His beauty extends into the heavens,

Shashank Vyas was born on 30^thNovember, in Ujjain in a typical middle class family. He wanted to pursue his career as an MBA but fate had different plans . Shashank was always fond of acting. He actively participated in his school and college plays . In 2009 he came to Mumbai to try his luck in acting on encouragement of a friend .

His stay in Mumbai was full of struggles His friend left him in the lurch by not answering his calls after he got off at Dadar station. He stayed at a gurudwara in Andheri , where beds were provided on a first-come-first-serve basis. That meant many sleepless nights for him. He joined Anupum Kher's acting academy to learn acting from there A month later he shifted in Mumbai his dear mother passed away and he had to go back to his home town to attend her funeral In between he was discouraged not to pursue acting but then remembering his late mother's advices to never lose hope ,he decided to continue what he started. He returned to Mumbai and started struggling to make his place in glittering showbiz world .His struggle boasts to 285 auditions in 18 months. He managed to get modelling assignments and some cameo roles a one-day cameo in Sony TV's Rishta.com, and a cameo in Farah Khan's film Tees Maar Khan To Shashank all these assignments are dear to him as they helped him earn his bread in Mumbai

Finally in mid 2010 his hard work paid off when he was selected to play the male protagonist Jagdish Bhairon Singh /Jagya in Colors TV's most popular show Balika Vadhu-kachi umer k pake rishte when show took leap of 5 years .Shashank entered show on 26th July 2010 as teenage Jagya, stepping in shoes of Avinash Mukherjee who played the role of child Jagdish /Jagya On that unforgettable day, Shashank Vyas, tall, handsome and astonishingly charming, exceptionally talented actor with a radiating smile on his face with an amazing screen presence, entered into this phenomenally successful serial, Balika Vadhu', a story based on child marriage as teenage Jagdish and won millions of hearts His flawless acting got him numerous praises from viewers and critics alike in all through the character Jagdish's journey , from a teenager to a successful doctor to right now a budding young politician MLA of district Jaitsar From a Balak Var married to Anandi at a tender age to finally meeting with his true soul mate Ganga and right now an adorable father of two small kids Shashank has delivered powerful and impactful performance as Jagdish that made the character iconic in Indian televsion industry and will be remembered as one of the finest performances in television till many years to come

With receiving acclaim from viewers and critics, Shashank 's brilliant acting has been acknowledged at various award functions too He has been nominated for many awards and won in 2011 Global Indian Film and TV Honors Best Male Debut for Balika Vadhu . and in 2012 he was honored at colors Golden Petal Awards for Best Character Portrayal Jagdish /Jagya

Shashank is also praised by media and people for being one among those actors who have fame but still no starry tantrums , a complete down to earth and humble person who is dedicated to his work and also a level headed person with no starry airs affecting his charming personality He is a down to earth , humble and modest person in real life. Shashank is definitely like a breathe of fresh air for Indian Television Industry
