelings are better felt than described by words.😳

A couple who had everything going wrong around them, who had been so engrossed in trying to be the pillar of support for their families ...hadn't had a chance to spend any quality time between themselves... today when Ruhi brought them close to 'punish' them..and kissed them both...for a moment they were lost in each other's eyes...forgot their daughter momentarily;who was standing in between them and their desire for each other was the only feeling that was palpable between them.

Raman recovered first and reminded himself and her of their other duties. And then oh so quietly, he expressed his desire of getting his 'punishment' from her next time...and he also promised to bring her 'meetha sharbat' and expressed the wish of his own from her. She didn't hesitate one moment to accept the offer.

A couple who for months have lived in the same room, hiding behind the veil of banter to hide their growing feelings for each other today stood at precipice of acknowledging mutual desire for intimacy ...they made no qualms about it as both feel secure in their love . Sometimes these moments define love for a couple than verbal declaration.

It was a good episode ..of vintage YHM flavor..where we saw a couple who had faced the biggest challenge of their relationship, taking the first step to overcome that with the help of Raman. It was so heart-touching to see a Jiju reaching out to his sister-in-law in a warm way, sort of what Bala always does for Ishita. Raman first reminded Mihika of her strengths and chit chatted with her to lighten her mood up and then brought Mihir to her room as he knew Mihir's words will help her broken spirit and left them alone to start rebuilding their lives together...an emotional reunion scene between two lovebirds :

And finally we got a glimpse of the love that brought Raman and Ishita together: Ruhi. Loved that little touch where a mother recognized her daughter's touch without even turning and what followed next was Ruhi taking away first Ishita and then Raman away from the cloud of gloom that surrounds them and enveloped them with the embrace of her love:

A beautiful episode of human relationships where on one side we saw the ugliness of it in a woman on a mission to malign two innocent other women...and each unit of family supporting each other through their trying times just by providing unconditional support to each other.

I loved the episode so much ...got a little overboard with making collages 😳 Special shout out to the CVs for again giving us the reason why YHM is so close to our hearts.

All my complaints and frustrations with this show vanished with today's episode, not because of the Ishra scene that I am about to fangirl about but because today's episode returned my puttar to me in his original mould, we got Ruhi, and we got a family moment. I mean what else can a girl ask for really!

G your collage has forced me to watch that scene again and again, and puttar ...I just don't have words have anymore! G you know how I am a fan of these moments like yourself and the last 6 minutes of the episode was pure bliss, the essence of YHM was reflecting in those 6 minutes.

"If I look upon my whole life, I cannot think of another time when I felt more comfortable: when I had no worries, fears, or desires, when my life seemed as soft and lovely as lying inside a cocoon of rose silk."-Amy Tan

Today that passionate eyelock between two lovers told a story of comfort, love, not just ordinary love but Ishq wala love! Their eyes moist and glistening with joyous tears, their heart full of pride of their daughter, their mind full of desire for each other and soul gravitating towards each other. In that cocoon of rose silk called their bedroom these two have found a nest for their beautiful family, where they lay down their armor, expose their vulnerabilities, let their dreams breathe and have their hopes fly.
In the sanctity of that room they literally become the wind beneath each other's wings, and whenever their wings get heavy with the world's dust, their little soldier marches in to ruffle their feathers, blow away the dust and give them a new lease on life.

I loved how amidst all the relationships these two are able to steal that one moment of togetherness so they can remind each other that their love is reason enough for them to fight the hard fight.

"Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the World and it will one day return there." - Paulo Coelho

They do not need to confess their love, they already know, the trepidations are long gone and now are replaced with desires. Desire to hold each other, to be in each other's embrace, to be loved, to be cared and even to be punished. Their desires are now finding their way out, so he sends away his daughter, leans in close and tells her, 'Next time I want this punishment from Ishimaa', she doesn't shy away, she looks back into his eyes and with a few tears of happiness telling him that she will happily give away such punishments to her Raavan Kumar for the rest of her life.
If I comment on the sherbet scene and puttar's wink near the door I will faint! So I am gonna save myself and my heart from racing and end it here 😆

Rafi saab's song today, one of my favs:

Ishaaro ishaaro mein dil lene waale
bataa ye hunar tune sikhaa kahaa se
nigaaho nigaaho mein jaadoo chalaanaa
meree jaan sikhaa hain tum ne jahaa se

Edited:Today their interaction reminded me of this moment from Dil to Pagal Hai, they both maintained distance but in their minds they have already surrendered to each other.

Yikes first page!!😲😲😲

And let me apologise if this doesnt seem right to some!!

Since u and doc have almost similar named posts forgive me for my almost similar replies 😆😆😆

So yeah.. i have a lot of reasons to complain in the episode but i chose to leave logic aside and viewed it as a standalone episode and ended up liking it for the most part minus ruhi's overgrown dialogues! i know she has had mature dialogues earlier too but she's always said them with an innocent charm which I found to be unfortunately missing in the episode..

But hey!! The biggest awww moment for me in the epi was Mihir!! ❤️ The guy is such an absolute darling!!! The way he scolded her, questioned her trust in him and finally broke down was just so heart wrenching!!! 😭 it was the best scene of the epi IMO..

I also quite liked the Raman Mihika convo.. 😳 IMO it was better than the Ishita Mihika convo the earlier day

I have to ask u cos i asked Doc this too... Can u pleej ask your puttar to decide what he wants to do in his guilt? Keep her close or away? This pendulum act is stopping me from liking what would otherwise have been a brilliant moment!!!

But i can only hope that the worst of the tracks is behind us and what will come will hopefully be more logical and sensible - something the show has mostly tried to maintain!!😳

Unexpectedly amazing episode that brought back a little of my faith in the CVs... how long until my trust is tested again?😕...Maybe this just means i'm too fickle!😛

---EDIT--

Lovely, lovely post on a much needed episode that helped cleanse our sense of doom, if only for a while. The collages, all of them, are so wonderful... ISHRARU after so very long. Back to the heart of the show, and the little angel that stole all our hearts.

Honestly, I simply can't think of anything to say that has not yet been said, and much better too, by other posters; especially about the ISHRARU scenes.

There are two there aspects of the episode I appreciated as much as the ISHRARU and MiMi scenes.

Firstly, Simmi and Romi and their care and concern for Ishu and desire to help her. Whatever their plan is and however it turn out , let's take a moment to appreciate how far they have both come in the way they relate to Mihika and Ishu respectively. That Romi wants to help Miku because she is such a bad state, that Simmi wants to ease Ishu's worry- this is true character growth. This is a slice of life. Because all of us do go through these instances where we learn from our mistakes and grow. Tthese Bhallla siblings are slowly stealing my heart as they show us once again that they truly are RKB's little siblings. And again I can see how they must have been as children. If only the forgotten child, Rinki , would return so we can get the full Bhalla- Iyer clan effect. 😉

I sincerely hope there is no back-step in this character development. Family is power, family is strength, and these scenes give me hope for the future track. Because JKR is definitely going to need her family, all of her family, to save their family, marriage and most especially Raman himself from being buried from the weight of RKB's ludicrous [self] sacrifice.

As well, I truly appreciated that today we got to see so many different aspects of RKB. With the limited presence of Raman on our screens these past episodes, today was a real treat. We got to see him in all his various roles- brother, husband, father and son. How wonderful it was to see him at his best, consoling, reuniting, loving, laughing and enjoying his family. Watching him today, I thought of the initial days of YHM -of the cold hearted RKB who distanced himself from everyone and barely interacted with his loved ones. What a difference a woman, the woman makes I suppose.

All his lines in his differing avatars revealed a lot about the core of this amazing man- there is just one line i have an issue with. When he refers to Ruhi as a reflection of Ishu- she is undoubtedly that; but she is also a reflection of the kindness and goodness of Raman- that he can't see himself in her, his goodness in her, certainly indicates to me that perhaps that's something he can't acknowledge fully in himself as well. That's how damaged he is. And that's what will lead to the upcoming track.

So maybe the track is needed not just to illustrate the strength of ISHRA's relationship but to allow for Raman to finally shed the weight of his past and the self doubts and misconceptions it has instilled in him so that the man that comes out at the other end of the track is one who recognizes his own worth and value outside of that as provider- who sees the same characteristics in himself that he sees in his wife and their daughter. May he finally accept that as much as he is Raavan Kumar and RKB; at heart, at root, he is, was, and always will be Raman.

Puttar's effect on me:

---Edited---

"Then love knew it was called love. And when I lifted my eyes to your name, suddenly your heart showed me my way" ~ Pablo Neruda, Veinte poemas de amor y una cancin desesperada; Cien sonetos de amor

"The eyes are one of the most powerful tools a woman can have. With one look, she can relay the most intimate message. After the connection is made, words cease to exist. " ~Jennifer Salaiz

"True love doesn't need proof. The eyes told what heart felt." ~Toba Beta, My Ancestor Was an Ancient Astronaut

Gan when I was watching the episode today I was thinking about you and your posts after I stopped blushing like an idiot☺️! I knew you were going to make a post that would make me blush like crazy and I was going read many blush worthy responses. I know I have said the word blush a lot but that was all I was doing during the last couple of minutes! I really love the quotes you have chosen! Beautiful written as always. I am loved today's episode, it had a balance of everything, family bonding, cute couple scene, hot couple scene, Ishu-Ruhi and their BG song, and an amazing family scene which I was really missing.

The Raman-Mihika scene was cute in how he made her realize her mistake. Totally enjoying the jiju-saali bonding. Mihir-Mihika scene was so cute. They are one of those awww couples. Seriously that scene between them I wanted to see happen after Ishita was hospitalized. I wanted them to hold each other and comfort each other on that tiny hospital bed. Oh well maybe sometime in the future.

Shagun is at her evil best and is annoying as ever. The family scenes were they were supporting each other was sweet and I am loving the redemption Simmi and Romi. I wonder what their plan is.

Coming to the Ishra-Ruhi scenes, what can I say about these scenes other than they are always heartwarming. Little Ruhi always steals the scene whenever she is with her parents. The way she cheers up Ishita imitating Toshi Aunty is so cute. Her bond with Ishita is stronger than blood. I love whenever they play BG music, it's so perfect. Ruhi's punishment to her father was adorable because we got one of the most meaningful eye lock so far. It wasn't a romance type of eye lock as it was more of a soulful eye lock. That eye lock was a couple expressing their feelings for one another, admiring one another. The way they looked at each other. Raman's expression just showed his alter most love for Ishita. I think Raman feels guilty in seeing Ishita in pain because of Ashok and Shagun but when he goes near her, his heart doesn't let him let her go. Instead it makes him go closer to him. That to me was his eyes expressed. Ishita face was just counting her blessings. Her daughter and her husband her whole life, and disbelief that she could have it specially Raman's love. To me those where what her eyes were saying.

Now coming to RKB's epic flirting line and whatever the sherbet dialogue meant, all I could feel was:

Lastly my daily poem dedication of Ishra:

Eyes of passion,

Blue and tender,

A world of love awaits,

A soulmate inside,

Sensual touch,

Sensual sight,

Love is strong tonight,

Love is uniting,

Passion burns brightly,

Bodies engage slightly,

Eyes meet and flutter,

Lips touch and quiver,

Voices play together,

Become one forever,

Stare in her eyes,

See the sky,

For love burns brightly.
