Sakshi's protection to Shaurya Vs Dev's protection to Nithya

So for me if Shaurya has to fall Sakshi has to fall. And if Sakshi has to fall her obsessive love has to be defeated. And if you look the only other person who has that obsessive love bordering on madness forcing him to do insane things is Dev. We all know Dev's track record. Seemingly a sensible guy he has crossed all boundaries of insanity in the name of a woman called Nithya. In his quest for Nithya otherwise sanskaari son of Suchitra has done things if known to his mom can put her to shame. Became Architect to date Durga to get info on Nithya, stole a medical report, broke into Dayal's house and searched a woman's room, didn't hesitate to hold his would be sis in laws hand, got into a deal marriage thinking he can dump his wife after he gets Nithya, imitated his uncle's voice, got a sick, mentally unstable girl from the hospital to the apartment without thinking of the risk involved. None of the actions are sensible.

Now if this guy gets his Nithya he is getting after lot of running around. He has almost lost her and has then found her. It is like a second chance for him. It is now or never. He will become her protective cover. Just like Sakshi will go any extent to protect Shaurya, Dev will go any extent to protect his Nithya. And his protective instinct will be stronger because he has lost and found her, while Sakshi has never lost Shaurya.

And it is this protective instinct that is finally going to peel of Shaurya's biggest protective layer thus exposing him in a vulnerable form to Durga/Nithya.

I hope CVs take this route and not izzat bachao drama. Because this looks more sensible, justifies Dev's character and Shaurya becoming Nithya's target and she taking him down.

Because in the past Nithya was without protective cover while Shaurya had it, whereas this time it has to be the reverse.
